The Platoon are in a big transition period the loss of Maly,Turksa and Watson leaves the Platoon without there Captian and one of there Assistants. They also saw the team GMs change hands now run by Marshall and King Tut. With Maxy leaving to West Kendall. Tut came in with big plans and things he feels can help bolster this teams already rich history.

First off however before the big announcement Tut steps to the podium for another announcement.

Hello everyone as you all know with so much change this season there were alot of voids left in the team we are here to address those holes. We have two announcements to make our first will be who will wear letters for our team in the upcoming seasons.

Our First Assistant Captian will be Armin Brovalchuk he brings a true impact forward to our group and veteran leadership. He will be a huge piece for us this season and hopefully for a few years. He will wear our first A congratulations.

Next up is John Anderson he took a huge step forward last year for us and hes a key piece of this teams future. He will wear the second A this year in place of Tut who took on a management role. We couldnt be happier with him and excited to see what he can do this year.

Last up is our Captian this was an obvious choice for us as a managment group hes been a vocal leader and a big piece of our franchise and defense moving forward. Jim Lahey will don the C for us this season and anchor our defense he has all the makings of a franchise defender. Were excited to see him lead this team now and in the future.

Our second announcment is a new thing i would like to do each an every year. There are many great players that have suited up for this franchise throughout the years and it was a tough choice to make.With guys like Khan already having an award named after him we needed someone else who was a big part of this teams history. It came down to Reay, Holmes, Lazaro it was a tough choice to make however it was one that had to be made.

The Platoon each year will now hand out the Alex Raey award. Raey was a huge part of the Platoon dynasty back in the days and a true player for the Platoon to look up to. This award will be given each season to the most dedicated player and the guy who really displays what we want in people who suit up for this storied franchise.

Hes been a vocal leader in our locker room since day one he was the obvious choice for captian, and for this presitgious award. Hes a loyal members whose ready to lead us for years to come and is everything we want here in West Kendall. He had a great playoffs and regular season for us and now anchors our defense and our franchise face.
