<div align="center">Impact of the Week: Weeks 2 & 3

Impact of The Week Background Information:
When I was a junior, Toast and Darian were running a program called “Impact of the Week”. It added some competition to our locker room (always friendly) and helped us push ourselves to be better. It gave me something to look forward to and was one of the big reasons that I stayed interested and active. When I was named GM of the Impact, I was 100% sure that I needed to bring this back. The person who receives this honour the most during the season will receive a bonus of 500k.

First of all, they have to be an exemplary member of the Montreal Impact. This means contributing on the scoresheet and also in the locker room. We expect the best and look for the best from all of our players. When they give us this, we reward them and look for them to continue this play.

As the holidays progressed and everyone’s lives were busy, we deliberated on who would be the Impact of the Week for weeks 2 & 3. Week one saw George Costanza, the Montreal Impact’s assistant captain, earn the honours with a stellar week off the ice. We believe that these weeks would set the tone for our season as the year began and the work towards the cup came to it’s start. So our first winner for week two was a new addition to our team. We signed him out of Free Agency and he showed great work ethic off the bat. We tried and tried to sign him, before finally getting him to sign and so far he’s done great. Within the top 5 in scoring for our organization this year, we believe this player has a bright future in the Simulated Hockey league. He has been a positive influence in the locker room and on the ice he’s been a force to be reckoned with, earning extra special teams minutes. Without further ado, the Impact of the Week for the week of December 23rd to December 30th is:

<div align="center">Karl Jenkins!!!</div>

There were definitely a couple people we could have chosen for this honour, but it was clear that Karl was the right choice. In the 14 games played this week, Karl scored 4G and contributed 6A going almost point per game. He played a good defensive role for our team, making himself a complete thread as advertised. In the locker room, all week he was a fantastic presence and has stepped into his role perfectly. He was a stud this week, leading the team offensively as well as as playing responsibly defensively and being an asset off the ice. For those reasons, Karl Jenkins is the second Impact of the Week for Season 16!

Congrats Karl!

Current Standings:
George Costanza – 1
Karl Jenkins - 1

<div align="center">Impact Assistant Captain & Week 3 IOTW

[Image: 2aakjkm.png]</div>

We entered the New Year and the outlook was bright. Impact were on the rise and we were looking for someone to step up and take the position of assistant captain. We’ll be doing this in a joint part, because this person won both Week 3 Impact of the Week and the honour of donning the A for the Montreal Impact. He’s worked hard, which was evidenced by a competition management held within the organization. It was to do with TPE gains and they put in the hours to make sure that their game was up to speed and it’s evidenced on the ice, up to par with the game of those like Chico Salmon. Weeks one and two saw George Costanza & Karl Jenkins win and we will once again see a new winner! This person won the competition and we’ll see a hype article about them in the coming days! He didn’t join via draft, but came via Free Agency and has made quite the Impact, if you’ll excuse my pun. He’s a top scorer for our franchise and expect him to continue this for the rest of the season & playoffs.

In terms of captaincy, after naming their captain and one of two assistant captains earlier this season, the Montreal Impact have called a press conference to announce who the second and final Assistant Captain this season will be. They issued a challenge to their team earlier this year and certainly saw some favourable results. They wanted to see who would step up and take the role that was up for grabs. Multiple skaters stepped up but sadly only one could receive this position. After some deliberation, general manager Jordan Nugent-Hall and co-general manager Shawn Velevra decided to name this player as the assistant captain of the Montreal Impact. It’s a prestigious honour to wear a letter for Montreal and we feel like this player will represent our organization very well. He’s active in the locker room, on the forums and is a great player on the ice. He comes as advertised and we’re ecstatic he signed in Montreal. So without further ado, the Impact Assistant Captain and Week 3 IOTW is…

<div align="center">Mr. Feeny!!!!</div>

<div align="center">[Image: lupul4.jpg]</div>

We feel that Feeny was the best choice for this position as he’s really stepped it up. Feeny has been consistently training his player, has made decisions with the best interests of the team in mind and has been a very active contributor in the locker room. For these reason, we believe that Mr. Feeny will be a fantastic assistant captain for this franchise and have the utmost faith in him.

Congrats Mr. Feeny, VIVE L’IMPACT!!!
