Cameron Bunz
Bunz, a draft eligible prospect from southern Ontario, has been making big noise with his even bigger plays. There is a reason why they call Cameron Bunz "Bunz of Steel." At 6'3 220lbs, Bunz is willing to throw his weight around on the ice. His pure physical game will cause major wear and tear to his opponents along the boards. While his physical nature is what most people see, Bunz believes that his greatest advantage to his size comes from another angle. "Yeah, uhh, I'm a great number two guy for any line. Uhh, being as large as I am, I'm able to creat a lot of space for goal scorers on my line. Which works for me, because I'm more of a passer than I am a goal scorer." - Cameron Bunz From talking to Bunz, it was obvious that he knew his role didn't involve scoring goals. He made reference to being a solid playmaker, a fantastic forechecking forward (Given his Strength, Checking, and skating attributes specialties,) and even helping out in his own end. Bunz believes that all of this will lead him to have a successful career in the SHL one day, and with the way he plays, I know I'd rather have him on my team than against me. Reporter: Mr. McToot. Cameron Bunz will now do a live press conference! He's a fearless man, who uhh isn't afraid to throw his body. Uhh he gets apples more often than Gino's, he knows what it's about playing your heart out. So yeah, Joe McKeil. Are you confident you'll be able to throw everyone around?Uhh great question man. So uhh yeah, I think my physical play will uhh prove big in the Juniors. Uhh there's a lot of great talent in these leagues and uhh you can't just be one dimensional, YA know. While I'd like to uhh think my physical play will get me places, I realize I've gotta uhh work on my offensive and defensive game to truly be successful. You know, I've been eating a little more pasta than a man should and I've gained a lot of weight, and while it's been tougher getting into my equipment, uhh it's been easier to knock some kids on their uhh butts ya know. <!--QuoteBegin-mpc@Mar 27 2015, 04:33 PM List of SMJHL destinations ranked by likability? Where do you plan to develop your game your rookie season?[/quote] Uhh you know, being in the juniors is a big enough honour that choosing the likability of a team uhh does seem right to me. If I have to uhh go with any team maybe it'd uhh be a Canadian team being a Canadian player.
