Let's take a deep dive into the team 2 wins away from Clinching top spot.

Captain and Defenseman of the Newfoundland power squad is Mikko Rashford with 62 points in offensive production. Not so much the defensive guru that certain players have, but definitely has pitched in with a 1.5 Takeaway to giveaway ratio. 9 Blocks and 30 hits. 72.4 CF% and a Rel CF% of +0.4. He does hold his own weight for the Newfoundland powerhouse.

Alternate Captain Winger Tommy Tightpants. Most aggressive forward on the team. Tommy has shown himself to do what is needed on both ends of the ice. 44 points in 56 games including 20 goals. Unfortunately not the greatest on the giveaway to takeway ratios but has put up a solid 74.4 CF% with a rel CF% +3.3

Alternate Captain Defenseman Jay O'Neil with 3 goals and 16 assists for 19 points. His defensive abilities makes up for his falling behind pace offensively like Rashford. 94 hits and 69 Blocked shots overall. He sets the defensive standard for this powerhouse roster.

Centers

Alexander Mackenzie, Pope Coswi, Valters Denisova, AlexaDemie MiNads-SLATT as the center core has done very well with Mackenzie leading the league in points being a tape to tape stud all year long. Coswi has been much of the same with 38 assists and 19 goals himself but pitching in 42 blocked shots and over 100 hits. Denisova has run a very well put together a solid game on both ends, not elite but above average. Slatt has shown good potential to be a future top 6 for Newfoundland. Scoring production and defensive production has lack with limited ice time, but has shown he can be a star in the making.

Wingers

Emeril Lagrasse, Jeff Larsson, Maxwell King, SD Core, Buck Keithley, AJ Williams, Devin Williams II, and Jericho Styles

6 of the 8 Wingers have 30+ points including Lagrasse with 36 goals. The MVP candidate has been a workhorse on offense, where he has been a proficient offensive shot. King and Core make the defensive play solid. Showing 30 plus blocked shots each this season 64 and 47 points respectively have shown offensive production that makes this masterpiece offensive powerhouse shred through defenses.

Defense

Rand al'Thor, Jannik Nordstern, Luca Hunziker, Merlin Metzler making up the rest of the defense. al'Thor shows his offensive prowess with 60 points, but gives the puck up a lot which is a downfall. His defense is not all there either, but helps the offensive powerhouse keep consistent. Hunziker has the capability to be a solid offensive threat showing signs in a very sheltered ice time. He is very physical, but needs to develop a defensive game. Merlin quite the opposite of Hunziker. 80 blocked shots and 97 hits. He is capable of being one of the great defensive players of this league. But working on a offensive game is still needed.

Goaltending

Jonas Johansson has shown he can become one of the best SHL goaltenders of this generation with a consistent showing 1.94 GAA and a .901% with 33 wins in 41 games. He's pushing for another four star before he moves up to the SHL.

Nina Tucker rookie? I think not Tucker as pretty much every stat up and down the board that isn't the Wins column. 1.23 GAA and a .933% with only losing 1 game out of 16. Nina Tucker is going to be the future of SHL.
