S65 IIHF Tournament
As the SHL playoffs have come to an end we are excited to announce the next IIHF Tournament commencing on the 29th of June! The tournament will start with 2 days of pre-season games where each Federation will test out their players followed by the start of the Round Robin later that same week. As always you can find the event dates of the tournament in the SHL Calendar.

As part of the announcement of this tournament, the IIHF is also proud to announce a new IIHF logo. I have for a long time thought that the IIHF needs a logo to call their own instead of using the "real" IIHF logo concepts. Paying homage to the SHL logo concept and colors, the IIHF now also has an own logo to call their own with the added functionality of being adjustable to each tournament.

The main IIHF logo:

A "white-out" alternative (sorry light mode users):

As an example of the added functionality of the logo, the S65 IIHF Tournament will be hosted in Salzburg, Austria, resulting in the following tournament logo:

All IIHF games are streamed on the IIHF Youtube page.

Tournament Events
During the course of the tournament, there will be some events taking place. First of all @Chevy has been hard at work revitalizing the IIHF Fantasy and you are able to participate in that via a separate post that will be published early next week.

Between July 1st and 10th there will also be an IIHF Double Media Period in which you can earn double the media payout for a media piece relating to the IIHF. As per the latest update, the Career tracker for skaters in the SHL Analytics app now includes data for the IIHF up until the S64 season. For instance Tony Pepperoni's (@Sean) record of 215 points in an IIHF career or Ola Wagstrom (@StamkosFan) being the only player with more than 100 goals, would be a great starting point for any media piece about. Work is being done do speed up the data gathering part of the app.

On top of the double media, there will also be a Double Graphics week between July 4th and 10th. Any Graphics submission relating to the IIHF (including WJC) will be given double the payout. Please make sure to mark your submission threads or all eligible graphics with '2x IIHF' to get the bonus.
