S68 mPT #3: Audience Participation Due: December 11th @ 11:59 PM (PST)
#1

Around the holidays many teams have a special home game where the fans can bring, for example, a teddy bear to be thrown on the ice when the home team scores their first goal. The bears are then collected and donated to a toy drive or other such charity. This season we're asking the same of your team, except we don't want it to be teddy bears!
Your task: Tell me what you ask your team's fans to bring to the rink to be tossed onto the ice for charitable purposes!

The Seattle Argonauts will probably go for something simple, like a teddy bear toss to be donated to a children's charity, or maybe something a bit more unconventional in a non-perishable foods toss, but there's the off chance that all those cans of tuna will dent the ice.

For Deep Sea Night the Vancouver Whalers ask that fans bring stuffed aquatic creatures to throw onto the ice during the second intermission for a nice, fun, on topic event. And if anyone is caught throwing a stuffed animal that is not aquatic, then they will be issued a lifetime ban from home games. Hope everyone has a good night!

First I figured stuffed owls was the obvious choice, but that's really just teddy bears with a different face. Instead, QCC would opt for scarves. It gets cold in the winter, and scarves be cozy AND (possibly) fashionable. Also, watching everyone try and hurl them onto the ice would be amusing.

When people come to watch the Stampede play, it is customary to bring along a freshly butchered piece of buffalo meat to throw onto the ice. The pause to clean up the blood can delay the game a little but no one seems to mind

Octopuses. Because we're the Kraken, duh. Though we'd also accept four leaf clovers for some luck. Since our PDO is pretty cursed, either works at this point.

The Winnipeg Aurora don't screw around when it comes to their charity events. The team recommends fans throw their car keys onto the ice and those are collected and the cars auctioned off for charity. Teddy bears are nice too though.

For charity this season, the Baltimore Platoon have asked it's fans to throw down various winter clothes for when the team scores thier first goal. It's rough this time of year for those without coats and truly warm clothes, so hopefully this will help a lot of those families.

Dragons fans this season are being asked to bring a nice juicy meatball to the arena to toss onto the ice at intermission. The meatballs will be collected and made into the world's biggest meatball parm sandwich to be encased in resin and turned into a statue to be erected outside the Big Parm.

Quebec City fans are some of the best fans in the leagues. Each fan is encouraged to bring an owl plushie to be donated to the children's hospital and every year the game is sold out. The best part is our stadium's capacity is 18,259 seats and yet we routinely have twice that plushies that get donated.

Well, one of Seattle's great landmarks is obviously Pike Place Fish Market, so what better a way to piss off arena security *and* feed the homeless than throwing a bunch of fish onto the ice? After the final horn blows and the fish have flown, we gather them up and then have a big fish fry to help feed Seattle's homeless.

Bean's Bean Foundation is a yearly event in Buffalo - at this event fans will toss cans of beans onto the ice (very carefully) to go to the foundation
