Where does the compensatory pick for the Hydras come from again? Was it the piece that was later added in the Jesster-trade? If so then I'm a bit surprised, I though the Dragons would have to trade one of their own picks to Hartford?

I wouldn't like that. The three of us were told to create a deal that we found to be fair. We did that, the trade went through, we did as we were told in that situation. There is no need to punish us by removing our second round pick in this draft.

Well I don't think it's fair that a team is allowed to trade a pick without actually having to give up a pick... But well, it's probably better to not open that discussion up again.

It wasn't in the trade, it was granted by the league after Fernando made a case about why he should get some kind of compensatory pick.

I see myself going in that 8-13 slot.

Pretty pumped.

Bump! Draft is 10 days away!

Writing up a mock is pretty tough this year. Do we even have 20 players, or should we write "Pass" for the second half of round 2?

We have about 25-30 active/semi-actives, I can post a list here of all the ones I know off the top of my head, if you'd like.

Just cause I wanted to do it anyway, this is just off the top of my head, so I likely missed someone.

Actives(17): Miller, Hayha, Schultz, Donini, Smith, Abraham, Winters, Verminski, Hoperle, Cant, Swerin, Fortescue, Cezar jr., Watson, Spurill, Riggs, Hooper, Keenan.

Semi-Actives(11)(People who either slowed down updates, or just started doing them, could easily become active, so may be steals): Gibson, Larsson, Harris, DeMarse, Barkov, Ryan, Cerilli, Chezno, Di Gennaro, Larade, Cunningham,

Who the **** knows anymore(1): Steele.

**** I actually didn't forget him, I just couldn't decide where to put him and forgot that I didn't put him on the list. I see him on all the time, but it seems like he doesn't update much, if he could fix that then our horrible defensive prospect situation would be much better off. . .

For what it's worth, I think he did update the other day, so maybe that's a change in the right direction?
