So this is something that has been on my mind for a while, how to clean up the forums with the threads that arent needed anymore, along with just making the place looks more organized I should say. Like the league is already doing a good job at that, but I think it could get tweaked more on how the league is formatted to newer players as well. So these are my suggestions for the subforums
Title: Getting Started Subforum: Create a player Subforums player Retirement -> send somewhere else International Recruiting The IR is good there, keep it FAQ -> shit or get off the pot. Either rework it or delete it. Because all it will do is confuse new members Important Threads: Comprehensive Rookie Tutorial: Start Here! Video Rookie Guide What Birth Country and Position Should I Create? Update Scale How to Build a Sig -> this should be moved to graphics. I think when people first join its not how to make a sig. That can come later. So one less thing for a rookie to view Then whenever a rookie posts put it there yeah New Subforum: Rookie Season Stuff(not sure the name) -> A lot of the time I get asked the question by new members "what can I do", because there are like 3 different subforums people would have to navigate on the site to get to things. So having it all in 1 central place right inside "Create A Player" would help lower the confusion when new members create Subforums in that subforum: PGS(or the equivalent if SMJHL HO is reworking it) Prospects Unassigned Player Updates Threads in "Rookie Season Stuff" Your first PT Welcome to the leauge Survey Link to the bank area Link to the last Activity Check Training Camp When it goes out Guide to Twitter SHL Rulebook -> move to Community Final Look for the "Getting Started" part -Create a Player --International Recruitment Important Threads Comprehensive Rookie Tutorial: Start Here! General Discussion -"Official" Thread Forum: -"NHL team Forums: no one really uses this anymore. Also I could stick stuff like https://simulationhockey.com/games/shl/ and https://simulationhockey.com/games/smjhl/ etc at the top of when you enter the SHL Games, SMJHL Games, IIHF Games as the old links dont really work. Unless we get someone to go into each thread and make a big link at the top. I know haha SHL Historian Head thinks his area is perfect. But whoever made the SHL history how it is pretty much covered all the bases. The only thing that was needed is to update everything every season. Though if anyone has suggestions I am 100% open to ideas on what to add or change. And then at the end is the SHL and SMJHL teams which is fine I think for most threads just cleaning up and delete or moving to the trashcan threads that just haven been used in years to make the league look cleaner. Definitely would like to see newly created update threads moved into the create-a-player section. IMO, the most confusing thing for a new create is figuring out where to put their update thread.

Some very good suggestions there. I already cleaned up 'my part' of the forum a little and followed your suggestion to pin the link to the graphics discord right in the main graphics subforum (before it was under Resources).
