A. I think this one is definitely close, i think Buffalo has the edge in top line fire power with guys like Bobby Sharp, Matt Kholin, Monkey D Luffy and Aron Hernadivic. where as Texas has a stronger depth wiht players like Edward Williams, Burlock Sulfurgold, Theo Kondos, and Lemo Pihl who all can show up and win Texas the game if the top line cant get it done

B. Its hard to say which team has a bigger chip on their shoulder, only two of the users were on the team back then. But there have been alot of players on Texas who have stayed with the team even through the rough years, guys like Andreas Kvalheim, Josef Kubinec, and Alexander Wachter all had to push through the seasons in the middle of Texas's rebuild. But on the other side reaching the finals the past 2 seasons and coming up just short mush be painful for the dominant Buffalo squad

C. i am a little biased on this one, give that i am on Texas and their Co-GM, but i do think i prefer Texas's. i'm not a huge fan of Buffalo's color combination of Green and Yellow, though i do really like their logo, especially on their away jersey's. But i have got to go with my own Texas Renegades branding, not to many sports teams go with the grey scale black and white style, and i think Texas pulls it off well

D. This is a good question, of the two i have only ever been to Dallas before, but even then i was pretty young and dont remember much. But i think it depends on the season and weather. I have heard buffalo can get pretty cold in the winter's and though i like winter i dont think i would want to be in Buffalo in their peak winter time. So i will say Dallas in the Winter and Buffalo in the summer

Hello and welcome to the battle royale between some of the weirdest battle you have ever seen. Today we have a fight between all SHL logos who recently came to life. Let’s just summarize all of them, we have the fire bird Inferno, an eagle, a buffalo, a hawk, a bull, a weird looking dude, a wolf, a forge, a barracuda and a tower in the one conference. In the other conference we have a dragon, a mafiosi, an ice wolf, a panther, a monarch, a ghost, a lion, a ship, a cowboy that reminds me of Toad and a nature phenomenon, the Aurora. As you can see, this is going to be a really weird fight.
The battle begins, and the first one to do nothing at all is the forge. Well, it can’t move. The aurora is moving, but can neither attack nor do anything especially effective. It has a huge advantage tho, as noone can fight it in any way, it just happens to be there. The ship with the one eye gets attacked by the fire bird, and burns down to ashes. The eagle and the hawk team up and watch the battle from atop the tower, who just stands there and doesn’t move. It’s weird to allow buildings to join the fight. The forge and tower stare at each other, but neither makes the first move. Maybe because they are objects and not meant to move, who knows. Cowboy Toad makes his guns ready, while the animals try to make some moves. Not early enough, as the fire bird continues it’s fire burst outstrike and burns like everything. Tower burns, Forge burns, animals burn, people burn, aurora watches, ghost tries to fight but can’t manifest itself, but also doesn’t burn. Standoff between Dragon, fire bird ghost and aurora. Dragon fights fire bird, it’s still a mighty mystical creature. Fire bird is a phoenix tho, so it’s reborn. It’s a stalemate, as they can’t get it to an end. Victory for Dragon and the fire bird, as they get most points for takeouts. Aurora and ghost stand in despair, was a tough one realizing they had no chance to do anything.

I am not sure if there really is any different answer than the obvious one. Of course I would eat Bean Beanman. He is the personification of beans, which should answer the whole question at once. Beans are such a nice meal, they are nutritious and taste great. Give me all the beans you can and I will be satisfied. The surroundings probably aren’t that happy about it, but I don’t care for it if I get my full dose of beans. Imagine eating the personification of beans, it just feels right thinking about it. Good I have this CW task finished now, as I probably have to open up a can of beans now.

Ambacas Cuddles is a big boy, he's like 6'7 or something I'm too lazy to check. He would mostly be stringy meat because he's absolutely yolked, but still, that's a lot of meat to last you a good while. Dubolk is also huge, in fact the whole barracuda team would be a nice little chomp chomp. Fitted I feel like would infect your brain and give you mad fitted disease, its probably what happened to him to be honest.

