Hello everyone!
I’d firstly like to thank @JURT and @Ara on the fantastic job presenting the awards this season! We provided write ups but they ended up being much to long which is understandable! Myself and @Grapehead got a little carried away writing this season but rather than let it go to waste I decided to post it as media for anyone who would like to take the time to read it and enjoy it! I’d secondly like to congratulate all of the award winners for S77! Some of these votes were very close as noted below! Without further ado, (again) here are your nominees and winners: John McBride Award (Best Goaltender) Bernard Lodge - @UptownCord Base Pack - @slothfacekilla Five-Hole Sieve - @G2019 Bernard Lodge made a great case for best goaltender this season with some great stats in New Orleans. Lodge found himself in 3rd for best Goals Saved above average with 18.73 this season. They had an excellent 0.904 save percentage tied with four other goalies in the top 10. They also had an impressive 3.01 goals against average and tied for most shutouts with 2 other goalies with 4 shutouts! I think to make these numbers look more impressive is looking at Lodge’s 153 goals against versus 1447 saves and 1600 shots against. Lodge kept NOLA in the game this season. Philadelphia had an amazing season this season and I believe credit should go to many of the players on the roster! Here we’re going to talk about Base Pack! Base Pack did an outstanding job for the Forge, stopping 1450 shots against and only 160 goals against, good enough for a 0.901 save percentage. Pack also tied for the league best with 4 shutouts. Having a 2.94 goals against average definitely helped Philly keep their leads as they dominated this season. Can a puck fit through a Sieve? Only if the holes are big enough. Five-Hole Sieve definitely kept it tight in Buffalo this season as he had an outstanding season in net and really put the strain on opposing teams to find a way to win. Sieve was way on top with the league's best goals saved above average with 23.28. Sieve also faced a whopping 2015 shots against and managed to make 1822 saves with 193 goals against! All that was good enough to tie himself with other goalies in the top 10 with a 0.904 save percentage. Sieve did an outstanding job keeping Buffalo in the mix this season. This season’s John McBride winner is Bernard Lodge - @UptownCord! Congratulations! This was a very close vote and McBride won by just 2 points in the voting results! Scott Stevens Award (Best Defenseman) Toasty - @Toast Nathaniel Barca - @CementHands Pork Tenderloin - @Rankle You know who had a good season? Toasty!! Toasty went off on scoring this season with 65 points, good enough to tie for 2nd for most points by a defenseman, scoring 16 goals and leading all defenseman with 49 assists! It’s no trouble to tell that Toasty was playing quarterback for the Pride this season. In addition to exceptional offensive stats, Toasty also managed to block 202 shots in his own end, throw down 62 hits and help his team keep possession with 56 takeaways and only 7 giveaways.Toast spent a lot of time on the power play and some time on the penalty kill as well but spent an average of 22:58 on the ice. It’s no trouble to tell that the Pride let Toasty run wild on the ice this season and it worked out well. The Forge had lots of superstars help out the team this season and that included a star defenseman in Nathaniel Barca! Barca found himself leading the league in points by a defenseman this season with 72 points! They had the most goals with 26 and were third in assists with 46. An incredible offensive showing from the blueline. Barca kept things pretty tight on the other end as well with 76 hits, a shy but still good 85 shots blocked and also had 60 takeaways with 14 giveaways. Barca did most of his work in the offensive zone this season with an average of 4:36 minutes on the power play and only showing 0:44 average shorthanded. It’s a fair guess that Barca’s focus was to keep the puck in the offensive zone and nowhere else. They managed to rack up 74 penalty minutes which is pretty high for a defenseman. Will this hurt their chance at a Stevens? There are many cuts to pork. Back ribs are my favorite. But you can’t leave out other fantastic options like Bacon, Chops, Hams and even a nice Picnic Shoulder. But if seasoned and prepared well, one cut you can’t leave out is the Pork Tenderloin. Tenderloin played a fantastic season with New England this season. They found themselves 4th in points by defenseman with 62 points, 21 of those being goals and 41 being assists. Not only were they an offensive sensation, they were also an exceptional defender blocking 194 shots and