The Vancouver Whalers have been taking playoffs very seriously, everyday the team has been meeting doing something or other.

On Monday, the team had a group workout session, where they primarily focused on explosiveness while skating, to make sure they can always be the first ones to the puck. On Tuesday the team had a practice to really focus in on the Xs and Os. Ensuring they know when and where their teammates will be to hit them with the pass to ensure space to shoot. On Wednesday it's a break from fitness, but that doesnt mean the team isnt working hard still. That's the day the team watches tape from previous games, to see defensive breakdowns from a new angle, and to observe some situations where they should have shot instead of pass and vice versa. As well as doing all this work the team gets together everyday to watch round 1 of the playoffs, see what certain teams are doing well. also scouting out their future opponents. The Whalers are prepared for playoffs.

Unfortunately, the Great Falls Grizzlies did not make the playoffs this season. In fact, they came in last place, with 41 points. Heading into the offseason, RIP THUNDERDOME 2013-2023 and the Great Falls Grizzlies have a lot to work on if they want to make it back into the playoffs next season. Great Falls will get a top pick in the draft, and combined with the young defensive core that is already present, the Grizzlies can hopefully bounce back. RIP THUNDERDOME 2013-2023 did not have the greatest season, scoring just 7 points in 24 games and earning a -12 rating. Despite this, RIP THUNDERDOME 2013-2023 had the 8th highest Game Rating on the team, so he was definitely doing his part as a midseason signing rookie. In the offseason, RIP THUNDERDOME 2013-2023 will work on his defensive awareness and his passing abilities to better effect the game on both ends of the ice.