Other than that, most goalies creating nowadays are 6'7 400 pounds so those guys would be great. Or Duncan the Walrus, I've never eaten walrus but I assume it tastes like pork.

Welp, you waited until the last day to grind out your CW and the CC finals are longggggggg over by now. congrats to [TEAM], woo! Reflecting back on the series, who gets your vote for series MVP? Make the case why this player deserves it over any other.

Imma do SMJHL finals because fuck you. The Kelowna Knights dispatched the better Armada in 5 games in a surprising upset. All 3 people (including their GMs) celebrated wildly in their LR. Good times were had. Their MVP for the series is likely one of two NOLA prospects, Vlatislav Malik or Cian McFelter. Those guys were point per game in the postseason, dunking on the earlier rounds before grinding out wins in the finals against an elite Armada team. Those two were able to produce even with the top defensive forward the SHL has ever seen bearing down on them. That's right, Ville Kurri is who I'm talking about. He shuts down the best offenses night in and night out, however he was battling a porn addiction in the finals and that's an upper body injury or whatever so he was off his game. Kelowna's goalie sucks so he's not MVP so I'm going with Malik. Congrats on the cup, should probably do a rematch when Kurri is better.

The Purge is a concept where typically illegal things (e.g., robbery, murder) are legalized for one day. In an SHL-purge, there's a game day where everything typically illegal to do on the ice is now legal. No rules for sticks or pads, no penalties, no icing, etc.
What will your player do on the ice to make the most of this and gain a competitive advantage?

I will simply take the most egregious rules in the rule book and make sure I break all of them. Spearing to the face? Check. Enjoy pain opponents! Boarding plus charging plus illegal check to the head all in one? Enjoy your concussion opponents! Of course, you can't be ridiculously oppressive and aggressive for the entire game. Sometimes, you actually need to play a bit of defense rather than just trying to destroy people (especially as a defenseman like me). Breakaways are basically pointless now, I will do anything in my power to stop it. Obviously the most basic example is blatant tripping or slashing when someone ends up in a favourable position. But you can also employ some more random tactics like throwing the stick, which you rarely ever see in a game. And of course, there will not be any penalizing for blocking an empty net by any method possible, including throwing the stick! Good luck opponents.

If real life versions of all 18 SHL team logos were entered into a fight, which would come out victorious and why? Which would be the first eliminated?

Well, because I am simply one of the most biased people out there, I am going to have to pick the team I was drafted to - the Chicago Syndicate. I mean, it's simply just a bunch of crime dudes ready to strike and destroy all other opponents. Can any of the animals in other SHL logos handle a gun? I don't think so. Any of those stupid animals try to step to the Syndicate? Boom, get shot by a mob boss. Then, you also have some team logos which are simply abstract, and just an idea? Well, you can't really shoot an idea with a gun, but an idea or abstract concept definitely can't fight. Chalk that up as another win for the Chicago Syndicate. One of the only other human teams is the Montreal Patriotes, and I mean look at that logo. Do you really expect that dude to be able to fight? Another win for the Syndicate. Patriotes would be the first eliminated.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

Well, again since I am very biased, I am going to have to go with my SMJHL team - the Newfoundland Berserkers. We had a very strong campaign this season, and I definitely had hopes that we would push for a four star cup. Unfortunately, we were met by a very hot Kelowna team and we weren't up to the challenge. I am hoping that we can carry this momentum with us throughout the next season and that we will be even stronger. With this strong core that we have, and the addition of some new draftees, we should definitely make a push next season.

As an assistant captain, I would find it very difficult to consume any of my peers in the locker room. I would try consuming some of my own less valuable organs and appendages first. I mean, if it came down to it, I probably would not need absolutely ALL of my fingers. I could probably eat one or two fingers before I needed to dive into another one of my teammates. I could also probably get some of my lesser needed organs extracted and eat some of those. I don't think I have had my appendix removed, so you know, why not try one of those things?