charged ahead with 82 hits. They were also great at hogging the puck with 60 takeaways and only 9 giveaways. Tenderloin was sure to split himself up well to help the team as they averaged 4:21 minutes on the power play along with 3:18 on the PK. Altogether they averaged a whopping 23:29 on the ice a game which is very impressive. This season’s Scott Stevens award winner is Toasty - @Toast! Congratulations Toasty! Just four points ahead of the 2nd place nominee. Bojo Biscuit Award (Best Defensive Defenseman) Hodor - @bbjygm Nevek Kove - @Evok Pork Tenderloin - @Rankle Hodor!! He’s back! You just can’t stop this guy from showing up on this list. He’s once again leading the league in shots blocked with 321. Hodor has now led the league in shots blocked for six seasons in a row! What makes this even more impressive is that he has done this on a good team in the Texas Renegades! All other shot blocking leaders often come from teams who are lower in standings and face a lot of shots in general but Hodor has been doing his part with the Renegades to keep the puck out of their zone and completely taking away offensive opportunities from his opponents. Aside from the shots blocked, Hodor had a career high 61 hits and a 15/28 GA/TA. Now over to Minnesota, we have Nevek Kove. Kove was a big part of the Monarch’s defense and did a lot of work to help keep them on the winning side of the game. Kove was fourth in shots blocked this season with 279. They also played some rough hockey with 78 hits on opposing players. One of the most impressive stats from Kove was their ability to take the puck away from the other team. They had a pretty nice GA/TA of 8/52. Kove did a little bit of everything in their end this season but will it be enough for a Bojo? Who loves Pork? I do! Is it good for you? That’s up for debate. You know who it is good for? The New England Wolfpack. The Wolfpack have had a knack for developing very active defenseman. Pork Tenderloin is the next one to join that list of great D in NEW! This season Tenderloin was a very active player blocking 194 shots, 82 hits (tied for 9th in most hits for defenseman) and also had a very nice GA/TA ratio of 9/60. They were also a very active scorer but this is the BOJO. Pork Tenderloin did everything on the ice this season. This seasons Bojo winner is Hodor - @bbjygm! This is Hodor’s 2nd Bojo award! Another close vote in the category, Hodor winning this award by just 1 point. Jeff Dar Award (Best Two-Way Forward) Tony Soprano - @gurbs Hai Nam Hoang - @eddiesnothere Alexandros Mograine - @sliceruser The Philadelphia Forge’s season was such a good one and it was all achievable by having great players on the roster. One of those players was Tony Soprano. Soprano did a lot of work on this team scoring 108 points, good enough for 6th best in the league, with 62 assists and 46 goals. In addition to the work in the offensive zone, they also did their share of defensive work to help the Forge get their wins. Soprano had a very responsible GA/TA ratio of 73/75 doing their best to keep possession of the puck. They also managed a tied for 8th best 72 shots blocked as a forward and also had 108 hits against opposing players. Soprano was also spreading himself out on the team with 4:23 average minutes of ice time on the power play and 3:18 on the penalty kill. Soprano certainly showed Philly and the league that he’s able to do it all. Hai Nam Hoang is doing his best to keep Minnisota winning. They lead their team in points with 103, also good for 8th best in the league. That’s 3rd best in assists with 66 and a nice 37 goals. Not only did Hoang find his offense, he also had the team relying on him defensively with 69 takeaways and 50 giveaways, a nice ratio for a top line forward. Hoang spent most of his time on the powerplay unit with some short minutes on the PK. Will it be enough for them to win the Dar? Looking at stats for the Dar can be tough. It can be complex enough to get a Migraine. One thing Chicago has is a Mograine! Alexandros Mograine is still early in his career but is making an impact. While not cracking the 100 point mark like the other nominees, Migraine had a very respectable 86 points this season scoring 28 goals and helping out with 58 assists, keeping them just outside the top 10 assist leaders. Aside from the offensive talent, Mograine really shines at puck possession as he tallied up 79 takeaways with 50 giveaways, a fantastic GA/TA especially as a player on a team that’s not sitting at the top of standings. Will Mograine’s ability to steal the puck be enough though? This year’s Dar winner is Tony Soprano - @gurbs! Congratulations Tony! Ryan Jesster Award (Best Rookie) Frøya Solberg - @NaomiMannequeen Mac Griddle - @mcgriddleluver Shadow Fenix - @ShadowFenix The Calgary Dragons are an up and coming team with plenty of young talent. They are still working on getting their core roster stronger and becoming a contending team but we are after seeing lots of spark and a glimpse into their future. A part of that future is Center Frøya Solberg. Solberg blasted into this season with a very respectful 60 points with a near split goals and assist of 25(g) and 35(a). They are a busy skater playing defensively with a GA/TA of 57/61 which is pretty decent for a rookie skater. With only 2 power play goals and barely any special teams time, just about all of this work was completed 5v5. Looking forward to seeing what’s next for Frøya! While also being the best sandwich available at McDonald’s and it should be yours too, Mac Griddle is soon to become a favorite with the Toronto North Stars. Another rookie with 60 points on the season, 22 goals and 38 assists, this playmaking winger is ready to make an impact on the scoresheet. They are also out there looking to bruise players as they tallied 113 hits which are good rookie numbers. Mac Griddle did not get much special teams time and did most of their work at 5v5. If they can keep their giveaways low, Mac Griddle will certainly grow into an exciting player to watch in Toronto, just as exciting as thick-cut applewood smoke bacon, a fluffy folded egg and a slice of melty american cheese all on soft, warm griddle cakes with the taste of sweet maple. Once upon a time, the Seattle Argonauts were the feared team in the league. But that was some time ago. They are however busy rebuilding their core and have some excellent pieces that are starting to make their mark! One of those players is Shadow Fenix! Fenix is our highest scoring Jesster Nominee with 76 points! That’s 35 goals plus 41 assists. Fenix got to see lots of time on the power play unit scoring 26 points and averaging 3:41 minutes on the power play. They were also reliable defensively keeping theri GA/TA at a clean 41/45. Fenix was also not afraid to bounce the body around with 72 hits. Can they rise like the Fenix to win the Jesster? This season’s Jesster winner is Shadow Fenix - @ShadowFenix! Congratulations on a fantastic Rookie season! Best of luck to you in your career after a fantastic rookie season! Aidan Richan Award (Most Improved) Tony Soprano - @gurbs Pork Tenderloin - @Rankle Chris Valentine - @downer S77 was the 5th for Tony Soprano, and you could say he had a breakout season and a bounceback season at the same time. After putting up 81 points in S75, Tony slumped to 58 points for S76, before making a 50 point jump this season to hit 108 points. Soprano was given a lot more ice this season, and he used almost every second of it to generate offense for his team, even on the PK. You might be hard pressed to find an area of Tony’s game that he didn’t improve on this season. Pork Tenderloin put in a ton of work this season for the Wolfpack, and saw his overall workload increase. The extra responsibility gave him extra confidence it seems, because he put up a career high 21 goals, thanks to career highs in shots and shooting% as well (201 and 10.4% respectively). He also averaged about two and a half minutes more per game on special teams, being relied on for both penalty kills and powerplays. Tenderloin was a menace with takeaways while also responsible with the puck, sporting a +51 in the GA/TA ratio. The Wolfpack demanded more of Pork Tenderloin this season, and he took the opportunity to prove he’s the real deal. After making the switch to forward in S76, Chris Valentine had a very productive season with the Renegades, but in S77 he took it to a higher level. Another player up for this award that had to answer the call of an increased workload and extra responsibility. The Texas center was clearly more selfless this season, dishing 24 more assists in S77 vs S76; and while he didn’t increase his goal total, he did make them count more often with 5 game winning goals in S77. There’s no denying that Valentine made huge leaps offensively, and has solidified his position as one of the top centers in the SHL now. Valentine also shored up his two-way game, adding more hits and bringing his GA/TA ratio to nearly even. Congratulations to Tony Soprano - @gurbs on winning this season’s Aidan Richan, Most improved player! Lance Uppercut Award (Best GM Duo) San Francisco Pride - @Caleb and @Bayley Texas Renegades - @CapnCooper and @Anthique Philadelphia Forge - @Acsolap and @KaleSalad The Pride GMs have built a perennial contender in San Francisco, and managed to repeat their spot at the top of the western conference during the regular