Hey y'all!

This is a quick update on the simming schedule for the SMJHL Playoffs. Due to most of our team having major life events, we're going to move the SMJHL to the intermission format from last season from Round 2 Games 3 and 4 forward. Game 2 will be played out as scheduled later tonight. The SHL format will not change at this time. This is not currently expected to affect the WJC, IIHF, or draft schedules.

For those that were not aware last season, the intermission format combines games from 2 streams down to 1 stream with a short break for line swaps in between. The first set of games of the stream would play, then there would be a file drop, intermission break, re-import, and then the second set of games. Last season, the intermission was 20 minutes, this time we're going to try 15 minutes. 
The biggest downside is that it means less daytime ET availability, which means fewer Euro-friendly streams. Unfortunately, our team mostly works during the day in UTC-5 and do not ordinarily have that availability. We've been lucky to make it work as far as we have this season. The upside to this move is that we'll be able to make the sims work with a relative skeleton crew.

The schedule is still forming, but we're optimistic that it shouldn't change too much for the rest of this week. The times may change subject to availability.

Round 3 Games 3 & 4 - Friday, July 7th at 2:00 PM
Round 3 Games 5, 6, & 7 - Saturday, July 8th at 9:00 PM

Finals Games 1 & 2 - Monday, July 10th at 6:00 PM
Finals Games 3 & 4 - Tuesday, July 11th at 6:00 PM
Finals Games 5, 6, & 7 - Wednesday, July 12th, Time TBD