2. Task
The SHL Purge sounds like a really interesting concept and I think that Zelma wouldn't be really pleased about it because she is not the largest player on the ice and being crashed into the boards head first isn't something that she would enjoy. But if we look at the possibilities of what this SHL Purge (without the killing part, hopefully) could give ZZ than probably she could use some equipment advantages. A good thing could be "turbo skates" - skates with additional boosters that could add to her speed. Of course in a game like this speed could also be a bad thing to have. Another thing could be to just have a robot play in place of Zelma who could easily just push everyone away and score or pass the puck with 100% accuracy. If we lived in a superhero world some things could come in handy like - force field to get out of all of those crazy goons, super speed and balance to navigate the playing field and 100% accuracy and concentration that could really come in handy to help the team win. In general I think SHL Purge could be a bad idea. [196 words]

3. Task
I don't really think that this could even be a contest. First of all lets look at those who could actually participate in a fight. The animal world - Dragons, Inferno (if we take the phoenix), Steelhawks, Blizzard with the polar fox (?), Wolfpack with the wolves, Barracuda, Pride with the Lion, Platoon eagles, Buffalo with their bisons, Rage with the bull and Panthers. If we look here than it is a pretty easy decision. A dragon should just destroy everyone else with no hesitation and without a problem. Maybe only problem could be the phoenix considering its whole - rising from the ashes thing. But I will go with the dragon. If we look further there are some teams without a legit mascot - Aurora and Argonauts. Maybe Argonauts cold just have a mad sailor who could be a good matchup for the rest of the human like mascots - Syndicate mafia dude, Texas ranger, Specters magician or what even is that and Patriotes. If we look here I would go with the magic Specters dude because that would seem like the closest matchup against the dragon. It could be a really good battle between the Dragons and Specters but nothing can really stand in the way of a dragon. If we look historically than Dragons should win because of the history of the team and how long they have been in this league. [230 words]

6. Task
Just like last year I am hoping to see some fireworks from Team Latvia. We are still a work in progress but the rebuild should start to give some actuall results soon. Maybe this is the off-season we finally prove everyone else wrong and get some good results. Still looking at our top players to contribute. The likes of Tendy, Dārziņš, Marner, Emerson, Claude should show their top tier talent and get some results out of the team even if the rest of the team is lacking. Considering that everyone is getting older and a bit more experienced I am positive that we can improve and bite some of the big teams in the ankles and steal some points and maybe even rise in the standings a bit. The main teams to worry about will of course be the Scandinaviens - Finland, Sweden, Norway alongside Czechia and USA. What I am waiting from the tournament is more games that end with surprising results, more games where the underdog comes up big and more surprises in general. Hopefully this tourney can even up the gap between the weaker teams and stronger ones. [191 words]

The Purge on Ice. The one time a season a player can get away with doing whatever they want on the ice. A lot of players like to take it to the limit. They throw down fisticuffs, they will try to spear other players in the eye. They are a bunch of rowdy hooligans and are bloodthirsty.

If anyone knows me, they know I am a lover not a fighter. I am going to go around and give everyone hugs. Oh... they can try to fight it, but no one can escape the iron like grip of Alimony Tony. I will try to hug as many opposing players as possible. This is a non-violent way to distract players on defense and hopefully set us up for a big play. I get punched quite a bit, but I just keep on hugging. If that makes me a monster than so, be it. I will never stop being a lovey dovey guy.

Hockey is Great

Task 2: SHL-Purge
During the SHL-purge, I will be donning my state of the art experimental exo-suit under my equipment. In addition to the boost in skating speed and acceleration – I will be an unmovable object on the ice – and more importantly, be able to move everyone else out of the way. I think this will come in handy for intense puck battles in front of the net, and bone crushing hits (literally). Offencive player grinding in the corner will leave the puck and dive out of the way when they hear the electric servos of my super suit steaming in. On the attack, I’ll be a blur on the ice, and able to move obstacles out of the way with ease. My shot should be much more powerful than ever and I might need to look into a stronger stick. I anticipate my shots to turn into more of a golf swing, as I create divots in the ice where I’ve teed up from.

