Hello everyone,

There has been some turnover at the Awards Committee lately, with some seasoned members wanting to take a break and others not being able to be as active as they'd want anymore. As a result of that, we are looking for a complete re-structuring of the Committee instead of just adding a new member or two and therefore will be hiring a new Committee of about 5-7 members, depending on the number of applications. Most important of all, we are looking for as many fresh ideas and perspectives as possible and hope to bring in members who are interested in not just sending a ballot every season, but also want to participate in the discussion process that happens beforehand and enjoy talking about players and stats, giving controversial takes if need be and being able to back up their opinions with facts.

As a member of this Committee, you get to participate in the SHL's Awards selection process where we determine who are the best players and users in the league that we honor with various Awards in the off-season. You do not need to be an expert on league history or on statistics, all that can be learned on the job, but active participation in the discussions is expected as is punctuality when it comes to submitting your ballots.

The pay is 2.5M per season plus the chance to earn bonuses from Hosting the Awards Show or writing featured articles on our nominees.