season. The team also came relatively close to repeating as Challenge Cup Champions. Shrewd management has allowed the Pride to keep their Championship roster together through the offseason prior to S77, and that is never an easy task. The Texas Renegades were busy tweaking the roster after S76. One move was bringing in David Doug from the Pride to shore up their defense during the offseason, which gave their powerplay a boost with his 20 PP points. They also went out and added backup goalie Roman Cechmanek II, who was rock solid with a record of 16-2-1 for the Renegades. These moves allowed them to push even further into the playoffs this season, reaching the Challenge Cup Final. Philadelphia was a force during the regular season, putting up 107 points and earning themselves the President’s Trophy. Forge management has been constructing a beastly roster, one that has grown together and is reaping the rewards of their hard work. You can expect to see the Forge near the top of the standings for the next few seasons, because this roster is built to win. Congratulations to @CapnCooper and @Anthique of the Texas Renegades on winning the Lance Uppercut! Joe McKeil Award (Best Coach) Philadelphia Forge - @Acsolap and @KaleSalad Atlanta Inferno - @hotdog and @micool132 Texas Renegades - @CapnCooper and @Anthique The Philadelphia Forge were a high possession team this season, with strong special teams and exceptional coaching, they led the league in more ways than one. The Forge powerplay succeeded 26.8% of the time, leaving opposition teams terrified to take a penalty. The coaches had the roster running like a finely tuned engine, and the tactics were working in Philly all season long. They carried their dominant play into the playoffs, where they were very close to reaching the Challenge Cup Final. Atlanta took a relatively lean roster, and a rookie goalie, and somehow the coaches turned that into a 2nd place finish in the Eastern Conference. The Inferno deployed a rock solid penalty kill that operated at a success rate of 85.1%, among the best in the league in S77. The players bought into the coach’s system fully, and it paid off for the whole organization. S77 was a great season for the Texas Renegades, and the coaching staff deserves a lot of credit there. Whether you’re looking at special teams, faceoffs, possession, or any number of categories, you’ll likely find Texas near the top of the list. The coaches brought an intense level of preparation to the locker room, and the players all hit the ice like a well oiled machine for every shift. Congratulations to @Acsolap and @KaleSalad of the Philadelphia Forge on winning the Joe McKeil! Damian Littleton Award (Most Dedicated User) @sve7en @JamesT @NaomiMannequeen Cards Team @Carpy48 - @enigmatic Why is six afraid of Sve7en? Because Sve7en eight nine! Sve7en is a very involved member of the community and is fairly well known to most users. This season Sve7en is being recognized for his work in getting the community involved in a weekly SHL three stars of the week! Every week they posted a poll giving the league an opportunity to vote for the 3 best players. Not only did the show the results but also provided some honorable mentions along with stats for each player! The forum posts provided the community with some extra discussions about players as well as gave the winners of those 3 stars an opportunity to have them talked about which everyone enjoys! A name that just about everyone recognizes now is JamesT. If the SHL were a WalMart, JamesT would be the Walmart Greeter. He’d also be the most helpful staff on hand ready to help you find what you’re looking for or know someone else who does. James is the employee of the month every month. You can count on them and even when you don’t realize it they are helping you in the background and they never look for anything in return. JamesT is a moderator of the site and discord and does it so well. They’re always in the main SHL server waiting to welcome new users or just help start a conversation and ready to help start new friendships. They are what the league is all about. A more recent user but making a big impact upon joining is NaomiMannequeen. Naomi has quickly become a recognizable user. They’ve picked up some site jobs like co-head of the PT team and helping out in the WJC as well. They managed to help a lot around the league and sometimes without compensation as well! They are a pleasure to talk with and the league is very lucky to have them around! Bank can be hard to earn in the SHL. But then you have some users who have so much bank that they don’t even know what to do with it. Well enter the Card Team. The Card Team has done a fantastic