Task 12: Challenge Cup Topics- d. long weekend hanging out in Dallas or Buffalo?
If I had to choose between in a long weekend in Dallas or Buffalo, the easy answer by a long shot is Dallas. I’ve been to Buffalo a few times, and other than delicious wings, it’s not too exciting. Sure, there is likely 1000 things I’ve never heard of, but the biggest one is to go see the Falls- which I don’t need to again for a while. Dallas, on the other hand, I’ve never been to. Reunion tower would be a great start to see the city from a nice vantage. Probably go see the JFK stuff, and that Trinity River trail looks nice. A stop by the American Airlines Centre would be cool along with seeing the stadium where the Dallas Cowboys play.

In all honesty, there are two players that I would definitely try to hunt for their tasty flesh.

The first one is Duncan the Walrus. To the common man, a walrus would not necessarily be the first thing you think of when you need sustenance in a dire situation. But trust me, this is the prime target in the SHL, far ahead of any kind of moose or cows. The amount of blubber you would harvest from its carcass alone is worth its pound of gold, allowing you to craft several life-saving tools, such as candles and whetstones - and it's super nutritious, too. And that's not even talking about the meat... tender, yet stringy - and can be eaten raw, if it truly is the end of the world.

The second one would be Vaseline Podcalzone, or "The Beeg Yoshi". I must acquire the Beeg Yoshi. I only have three words for you.
GIGANTIC.
YOSHI.
TENDIES.
(Think about it... birds came from dinosaurs... which means dinosaurs are giant chicken. It's just science, lads.)

Carving apart a full-sized Beeg Yoshi could provide sustenance to a small group of humans for a week. There is no way I'm not taking this opportunity to save other people. Plus, not only is his flesh like chicken... I hear he tastes like a folded pizza. Mythical tales, maybe, but interesting to test out nonetheless.

Are you kidding me? I am Niccolo Livius. 300 lbs of pure raw unaltered man. What will I do to gain a competitive advantage? I simply will exist. I am the competitive advantage. I can beat any man down in the league without a second thought being spared. I will walk up to the opposing teams goalie and end them. Then I will inhabit their crease waiting for the replacement. Meanwhile knocking out any defense-men who is foolish enough to try and reclaim this spot on the ice. I will become lord of the crease. My teammates will dump the puck and need not chase… for I will be there waiting for the players returning to collect it. I will break them. By the end of the game the area behind the net will simply be a collection of corpses. The score will reflect only the amount of dignity I feel the fallen deserve.

Well I have to say Buffalo here. The Yellow and Green has been a refreshing addition to the SHL since they came into the league. Texas’s branding is about as generic as you can get. Colours are over used in hockey and I assume they are no longer the true “Renegades” of the past…. So Buffalo.

Eating another SHL player? That would require me actually knowing another SHL player. In my reclusive inactive state I would be left by myself and would have to resort to self cannibalism. However I would have to justify why eating myself would be better than eating a so called “peer”. Honestly it is because I am without peers. I am a goon in a league full of weak kneed sissies who refuse to fight me. Alone on my pedestal above the rest of the league I am forced to slowly consume myself while they watch in horror from bellow me.

I've got to say Vancouver. They took us through a grueling 7 game series last season, and made us work hard again this season. They're definitely a strong team that's going to be making a legitimate push over the next few months. They've got some studs in Boyle and Saint-Michel, although I'm not sure if any of them are moving up to the show at the end of the season. Part of me is a little bit sad I won't be in the juniors to play against them anymore! Always a fun time, and I wish them nothing but success moving forward. (Maybe not too much success against the Knights).

