Kelowna are preparing for their playoff run by changing absolutely nothing from our regular season run. During the regular season, the Knights went on an absolute tear and dominated nearly everyone they could find in the league, so it goes without saying that keeping things simple and not overcomplicating the next few weeks is as good an idea as any. If there was anywhere the Knights may look to focus their attention in training during the days before their first playoff series, it would likely be on the defensive side of the puck; according to media game ratings, half of the team registered a Defensive Game Rating below 60 - with 1 player (Satoru Gojō) unable to muster more than 51 out of 100. Sure, they only allowed 157 goals in the regular season, good for 2nd in the league - however, given the possession they retained during that timeframe, it does not look as great as it does on the surface. So, if anywhere, teams should look for the Knights to get better in that department.
