Head Office has has been in discussion regarding the behavior of the user, @Marmelad


In light of its investigation, HO found the user to be in breach of our rules on conduct in multiple cases, crossing the lines on various topics including but not limited to homophobia, bigotry, sexism, harassment and threats of users, and cheating the PT system. Marmelad has also been found to own a multi account under the user @AMOS_KIOSK_BANDITER.  HO has voted on a permanent ban of @Marmelad as well as @AMOS_KIOSK_BANDITER


This decision was made as the behavior was clearly intentional and failure to own up to their mistake (despite efforts to reason with him by SMJHL team’s management, HO members and many members of the community) and self-admittingly falsifying religious beliefs and disabilities to use as excuse for previous actions has made this breach all the more concerning.


We would like to recognize the efforts by management of the users team, who have given their best effort to correct the behavior and have subsequently taken action to protect their other players.


The SHL has always strived to foster a respectful, inclusive, and honest environment. Marmelad's repeated actions not only undermined the fairness of the league but also betrayed the trust and goodwill extended by many in this community. HO does not and will never tolerate the behavior displayed here.



As always, the user may appeal this decision and can send an appeal request to any of the heads of the appeal committee, currently @DrunkenTeddy and @Leafs4ever Any appeal should be filed within 48 hours of this punishment.