Jack Black has been the proud celebrity face of the Kelowna Knights for the last several years. At first, management didn't even realize it was him! He would show up to Prospera Place shirtless wearing a Knight helmet. He'd paint his chest and belly with the Knights colors and wave a foam sword around. He brings an energy to the crowd that is very noticeable. On our cup run he would have fake battles with effigies of the opposing teams. My personal favorite was his duel with the boat, at one point he tried to claim it as a mount to ride into battle in future conquests. He's a gem.

Alright, now we're cooking. I feel like it would start with the Chicago Syndicates and Montreal Patriotes having a heated argument. Chicago is holding back the New England Wolfpack that is trying to lunge forward. Montreal is scratching their big Manhattan Rage Bull. Judging silently from above is The Hamilton Steelhawks, Baltimore Platoon, Atlanta Inferno, and Calgary Dragons. The battlefield is illuminated with a green hue from the Winnipeg Aurora. The Seattle Argonauts are confused and lost in the middle of the ocean. The Renegades are off to the side trying to swindle the San Fransisco Pride, who are mid conversation with the Edmonton Blizzard. As the Toronto North Stars gleam brilliantly in the sky, the Forge arrive and melt literally everyone on the ground. The Dragons and Inferno incinerate everything in the air, and fly off into the mountains entwined in a fiery embrace. (Will pay top dollar for an illustration of this btw, DM me) The Argonauts are still lost, somebody help them.

Switzerland looks like a real threat again this season. They came out strong last season, but it was unclear if they were overperforming or if they were the real deal. Early returns indicate the latter. Canada and the USA will be returning powerhouses, as well as the perennially above average Great Britain squad. Norway could also make a big splash this season, especially if Team Canada doesn’t find a higher gear.

The usual suspects will perform well. Lane, Sharp, Morgan will all put up tons of points. Team GB’s Luca Del Veccio will likely be a shining star on their roster. Team Latvia has some very exciting young skaters like Zebulon Leavitt and Mats Marner who will be a ton of fun to watch, when the team doesn’t make it out of groups. Team Switzerland’s top unit of van der Heijden - Jones - Hartmann has some of the most dynamic play potential in the entire tournament.

Task 12

Buffalo is clearly the larger offensive threat. Luffy is still a top tier scoring talent, Hernandivic had a breakout season, and Wang is one of the top offensive defensemen in the entire league. Texas’s strengths lie elsewhere, and there’s nothing wrong with that. But in terms of offense, Buffalo was one of the strongest teams in round 3 and will stay that way going into finals.

b. (89/50)
Buffalo clearly has the biggest chip. They are a part of the reign of terror in the great lakes, but haven’t taken home a championship in five seasons. The Stampede need a statement win to prove they’re still part of the S tier in the Great Lakes, and not down at Toronto’s level a step behind Chicago and Hamilton. Texas has a lot to play for as the first Western Conference team in finals since S55, but I wouldn’t call it a “chip” in the same way as Buffalo.

c. (75/50)
Easily Buffalo’s. The green and gold look great with tons of contrast, the primary mark reads at a distance, the name is fun while still being threatening. It’s a great combination. Texas’s branding is a bit one note, a bit on the nose. There just isn’t a unique pop in the uniforms or primary branding for the team, and their primary mark is a bit too fine-detailed to read from the top of the stands.

d. (67/50)
Oh the answer here is quite clearly Dallas. There’s tons of good food, sights to see, and really fun experiences to have in a huge city like Dallas. The weather will be nice and warm, barbecue and tacos are on every street corner, and every sporting event in the city is a blast. Contrasted with Buffalo--cold, remote, only really known for hockey...I’ll take Texas any day.

