The next award up is the Jeff Dar Award given to the forward who best exemplified two way play for their team in season fifty-seven. This award is a notoriously difficult one to evaluate for committee members thanks to the wide variety of stats that are considered including points, hits, shots blocked, give away to take away ratios, relative corsi numbers, penalty kill time, etc.

Here are the nominees:

Winnipeg Aurora Forward- Nick Brain (24 goals, 45 assists, 69 points, 114 hits, +11 rating, 37 take aways, 41 give aways, 110 shot blocks, 2:01 average on the penalty kill, 6.1 relative corsi in 66 games)

Atlanta Inferno Forward- Eko van Otter (32 goals, 34 assists, 66 points, 137 hits, +17 rating, 52 take aways, 35 give aways, 70 shot blocks, 2:36 average on the penalty kill, 7.5 relative corsi in 66 games)

Edmonton Blizzard Forward- Jon Forty-One (21 goals, 54 assists, 75 points, 114 hits, +43 rating, 40 take aways, 19 give aways, 46 shot blocks, 1:10 average on the penalty kill, 9.2 relative corsi in 66 games)

Eko van Otter @hotdog !!!! Eko van Otter averaged a point a game in the regular season, with 137 hits, and 70 blocked shots. Where van Otter shines is his 52 takeaways, second most in the league amongst forwards. His 52/35 takeaway to givaway ratio was also very impressive, as he controlled the puck more than he lost it. He racked up a +17 rating with a 7.5% relative corsi on a losing team, and also lead all forwards with 2.6 mins per game on the penalty kill.
