Looking at this build, I’d be a super star offensive threat, with one massive downside: I have absolutely no ability to control the puck. Basically, I can do everything I need to do exceptionally well, but everything would have to be done in a split second so I don’t have to hold onto the puck at all. I can make great one touch passes, be a threat in front of the net, and have a deadly one-timer. Just don’t make me hold on to the puck. At other ends of the ice, I’d be unbelievably strong and very good defensively, which would really make me a threat at both ends of the ice. I could just annihilate people with hits and hard play along the boards. I would also somehow work up the courage to actually play tough, because that bravery is lacking big time. I would also have to figure out what to do with the puck once it came loose… Unfortunately, with these changes, I don’t believe I’d be a lock for the Hall of Fame. I think the tools are there to be an offensive powerhouse, but whether or not I can capitalize with the abysmal puckhandling ability remains to be seen. My usage would have to be tremendously specific to make me succeed, or else I would be a turnover machine (not that I don’t already give up the puck enough). |