My series MVP is an outside the box pick--Texas's Lemo Pihl. He wasn't the highest scoring player on the team, nor the most impactful in games 3 through 5. But what he does have are crucial game winning goals in games 1 and 2, which were key to Texas’s early momentum in the series. Without the rookie putting up those critical game winning goals, Buffalo has very real chances to hang onto late tie games and force goalie battles in overtime--exactly the kinds of games that Elizabeth Doyle has proven she can steal. Kvalheim and Wachter put together larger numbers across the series, but the impact of Pihl’s contributions make him the MVP in my eyes.

As always, the playoff format for FHM will always make this question easy. For the SHL, I would be surprised if anyone answered anything but the Hamilton Steelhawks. They're one of the top 3 TPE teams in the league, have won half of the Challenge cups in the FHM, and made two of the other finals. Not to mention they were the best team in the league this season by 10 points, and had the best goal differential by 30 goals. They ran into the same red-hot Kavanagh as Buffalo did, and they were easily the best team not in the finals. For the J, I hope I don't sound too biased by saying NL. We were the #2 seed in the playoffs (though admittedly were 3rd in the league in points), but had the 2nd best goal differential and were arguably the best defensive team in the league, with a league-low 151 goals against. But sadly due to FHM one of us or KEL was going to be left out, and KEL was too strong for NL to move on.

I think picking Dallas here is going to be the popular answer considering it's Buffalo, but I've also spent far too much time in upstate NY for an entire lifetime, and I've never been to Texas. I don't know if there's anything specific I would be looking forward to, but a quick google search later I would say I'd visit the aquarium, natural science museum, and I would probably wouldn't miss up the opportunity to experience an NFL game at the impressive AT&T stadium, despite having no strong opinions on the cowboys one way or the other.

Welp, you waited until the last day to grind out your CW and the CC finals are longggggggg over by now. congrats to [TEAM], woo! Reflecting back on the series, who gets your vote for series MVP? Make the case why this player deserves it over any other.

The vote for series MVP is a relatively tough one for me, and realistically I could see a few people on TEX getting the award. I think the conversation has to start with Kavanagh in net for the Renegades. He put up an almost impossible 0.940 save percentage during the finals, and let in nearly half the amount of goals as his counterpart Doyle did. Doyle did have to face slightly more shots per game than him, but his play was such a huge difference maker in the series. There's also a tough choice among TEX forwards that I could also see getting this away. Watcher had a (tied for) series high of 3 goals and 6 points, as well as approximately 4.7 GF/60. Kvalheim continued his elite two-way play he's been known for throughout his career, with a series high 21 SOG, 17 hits, and an impression 55 CF% with a 1.7 GA/60.

The Purge is a concept where typically illegal things (e.g., robbery, murder) are legalized for one day. In an SHL-purge, there's a game day where everything typically illegal to do on the ice is now legal. No rules for sticks or pads, no penalties, no icing, etc. What will your player do on the ice to make the most of this and gain a competitive advantage?

Big Boss would buy extremely sharp spikes and attach them to his stick. He would skate around the ice slashing opponents sticks, and breaking them in half. He could also threaten to slash people’s arms with the spikes, but wouldn’t actually follow through with it. Big Boss would also skate towards the opponent’s net and cut the crossbar in half. He would then place one half of the net in one corner, and the other half in the other corner, so technically the net is the width of the whole ice. Another illegal thing Big Boss would do is attach rocket launchers to the back of his skates. This could be a problem because he would not have control over his speed, but as long as he crashes into an opposing player, they will feel the force of the hit as opposed to him. Overall, I think Big Boss would really go all out and make the most of this opportunity.

Which SHL or SMJHL team was the best team to not make the finals this season and why?

The Quebec City Citadelles were definitely the best team to not make the finals. Led by star players Igor Petrov and Mew Two, the defending champions are a strong force. They did lose quite a few players this past season because they were called up to the SHL, but a strong draft allowed them to pick up many rookies who made an immediate impact. QCC lost in the semi finals this year, which surprised some people who thought that they would be eliminated by St. Louis. I think QCC has amazing potential to the win the cup next year, as their young players will have had time to adjust to the league and start producing at an even higher rate.

