I have already done the top ten forwards and defence men in the simulation hockey league for this upcoming season. Now i am going to look t some of the best goaltenders in the simulation Hockey League. This is an interesting topic as on some teams there isn't much of a difference between their starter/back-up as last season, Uijah Winnfield last his starting position to C.J James. Which was quite surprising considering the post-season run Winnfield had as he had a great season. I will be favouring wins, Sv% and Shutouts compared to GAA in my list as i don't think GAA is a good tool to judge goalies on weaker teams as having a poor defence or offence will hard on the goaltender. GAA will still be used to judge a goalie though.


1. Jakub Aittokallio 30 wins 8L 6OTL 2.00GAA .915SV% 7 Shutouts

You have be a full blown retard to not think this guy is the best goalie in the Simulation Hockey League. He has shown he can backstop a team to a championship as he has won three with the Blizzard and has been a massive reason why his team has been so successful. He is trying to win his third straight championship with the blizzard. He is good with controlling rebounds and he stops everything that he see. There is some goalies that are young and coming close to the top title but as of right now he is the by far the best goalie in the Simulation Hockey League especially with the retirement of Heiss.

2. Mike Verminski 28 wins 10L 6OTL 2.30GAA .914SV% 8 shutouts

Without the Russian net minder, the Dragons would have zero chance of making the post-season. He is the franchise and he will lead them to the post-season once again and a decent post-season run. With the Dragons Management adding top pairing defender Logan Valentine to the roster, it will relieve some of the defensive pressure that is put onto Verminski. He might be the Most valuable Player to their team in my opinion. He has been rather consistent the last couple of seasons.

3. Jermaine Tennyson 34 wins 8L 2OTL 1.90GAA .910SV 5 shutouts

The next upcoming goaltending star will be playing for a team that is 200% better than his old team. This will help his stats to be a part of the elite goalies of the Simulation Hockey League. Jermaine is the next young and upcoming goalies and will rival Verminski and Aittokallio for the goaltending crown. Tennyson is a great goalie and he can stop everything that he sees. Has a great glove hand and has great lateral movement. He is also great with puck handling and some can say he is almost like a 3rd defence men out there with the puck.

4. Jordin Fourfour 29 wins 10L 5OTL 2.25GAA .907SV% 5 shutouts

Fourfour in my opinion was a top three net minder last season but this season is going to be different for fourfour :unsure: , his team is without Finnish superstar Elias Armia, and boasts a much younger line-up. He also had a very poor performance in the post-season resulting in a first round defeat to the dragons. Also the Trade of Tennyson going to the Wolfpack won't help him. Fourfour is a very talented goalie with some potential to be even better. He has a great wok ethnic and will be a star someday.

5.Edwin Ask 23 wins 17L 4OTL 2.50GAA .908sv% 8 shut outs

Ask has been one of the better goaltenders in the past couple of seasons, but him going to the Chiefs will lower his stats a lot as he will be playing for one of the younger teams in the league with a lot of future. He is still a very talented net minder and a top five goalie in the league. He could shock me and the league lead his team to the post-season. He has the talent to do so. He will need to steal games for his team if he wants to see the daylight of the post-season this season.