job at giving users a chance to collect their players in some awesomely designed cards. Recently they’ve also created some new cards like the 2K collection, 1st overall draft pick cards and even some new IIHF cards! A lot of work has gone into the design and their hard work is definitely loved and appreciated. Aside from the cards themselves, they have also developed their own active community of collectors! Congratulations to @JamesT on winning the Littleton this season! And Congratulations to every nominee this season. You are all amazing! Ron Mexico Award (Most Valuable Player) Cale Salad - @KaleSalad Erik Bergmark - @NYR73 Viktor Hargreeves - @lore Coming off a couple of 90 point seasons, Cale Salad gets even better as he leads the league in points this season with 124. Second in goals (just one goal behind the leader) with 60 and 4th in assists with 64, Cale did a fantastic job of being a very balanced goal scorer and great playmaker! In addition to being balanced in terms of points, Salad split his time on both special teams as well spending an average of 4:32 on the power play scoring 52 points on that power play, and also spending 3:24 on the penalty kill. Salad kept it tight defensively with a 64/53 GA/TA and 76 hits. Salad was a big part of the Forge’s success last season and certainly proved this season that’s he’s a superstar. The Baltimore Platon have developed some excellent hockey players. One of their most consistent players, now on his 4th 100 point season in a row, is Erik Bergmark. Bergmark scored 50 goals this season as well as 59 assists, good enough for 5th most point in the league with 109. Besides being an offensive whirlwind, Bergmark has been crushing bodies as well with 136 hits this season. They also managed 48 takeaways but gave the puck away 67 times but given that Bergmark is on the wing that’s not too bad! Bergmark spent a lot of time on the power play as well averaging 3:25 on the power play and scoring 24 points. Now we find ourselves in San Francisco where the Pride have certainly found their established goal scorer in Viktor Hargreeves. Hargreeves lead the league in goals this season with 61! That’s two more than their previous season for a career best. They also totaled 58 assists for a total of 119 points, 2nd in the league for most points. Hargreeves kept things pretty tight with a 49/53 GA/TA and 78 hits playing a decent defensive game. Back to Viktor’s offensive talent, they also lead the league in power play goals with 21. Hargreeves is an absolute threat on the ice, but will his offensive talent be enough to win MVP? This season’s Ron Mexico Award winner and Most Valuable Player is Cale Salad - @KaleSalad! Congratulations on the excellent season Cale! Anton Razov Award (Playoff MVP) Marton Diehm - @FaraDian Olof Karsikko - @Accka Seamus O'Slapahan - @Z0REM The Renegades had a very strong team presence during their playoff run but a player who stood out among them was Marton Diehm. Diehm lead all players this playoff with 38 points scoring 14 goals and and 24 assists! In addition to the offensive abilities Diehm was busy taking down opponents with a 2nd best 62 hits in the playoffs and keeping a somewhat tight GA/TA of 30/18. Diehm split his time between the power play and the penalty kill with 3:55 on the PP scoring 4 goals on the powerplay, tied for 2nd most with small handful of players, and spent 1:02 on the ice short handed. Diehm also sent minimal time in the penalty box with only 4 penalties against him throughout 23 games played. New England’s roster put in a lot of individual work this playoffs but one player they have counted on for ages found himself being the hero yet again. “Playoff” Olof Karsikko worked his magic yet again as they found themselves miles above any other goalie in goals saved above average with 26.04. Too put that in a better perspective. The 2nd goalie in that stat was at 7.59. Olof made 943 saves on 1033 shots against, good enough for a stellar 0.913 save percentage. This was a magical run for a goalie in what is likely the twilight of his career. Another player on the cup winning team that really shined bright this playoffs was Seamus O’Slaphan. Seamus has had many bright seasons with the Wolfpack but when the games matter most he’s right there as well. Leading all defenseman with 19 points, Seamus scored 9 goals (tied for most by a defenseman) and 10 assists. 