The newest video game on the scene is SHL73 and they are in the process of designing your player right now! The developers have given you the freedom to give any player a stat or attribute change, and if you really wish, the option to sabotage someone else. What hidden ability is your player going to develop?

Peanut will be given a higher than average checking ability.  As he knows what it is like to have been controlled by a puppet master, he wants the ability to help dictate what is happening when he is on the ice.  Whether it is lulling the opposition into thinking they have the better advantage, or controlling the puck as if it were a marionette.

Ace would definitely get at least a plus ten to chirping and would be able to flow a steady stream of insults at the opponents bench.

The flesh and blood Simo cares not for such concepts as "accuracy" or "finesse", but he understands why others do. When given the chance, his digital analogue will have a shot as delicate and precise as a bonsai tree.

Fenix would get the ability to start on fire if given the option for any ability. From the bird that kind of shares his name, the phoenix, being able to start on fire would make it so he can use his speed to break away from opponents, and then melt the ice so they couldn’t catch up to him. People would also be less likely to check him

Defensive and Offensive positioning - never would you curse about Mikkel pinching too early or late or being caught on a break away - he would always be in the right spot no matter what. The definition of consistent. Now if he could always turn something useful from that would remain to be seen but you know he would always be in the right spot.

All Goalies on the Detroit Falcons are unable to cover the puck. They have no puck covering skill what-so-ever. If they catch the puck they throw it behind them. They are afraid of holding the puck, touching the puck, and will actively avoid the puck.

If Juan has the choice he is nuking the stats of Nevada Battleborns firstline. Everytime Quebec plays Nevada it seems the score 5+ goals on us and we can never beat them.

He would also request his special ability be stripping pucks from the opposition.

Langston Hardison-Laurent would like the ability to hit his opponents through the glass a la NHL HItz, where play is not stopped and the Malamutes would have a man advantage for a period of time as the other player struggles to get back in the rink.

I would give Emil Karlsson the hidden ability to be able to get every single shot he takes to go on the goal with undiminishing power, no matter how tough the angle or how far away from the goal he might be. This would inevitably lead to great gameplay with a load of shots taken from inside his own zone forcing the goalkeeper to pull off an unbelievably tough save or give up a goal.

Dag-Otto will give every other center in the game a face-off attribute level of 1. Because Dag-Otto decides his self-worth completely based on his face-off win rate. And this way he'll always feel good when playing the game.

My player is definitely going to inflate his defensive read. Imotekh's ego comes from his brilliant strategies employed amongst the different campaigns he's waged. Once a regular overlord, he would empower his team by ensuring everything coming onto their half of the ice is shut down as soon as possible.

Tom Willander will have a stick blade that should be illegal but isn't. It will make knuckleball pucks look tame by comparison, and goaltenders will be so dizzy from watching the puck curve and spin that they can't save the shot at all.

Marek Carda would like to have unlimited stamina so that he can play the entire game for the Falcons without any missteps. This would allow all other skills to stay sharp throughout and inevitably lead to an uptick in all scoring stat categories as the opponents tire. He would be unyielding and nobody would be able to keep up. Elimination game? Overtime? No problems, man.

Dwayne Swanson would definitely be maxing out his accuracy. Could you imagine the goals that would be made and the position it would put the team in if he never ended up never missing shot