To some, an interesting part of sports leagues is following celebrity fans (like Jack with the Lakers or 50 Cent with the Knicks last week) - who would be some relevant SHL celebrity fans? Which well-known celebrities would be superfans of which SHL teams?

I think Drake would be a superfan of the Toronto North Stars. As many people know, Drake is a very prominent fan of the Toronto Raptors, and supported them throughout their 2019 title run. During these games, Drake was the loudest member in the front row, and some players even complained that he was causing a distraction to the game. Toronto fans love him though, as his laughing and yelling at opposing players got them out of their rhythm. I think Drake would love the North Stars because they’re from Toronto, and I bet he would buy seats directly behind the away team’s bench.

I would say the winner of an 18 SHL team logo battle royal, the winner would have to be the Calgary Dragon. It's really plain and simple logic, it's a mother freaking dragon man. The thing can usually pick off any of the other logos and then just fly away when it wants to. I think the inferno / phoenix depending on it's regenerative power (if it has any) would either be the only other challenger / would come in second but again that depends on the mythical powers of the phoenix. As for who would come last, I think the the Monarchs would come last because they are just human so they would die so fucking fast. (Although how does the north stars or auroras work?) I think some other challengers for last could include the Platoon, and the wolfpack just because they are rather small so I think they would become easy targets for the bigger animals / creatures.

I think this is probably the easiest question here. The best SHL team to not make the finals this season are obviously the Hamilton Steelhawks. The Hamilton Steelhawks topped the league this season and did it in very dominate fashion. They were also at one point up 3-2 on the eventual champions, which is unfortunately better than the other finalist, Buffalo Stampede did. I think we all know that the Steelhawks are always gonna be a dominate force in the regular season and the post season. They are always favorites to make it to that challenge cup final so it was honestly surprising for me to see them not be there.

I'm not sure I would actually enjoy eating a human but if I had to eat a human, I'm sure Zombiewolf / Jaska Seppala would be the tastiest human I could possibly eat. That being said, yeah Julio would def be the most likely person I would want to eat because they are a cow.

Task 1:

Best Sim League

Task 3:

This is a weird battle considering what we are dealing with. Gangsters, Forgers, Mounties, Animals, major political officials and the cosmos itself. The battle would probably down between the north stars and the aurora. None of the other 16 teams have a way to even hurt these two teams… well maybe the Philadelphia Forgers via global warming but that would sooner eliminate themselves with heating the planet up. Its a tricky fight but I think the Aurora and North Stars battle each other to a stalemate. The first team to go is definitely the monarchs, because the moment that all out war breaks out, they will be immediately murdered because they don’t have their armies or servants backing them up. The monarch itself cannot win a war, he can only lead it. So while Winnipeg and Toronto live on, Minnesota collapses first which is how the battle would play out in my mind

Task 12:

12.1) Its a tight battle for offense but Buffalo takes it. They are one of only two teams score more than 300 goals this season (The other being Hamilton) and just have a great offensive structure on their team. I truly believe that they have the fire power to make it work in the finals.

12.2) Texas absolutely has the edge when it comes to the chip on their shoulder. They have waited more than 20 years to get back to this point while Buffalo has had multiple cups and finals appearances in that time. Being a bridesmaid is not what we aspire to be and thus, they have the edge here in that department.

12.3) I prefer the Renegades branding but only just. Neither are sporting the best logo in the league (that honor goes to Winnipeg) but the roughrider/outlaw style of Texas is much better than Buffalo. It can be improved though. I would want more colours than just grey and black and I would also recommend you make the hockey sticks more visible.

12.4) Well this one is easy. Dallas all the way. While yes it would probably be immensely hot and humid meaning you have to drink a lot of water and stand under air conditioning, I would prefer that than having to shovel snow off the road just to make progress like I would in Buffalo. There’s a reason why one of the most famous images in buffalo is the church sign saying “Whoever prayed for snow, stop.”
