WHO ARE THESE TASKS FOR? S68 SMJHL Rookies (S69 SHL Draftees, AKA anyone with "[S69]" next to their player name)

TO CLAIM TASKS: Make a post in this thread and link each task you completed (please keep all claims you are making at the same time in a single post). Afterward, a Rookie Task Grader will come by and grade each task to verify if the task is complete and award site money.

Once a Rookie Task grader has edited your post (you will be notified via a ping on the site), please create a separate post in the thread for any additional tasks completed, as well as link any previous claims you have made.

PAYOUT:
- $1,000,000 per task completed

To claim this task, find a TPE claim where your name is listed with a TPE value next to your name. Then, right click on the post number in the top right corner of the post, then choose "Copy link address." Afterward, paste the link in your claim post.

5. Create a graphic and post in the weekly submissions forum of the graphics thread found HERE

- Please put that this graphic is a "Rookie Task Graphic" in the title of the thread. Every graphic that is submitted as a rookie task graphic will receive a base payout equivalent to a grade of .5 / 5 on the graphics grading scale for 125k. With the 1M received for doing this task we hope this mitigates that payout and also makes things much easier on the graphics team. By labeling it a "Rookie Task Graphic" as well, you will not use your 1st-time graphic bonus.

NOTE: If you do not label the graphic with "Rookie Task Graphic," then your post will be submitted to normal grading guidelines and will use up your 1st-time graphic bonus.

    - As recreates can not complete the rookie survey we simply ask them to link a player page from a past player for this task instead

Grading will be done when it's best available to the Rookie Tasks Graders, so please be patient if it's not done right away.

Remember, rookie tasks are available to a user only once during their lifetime on the site, not once per player.

The nice thing about being one of the earlier creates is you can watch the entirety of playoffs because let's be real, it is the fun part of the season. As I write this, the Maine Timber are meeting with the Quebec City Citadelles in the Four Star Cup Finals, where the series was tied to two a piece. It's about as good as you can get as a casual viewer, with the series coming down to a best of three, the Citadelles with home ice. 

The Timber started the game off quickly, with a shorthanded goal coming from Lorian, who was second in the league in goals this season. They kept the league for a bit, only giving it up slightly at the beginning of the second period, but Barca was able to put the Timber ahead once again just a minute later. The Timber continued to look good, even pinning the Citadelles in a tough cycle of icings, and went into the second period carrying a 2-1 lead. Thompson was able to tie it up once again for the Citadelles, but it still appeared as if Maine was having the stronger game, and this led to a late penalty to St. Clair. It seemed like this was Maine's game to lose at this point, and, well, they did just that. Kove scored a crucial shorthanded goal with a minute left, and Bordeleau with another shorty with the empty net secured the game for the Citadelles. They now head into Maine for game 6, where the Timber will fight to survive.

7. The S67 Finals sees the Manhattan Rage take on the Seattle Argonauts in the final series. The series was 2-2 going into the game 5 I watched which made it a pivotal game to take the series within one more victory to win. The first period was back and forth with Manhattan nearly scoring on a power play and seattle getting a few decent close range chances, and it looked like it would end in a stalemate before Seattle put one in with a couple minutes left. The second period included a section of 4v4 hockey which was quite interesting, but ultimately Seattle couldn't build on the lead and the Rage ended up tying up the game. In the third period, they were able to carry that momentum and score two more goals to secure the game 5 victory and a 3-2 series lead. Three different players scored for the Rage showing some versatility in their attack. (157 words)
