Mikhail Lokitonov
@ml002

A part of the reddit draft of S39, Lokitonov was drafted 6th OA to the Toronto North Stars. A part of a growing rebuild, Lokitonov was one of 3 players drafted by Toronto in the B2B2B picks. The others being Bob Bergen and Richard Physt. Lokitonov would spearhead the rebuild into eventual contention. Becoming their leading forward for the next decade.

Starting off in S41, Lokitonov had a decent rookie season in STHS. Scoring 12 goals and 11 assists for 23 points. Nothing great, but a strong start for Loki. S42 comes around, and with increased minutes from 16 minutes per game to 22 minutes per game, Loki Thrived. Scoring 22 goals, 21 assists for 43 points. He won the Aidan Richan for most improved. 43 points was also good for 35th in the league in scoring.

S43&S44 saw him come back down to reality a little bit. Only scoring 34 & 39 points respectively. Toronto however, continued to make improvements. And in S44 they went to the playoffs for the first time.

S45 saw Loki bounce back, getting his 2nd 40+ point season. Scoring 20 goals, 26 assists for 46 points. This was his best season yet, and was 16th in scoring for that season. A major improvement, and starting to become the player that we know.

S46 was the true look at the beginning of what make Loki great. The stateline does not look like much. 14 goals, 30 assists for 44 points. But this is the first time in Loki’s career he got above 50 hits. With 73. Starting to show what type of a two way player he is becoming

S47 was the major breakout year however. Scoring 21 goals, 40 assists for 61 points. Tied for 2nd in points for that season, Loki was nominated for his first Ron Mexico award, but not winning it. He was also a part of the 1st All Star Team. He also reached double digits in hits, with 132.
S48 was the start of his two-way peak. With 21 goals, 33 assists for 54 points. As well as 223 hits, Lokitonov won his first Jeff Dar Award for best two-way forward. He was also 3rd All Star Team and was t-4th in scoring that year.
S49 is the first time he leads the league in scoring. WIth 22 goals, 40 assists for 62 points! Not to mention 208 hits, too. Lokitonov won all the awards. Jeff Dar Win, Sergei Krpostov Win, and 1st All Star. However no Ron Mexico love due to Toronto missing the playoffs.

S50, Toronto did make the playoffs. And Mikhail had another amazing season. 21 goals, 46 assists for 67 points. 199 hits, playing the best of his career. Winning the Ron Mexico for league MVP. Sarmad Khan for player voted MVP, Sergei Karpotsov for leading the league in points. Then he was nominated for the Jeff Dar, and also a part of the 1st All Star Team.
S51 saw an amazing season from Lokitonov again. 15 goals, 37 assists for 52 points. Good for 13th in the league in points. S52 would be Lokitonov’s final season in the league. As Loki’s user, Ml002, was the GM of Toronto at that time. And decided to recreate for the betterment of the team.

S52 saw his play dip to his lowest point since S46. Only scoring 21 goals, 23 assists for 44 points. With that, his career came to an end. 600GP, 217 goals, 352 assists for 569 points. A shorter but amazing career for a player. Winning all the major awards a forward should win. That is why Lokitonov deserves 70th in our top 75
