The first person to have their number retired is currently the oldest Knights Alumni member still in the SHL. He was drafted 10th overall in the S2 NWJHL Entry Draft by the Knights. He was a part of the franchise’s first Four Stars Cup Championship team in season 2. He then went onto being drafted 5th overall by the Calgary Dragons. He’s a two time Challenge Cup Champion...... TREVOR SMITH!!! The next number being retired was the Knights 2nd round pick in the Season 4 NWJHL Entry Draft. He went onto being drafted 48th overall by the Winnipeg Jets and is known as one of the biggest steals. He has won the Garcia trophy three times in his SHL career. He’s an amazing goaltender in the SHL and has 1 Challenge Cup Championship under his belt so far... JOHN MCBRIDE!!! He was drafted in the first round, 6th overall by the Knights in the NWJHL S4 entry draft. He was named the Captain of the team in season 4. He went onto be drafted by the Los Angeles Panthers in the Season 5 SHL Entry Draft 13th overall. He was then traded to the Manhattan Rage. He has won 2 Stevens trophies for best defenseman. He is now a part of the Dragons where he has won a Challenge Cup to add to his trophy haul so far.... ERIK CHISLING!!! He was a 1st round pick of the Knights in the NWJHL season 6 entry draft. He then went onto being drafted by the Vancouver Nightmare in season 6; 3rd overall. Then in season 7 traded to the Minnesota Chiefs. He was then named the General Manager of the Knights for a few seasons before stepping down recently. He is now on the Texas Renegades and is their captain.... SAKU PERHONEN!!! He is known as the great one... He was Drafted 5th overall by the Knights in the Season 6 NWJHL Entry Draft. He was also the GM at one point with the Knights. He went onto being drafted 1st overall by the Edmonton Comets. He ended up Winning Rookie of the Year and the Richard. He was appointed with the expansion team job with the Texas Renegades... ELIAS ARMIA!!! The Knights would like to congratulate these 5 amazing players on their success so far in their careers and the future success they’ll have.
