(Graded) Deep Dive #1 - All QCC Wins

Quebec City Citadels have 12 wins in 37 matches, lets take a look:

1st historical win came in 4th round against Anchorage Armada. Result was 5:1 with 5 different scorers (Goodman, Sombreros, Rieley, Roach and Bobov Petrov), with 1st goal in the game scored shorthanded by Sombreros. That was the only penalty in whole game (2 min for Rieley), Armada had 0 PIM. All of QCC players scored their 1st goal of the season! Team also had 5 assists. Big part of this win was goalie Danielson with save percentage 0.975 stopping 39 out of 40 shots.

For 2nd win we didn't had to wait for long time; in 6th round Quebec had beaten Vancouver 2:1. After trailing 0:1 QCC came back in 3rd period when Bobov Petrov and Gunnar scored their second goals within 1:40 minutes. This time second QCC goalie Smith had a great game stopping 34 out of 35 shots (.971 SV%)

Next game, 3rd win. This time in SO against Kelowna. QCC won 3:2. In second period Citadels took the lead 2:0 (Roach, Gunnar), but less then 2 minutes before the end of match Kelowna managed to tie game to 2:2 with PP goal by Berni while Boris Petrov was on bench serving his 2 min penalty. In shootout Roach missed while Gunnar and Beranek scored, with both Kelowna players missed. Again QCC goalie Danielson had massive game stopping 63 out of 65 sots (0.969 SV%)

4th and 5th win came on day 7. In 13th and 14th round QCC had beaten Maine Timber two times. 1st game ended up with big 7:2 victory, Rieley scored teams first ever hat trick, Goodman and Roach both scored 2 goals. Roach and Q. Next both had 3 assists in this game making this 5 points game for Roach. 2nd game against Maine ended with 5:3. In this game Maro, Maximov (both on PP) and Caspari (empty net) scored their first ever goals. Q. Next and Bobov Petrov each scored one as well. Boris Petrov will remember this game collecting 15 PIM and 7 hits in just 16 minutes.

After long 7 games loosing streak in 22nd round QCC got their 6th win. 3:2 shootout win against Anaheim. Roach and Beranek scored in regular period and then six round shootout Rieley scored game winning goal.

7th win came in 24th round against St. Louis. In this 4:3 win Roach got his 10th assist of season. Rieley scored 2, Roach and Caspari both added one goal for win. Worth mentioning are 3 assists by Gunnar and 7 hits by Boris Petrov.

In 26th round Citadels 5 games win streak began with record 10:2 win against another new team Nevada. That was first time that Citadels massively outshoot opponent (40:21). In 9th minute scoring was opened with 10th season goal by Roach. By the end of the game Roach and Sombreros scored hat tricks. Salming, Q. Next, Gunnar and Dolphin added one goal each. Boris Petrov and Maro both had 3 assists. Whole team had 17 assists. Again Boris Petrov had 7 hits.

27th round, 9th win. Quebec had beaten Maine 3rd time in a row (out of 4 games). In this 3:1 victory Goalie Smith shined with 0.971 SV%. Sombreros, Dolphin and Gunnar each scored one goal. Roach (94.7% 18 - 1) and Maro (90% 9 - 1) had awesome faceoff percentages.

10th win came in 28th round against Colorado. For this 4:3 victory Citadels only needed 13 shots leaving opponent goalie at 0.691 SV%. Salming, Rieley, Gunnar and Beranek scored, Cloudera Jr. had 2 assists. Again Boris Petrov had 7 hits.

4th win in a row: 5:3 against defending champions Carolina Kraken. Kevens scored his first ever goal, Cunningham, Maro, Gunnar and Maximov also scored one goal each. Danielson with 0.930 SV% and Boris Petrov with 7 hits did their job well.

Last, 12th win so far ended hot streak in 30th round. Anchorage was beaten 3:2. Roach first scored shorthanded (Boris Petrov was on bench), Sombreros and Roach again secured this win. This time goalie Smith had 0.955 SV% stopping 42 shots and Boris Petrov had record breaking 9 hits.

Quebec is currently in losing streak, losing 7 games in a row.
