I’ll get straight to the point of this media: after 15 seasons in the SHL – all with the New Orleans Specters – Atticus Hale will be a free agent this coming off-season (with approval from @JKortesi81). Hale is 64 points away from 1,000 career points and I would like to reach that milestone before retiring this player so remaining at forward is a must (at least for S79). I’m not concerned about SHLbucks and competing for a cup is not a necessity but a fun and respectful team with a good vibe would be great!

For anyone considering going on this final adventure with me, I promise to put in maximum effort to fight regression and do whatever I can to ensure Hale is as good as he can be for the team. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or want to chat (unless the rules say you have to)!

Now for the other stuff. I found the SHL and created this player more than three years ago and over that timespan I have been part of a single SMJHL team (Carolina Kraken) and a single SHL team (New Orleans Specters). The thought of changing teams feels strange but I welcome the opportunity to meet new people and see what the rest of the SHL has to offer! I have put a lot of time and effort into Atticus Hale and I hope to send him off into the sunset on a positive note. Regardless of how everything shakes out, I want to thank you again @JKortesi81 for busting your ass to make NOLA a contender and for all the help and guidance you’ve provided for 15+ seasons! I’ll save everything else for a retirement speech. Smile