4 of those goals were scored on the powerplay in which O’Slapahan averaged 3:00 minutes on. They also tallied 3 assists totalling 7 points on the powerplay showing their importance in special teams. Aside from their offense abilities, O’Slaphan was also one of the most dependable players on the blue line as they didn’t give the puck away once and had 26 takeaways. They lead the playoffs in shots blocked with 121 and also found time to hit 27 players. O’Slapahan did it all this post season. Can he outshine his teammate between the pipes? Your Anton Razoff winner this season is none other than Playoff Olof Karsikko - @Z0REM! A well deserved trophy! Congratulations Olof! Sarmad Khan Award (Players MVP) Cale Salad - @KaleSalad Erik Bergmark - @NYR73 Viktor Hargreeves - @lore Given that we have the same players voted in for the Khan and we’ve already discussed the stats and capabilities of these nominees in the Ron Mexico, we’re going to go about this a little differently. I reached out to each nominee individually and asked some questions about this award. It was hard to get their number from the Forge but after speaking with General Management I was able to reach out to Cale Salad about his thoughts on this award. I asked Cale how he felt to be nominated by the league as the player’s MVP to which he responded: “It’s truly an honour to be nominated. When I created a forward this go around my hope was that I would be able to have a couple strong seasons but to have an incredible one and league the league in points is something you can only hope for. To even get a nomination for this award is special.” Salad hits the ice hard thanks to his pre-game salads and ripping cans of Barq’s with the rest of the team. Speaking of the team, Cale added that he would like to credit some of his success to he amazing teammates Graj Virrok and Tony Soprano as well as all of the time on the power play with top defenseman Nathaniel Barca. Salad has certainly accomplished a lot this season but he still has eyes on the big prize, The Challenge Cup. For now Cale will cherish any potentially won individual awards but has noted that he would eat them if they were made out of chocolate. Erik Bergmark was on his jet ski when asked these questions. Bergmark said he feels guilty being nominated for this award when he had so much help from his teammates. Bergmark stated he'd like to thank all of his teammates for his success as they deserve just as much credit. He just happens to be doing the job that gets the most attention for awards. Bergmark also said that his eyes are still in winning the cup with his team and that's his next milestone. Bergmark stayed focused this season with help of his pregame music to get hyped up before games as well as giving him the right headspace to get in the game. Bergmark also mentioned that if the award was made out of chocolate he would definitely eat it. Otherwise it would melt and make a big mess. You can't have that. Finally, Viktor Hargreeves answered his phone while somehow getting reception on the top of Mt. Everest. First off, Viktor said that he feels like he's being given too much credit for the fforts of everyone else around him but he appreciates the recognition from the community. Viktor also gives a lot of credit to linemate Oskar Scholtz as he's been making him look good his whole career. Viktor added that that he's not sure what else he could do for league wide achievements but there's no such thing as reaching the top. Viktor remains focused on helping set up the future of stars of San Francisco because their time is coming up very soon. Hargreaves will continue stepping up his game by eating his pre game meal of chicken fried rice with a packet of Denny's syrup for good luck. Finally, Hargreaves too would eat the award of it was made of chocolate unless it was white chocolate. The. He would throw it in the bin. This seasons Sarmad Khan winner as voted by the community is none other than Cale Salad - @KaleSalad! Once again, congratulations Cale on this incredible season! We will provide a wheelbarrow for you to carry your trophies out with! And that’s a wrap on the Season 77 Awards! I’d like to thank anyone and everyone who decided to read this write up! Next season we’ll be more prepared to not provide so many words for the streamers but be sure to keep things entertaining! I’d also like to open the opportunity for anyone to comment and provide suggestions on things they may like to see in the future from the awards team! I am always open to criticism and suggestions! We want to bring the best possible results and the committee works hard on discussion as well as providing their nominations and voting! If anyone is interested in seeing more of “how the sausage is made” please let us know! Thanks for reading! Hope your coffee is warm and your day is great! I don't know how you justify us winning the McKeil over Atlanta or Krash not winning the Stevens but then awards throws up seemingly random choices every season.

