Game 7:
Detroit Falcons versus Kewlowna Knights

This game was unquestionably heavy on the offensive side of the ice. The first period was absolutley dominated by the Falcons, where they managed to score five goals during the twenty minute period. The first goal was scored by Andre Martushev, who netted his first goal of the year, with the assists coming from Bjorn Knutsen, and Brandon Girard. Around ten seconds later, the Falcons scored again, with a goal from Shayne Gow, who also scored his first goal of the season, with the assists coming from Barney Tuzis, and Kaapo Kekkonen. Around five minutes later, the third goal of the period for the Falcons came from the hands of Alex Mack, who scored his second goal of the season, with the assists coming from Bjorn Knutsen, and Brandon Girard. Sixteen seconds later, the Falcons scored again, and were clearly dominating the Knights' defense, with a goal from Bastien Salabanzi. who scored his first goal of the season, with the lone assists by Michael Burch. The final goal of the period for the Falcons, came with a bit less than forty seconds left, with a goal from Bjorn Knutsen, who scored an impressive forth goal already, and with the assists coming from Alex Mack, and Jasper Clayton. Needless to affirm, the Falcons were crushing the Knights with a 5-0 lead entering the second.

The second period was much like the first, except it was the Knights who dominated the Falcons during these twenty minutes. About three minutes into the period, the Knights scored their first goal from Dr. Timeturner Whooves, who scored his first goal of the season, with an assist from Matt Veenstra. About a minute later, the Knights scored again from the hands of Randy Randleman, who scored his second goal of the season, with the lone assist from Adam Abodobe. Two minutes later, one of the Knights' rookies scored their first of the season, from the hands of Maria Maximova, with the assists coming from Dr. Timeturner Whooves and Kristjan Vilhjalmsson. Four minutes before the end of the period, the Knights scored again from another rookie scoring their first in the season, with a goal from Ivar Ogorodnikov, with the assists coming from Dr. Timeturner Whooves and Kristjan Vilhjalmsson once again. This ended the period, as the Knights have miracuiously made this a game, only down one goal.

The third period lacked the offensive explosion of the first two periods, but the Falcons still dominated it. Almost seven minutes into the period, Barney Tuzis scored his second goal of the season, with the assists coming from Kaapo Kekkonen and Elvis Libra. A long gap between the next goal occured, which was broken with a bit over three minutes left in the period, when Bjorn Knutsen scored his fifth goal of the season and second of the game, with the assists from Michael Burch, and Alex Mack. The final score was of course 7-4 in favor of the Falcons.

Game 8:
Montreal Impact versus Vancouver Whalers

This game ironically had the same exact score as the previous game on this PSG, though the offense was far more spread out. The first goal was contested, though the Whalers seemingly had the advantage. The first goal of the game came almost thirteen minutes into the game, when Fife Gibbs scored his first goal of the season, with the assist coming from Geoffrey Allen. Almost seven minutes later, the Whalers scored again, when Jack Durden scored his second of the season, with the assists coming from Matthew Hebscher, and Fife Gibbs. With less than twnety seconds left in the period, the Impact managed to salvage the period by scoring, from the hands of Bobby Trill, who scored his second goal of the season, with the assists coming from Sage Tanner, and Klaus Wagner. The period ended with a score of 2-1, in the favor of the Whalers obviously.

The second period was dominated by the Whalers, as they truly made their mark on the game. Thirty-eight seconds into the period, the Whalers scored, by the hands of Geoffrey Allen, who scored his first goal of the season, with the assists from Jordan Uptuck, and Zack Hoover. Around five minutes later though, the Impact managed to respond, with a goal from Adam Falk, who scored his first goal of the season, with the assists coming from Johnny O'Leary, and Chris Welch. Eleven minutes later, the Whalers scored again, from the hands of Jordan Uptuck, who scored his first goal of the season, with the assists coming from Colin Wood, and Zack Hoover. Twenty seconds later, the Whalers scored again, with a goal from Michael Warnick, who also scored his first goal of the season, with the aisst coming from Eichel Jordan. The Whalers took a 5-2 lead after this period, and were seemingly in full control of the game at this juncture.

The third period was split in offensive production, which was smply not enough to take the game away from the Whalers. Less than a minute into the game, the Whalers scored from the hands of Beau Ballard, who scored his first goal of the season, with the assist from Patrick Taylor. The Impact responded a bit over two minutes later, with a goal from Lord Pretty Flacko, who scored his second goal of the season, with the assists coming from Johnny O'Leary, and Adam Falk. Around ten minutes later into the period, Patrick Taylor scored for the Whalers, which was his second of the season, with the assists coming from Beau Ballard, and VLAD McZehrl. The final goal of the game from the Impact, by the hands of Shane O'Ferghall, who scored his second goal of the season, with the assists coming from Evandrus Jesster, and Klaus Wagner. The final score of the game was a commanding 7-4 victory to the Whalers.
