Game !: The Whalers won their first game against the Great Falls Grizzlies by an impressive six to two score.. Klaes Ashford was the start of the show for Vancouver as he notched one goal and two assists in the game.Rookie Colt Fox also helped the Whalers blow out the Grizzlies with one goal and one assist himself. The Grizzlies had an early lead on a Andren Akerson goal but they couldn’t hold on to it for very long as Jeff Lewis tied the game in the first period. The second period was all Whalers as Larry Johnson The Third, Klaes Ashford, Bellamy Blaked all scored to give Vancouver the lead at the break. THe whalers would never relinquish the lead and left the Grizzlies with a bit of egg on their face.

Game 2: Vancouver’s second game was an important one as they faced defending champions The Newfoundland Berserkers. They were unable to get the win but did the Berserkers to the limit going to overtime with them. Heem Team scored the first goal of the first period, giving the Berserkers  a head start against the  Whalers.Chris Walsh also scored in a second to increase Newfoundland’s lead to two. The Whalers wouldn’t take this lying down as Klaes Ashford scored on a power play to cut the lead to one. Bellamy Blake then discord in the third and final period to get used to overtime. Where Jacob Fournier gave the Berserkers the win.

Game 3:  Game 3 was a replica of the second game with the Whalers going down in overtime after a hard fought battle.  The first period was a banger with five goals. Two by the Whalers ( Bellamy Blake, Thomas Liebold.) and three by the Scarecrows (David Doug, Peter Sandstorm x2.) Dee Fence put one in the back of the net only nineteen seconds into the second period to give St. Louis a four to two goal advantage. Vancouver’s Scott Seitz responded with a goal of his own to cut the lead to one.The third period was all Whalers however as both Klaes Ashford and Johnny FourStar scored to tie the game at five to five. The Whalers however would collapse in overtime giving up a goal to Sunrise van de Schubbekutteveen just nineteen seconds into overtime.

Game 4: Not a lot to say about this game, it was a six to two beatdown in favor of  The Carolina Kraken. Leon Rizzton and Scott Seitz were the only two players to score a goal for Vancouver, Shoutout to Sith Happens the  Kraken goalie as he put an impressive .950 save  percentage in this. Game.

Game $:The Whalers bounced back with an impressive shootout win in their next game against the Maine Timber. Once again the Whalers gave up the first goal which is an unhealthy part of their game that needs to be rectified immediately. William Tree scores first for the trees which makes one to nothing in favor of Maine at the end of the first period.Damien Hirano increased the timbers lead to two nothing with a goal at 13:47 of the  second period.  The Whalers tied the game up after a Thomas  Liebold goal followed by a Jeff Lewis goal to tie it at two at the end of the second period. Klaes Ashford then gave Vancouver the lead  for the first time all game. Unfortunately that woke up theTimbers offense and Peter Tingle and Shooting Blanks both pushed goals past the goaltender to take the lead back four to three. Inactive Forever then came up with a clutch to tie up at four a piece and send the game into overtime where The Whalers won on a shootout.