We do that by grouping everyone's nominations and dropping any that aren't nominated by usually 40% of the committee. All others are then put in the ballot to be voted on and then the votes are tallied and a winner is chosen. For those who don't know, we use a vote and point system to decide winners. As copied from our polls: Voting: When you vote, give your top 3 for each award. For each ballot the points are set up like this: First Place Ballot = 5pts Second Place Ballot = 3pts Third Place Ballot = 1pt Which means the order you place the players does matter! We then tally up the scores from the voters and see where we stand. If there is a tie after points have been tallied, nominees will be eliminated based on the following, in order: Least number of first place votes Least number of first + second place votes For the McKeil, it was close between Philly and Atlanta. Both teams had 2 first place votes each. Philly received 4 2nd place votes and ATL received 2 2nd place votes and a 3rd place vote. Philly had a total of 22 and ATL with 17 therefore Philly won the McKeil! Congratulations! As for Krash, it was again very close! 3 first place votes for Toasty and 2 for Barca. 2 2nd place votes each and then 1 3rd place vote for Toasty and 2 3rd place votes for Barca. Toasty won the vote at 22 points versus Barca's 18. All votes and nominations are done by the committee with their own best judgement. It gets harder when there's a great class of nominees.

Just as a pure 3rd party Atlanta came from a team that was a ROW loss away from being a lotto team. As they had tied points with TOR. Then the next season ATL was 2nd in the conference and 4th in the league. Philly on the other hand went from 84 points -> 107 points. Very impressive as well. but not nearly as impressive as what Atlanta did over the season Then for the stevens I would love more info on why the voters thought that Toasty was better than barca and tenderloin. not just superlative writeups

I don't want to make it seem like we aren't recognizing the feedback we've seen regarding the S77 awards, but they're done now so I feel like our time is better spent using that feedback to improve decisions in S78. I think it's fair to disagree with the award nominations/winners, and reasonable to express that, but we're still talking about volunteers trying to add something to this community. Whether you agree with the results or not, people have put work into this, so it can be disheartening to see our efforts disvalued.

I’m not totally sure what you found from my original comment as disvaluing your efforts. I see something from my view, I’m asking for more information from the awards side to see how they felt. Obviously the way you voted is how the awards committee felt. But I would like more in depth reasonings. I assume you can pull that from your discord. Some quotes here and there or some stats that stood out. And especially since it’s been a couple weeks after voting was finalized to get something together

I'm happy to try and work out some better things to read including stats and graphics. I'm not sure about discord discussion but if something comes down to an opinion that everyone agreed with than maybe.
We can work with the suggestions to make S78 better. But I don't feel the need to now go back on S77 when we have a new season of data to work with. If further analysis into decisions is something the community wants than we'll try our best to show more of that. The goal is having the community be happy with the result. We'll keep working on that. As for decisions which led to nominations and votes, that's been done now and I can't change the minds of the committee. I think no matter what decisions are made there will always be some people unhappy with decisions but that's why we have a committee to vote.
