Alright so firstly we will go trough yukons regular season stuff so yukon finished 6th in the league behind newfounland and above achorage in their confrence they finished 5th and in their division they were 2nd behind maine
yukon also got in 66 games 35 wins 26 losses and 5 OT wins making it 75 points yukons goal diffrence was also in the positive with +25 with also yukons player some of them went to be pretty good with langston having the most goals in the Js with 55 and 2nd most points with 95 total points langston also had the third most shots and 4th higest shot% then in hits squid finished 3rd with 187 total hits now we have a great duo in 8th place kiristian sepääpnen with 190 blocks and in 9th place newton cambell with 187 blocks in defenders yukon had almost no sucsess in leaders expect kiristian sepäänen with 33 assits in the goaltender category yukon didn't also really shine with only karter mendenhall being 8th in save % with 90% and also 8th in total saves with 1172 he is also 10th in wins with 19
now onto playoffs so yukon won regina in game 7 in the first playoff series and now moves onto round 2 against detroit so now i will go game by game how yukon did
first was game 1 what yukon played great with a 4-0 victory over regina exelent work by defence offence and goaltending sure can be proud of that game
game 2 was a bit harder with 4-7 goaltending and defence took a bit of a nap there and offence was on fire scoring 7 goals but without offence the game and the whole series could have looked completely different
game 3 was 3-4 only a one game first and second periods were great we were in a 3-1 lead over regina but then in the third period our defence completly melted letting 3 goals in getting regina in the lead 4-3 what ressulted in their victory
Game 4 was a tough loss 2-1 it was also a one game and there was also a lack of goal scoring for both sides with in both first and second we had no goals then in the third we jumpped back with one goal but no goals after that so a loss both goalies played really well and overall a great game
game 5 was a great game another shutout by our goalie and great defence with also 3 goals so overall a great game for yukon
game 6 was again a bit of lack in goaltending and defence with 6 goals allowed but offence was at least scoring a bit with 4 goals this game wasn't going our way tho
now onto game 7 4-1 victory defence goaltending and offence all working together on game 7 to get the W and win the series 4-3
now malmutes are looking to face detroit falkons what we have faced 2 times before but lost both series tho out of the 4 times yukon and falcons played agianst each other yukon has won 3 so i would say yukon will wil the series and continue to the semi finals this season
So here it is how yukon has been doing hopefully yukon will do it and win it all this season and bring the cup to yukon for the first time
