Because Kristján got snubbed by the love-square of Maximova/Lundberg/Scholz/Koroviev, he has decided to open his own microphone for questions.
Why would you want to ask questions to Kristján Vilhjalmsson, other than that his name is extremely difficult to write correctly?
Well for the fact-lovers, i'll show some facts to love.
#5 - Kris is the fifth best center in the SMJHL today
#2 - Kris almost has no rival in the face-off circle, with a whopping 55% of his face-offs being won.
#4 - Kris is the fourth best rookie in the league, and the best from the Kelowna Knights.
24 - This is the amount of assists he has made, showing his lethal passing.
42 - This is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything
So, for people who wish to ask questions to the true viking norse god of the SMJHL and beyond, go ahead and he might grace your life with an answer.

This league has many different types of personalities. Viking, alien, pylon(looking at you Girard), and many more. Why is Viking the best?
Vikings take shit from nobody. We come and we pillage the shit out of your refridgerator.
Honey badgers think they got street cred, but they all learned it from the vikings.

With the season nearing its end have you been approached by any scouts or SHL teams?
I have not been approached, but it will be like SMJHL. Smart teams will find me, and sign me, and will be very happy with me.

What's your favorite pre game meal?
Quote:Originally posted by Alucard@Jul 8 2015, 06:46 PM
How does it feel to be one of the top-performing rookies in the league?
I feel like it was simply what I was able to do, some teams did not scout me when I came into the league, but they are scouting now I think. I make everyone better.
Quote:Originally posted by Alucard@Jul 8 2015, 06:46 PM
The Knights form has improved of late; what do you put this down to, and do you think it can continue?
I think the team has become better together, when season began we didn't know people very well, we all knew that we had talent, but we didn't know talent of each other. Now we work together, and we know what can make us win. I pass, others shoot, some defend, others punch people on the mouth. We all have strengths, nobody acts like a hero.

I bought very nice house in Kelowna, and I like to stay in the region of Kelowna. Sadly there is no SHL team in British Columbia, so maybe I will play in Seattle maybe... Or I can go to Calgary or Edmonton, they have very nice rivalry between each other, I like big rivalries.

I always bring towel, you never forget to bring towel.
Quote:Originally posted by Alucard@Jul 8 2015, 06:46 PM
What was the real reason you didn't make it to the Knights' lemonade sale? Nobody's buying this 'Viking hangover' story.
Well, when we made plans of doing lemonade sale, I had idea of selling Icelandic lemonade, which has a very special ingredient, but they didn't like ingredient idea... I also said that we need to cut lemons with axe, like true vikings, but again they said no... So I just did own thing, you know.

I like Pal, he's like a Pal... No pun intended, haha. But I think I would win a fight, I don't know about him, but I'm not afraid of any fight, I have beaten bigger people than Pal.
Quote:Originally posted by TML99@Jul 8 2015, 05:45 PM
What Viking do you prefer Rollo the first ruler of Normandy or Harald Hardrada the last great viking leader?
Being the last leader only shows how bad you left it, so Harald isn't as badass as people think he is. Rollo went to France and showed those wimps what real men look like, and he took what he wanted because he was a viking. There's no replacement for being badass.

In Iceland I used to be so good, they had me train two on one in the faceoffs. So I learned to not just beat one guy in the circle, but two guys... Now i'm in Canada, they play by rules and rules say I face one guy, and one guy always easier than two guys, no matter how talented they are.
Quote:Originally posted by TML99@Jul 8 2015, 05:45 PM
How do you practice your passing?
Very simple, I only train passing outside with rocks and the new car of the coach. If I can thread rock through both windows to the outside, he won't kick my ass. That's how I get good at passing and not getting ass kicked.

what is that "special" viking ingredient for the viking lemonade?
The blood of a virgin blessed by Odin under the full moon, obviously.
Quote:Originally posted by enigmatic@Jul 9 2015, 04:30 PM
Do you like the attention being the most badass member of the team brings or are you getting tired of it?
I never get tired of being a badass, and it's a challenge trying to keep the likes of Maximova from taking my crown of being the team badass. Lots of badasses on the Knights.

I love rivalries, so everytime we beat the Whalers I am a happy player.

I always feel that I can be the best player on the team, whether it takes three seasons or five. I know my talents and I know what teams seek.
What I seek in teams is a team, I don't care for a squad filled with individuals who don't care about anything about their own. I like Kelowna because it's everything but individual accolades, everyone is having fun working together, and I want to find that in a SHL team.
Quote:Originally posted by Ferdy@Jul 10 2015, 04:09 PM
1) How important is talking to a team for your willingness to play there? In other words, will you feel confident if several GMs contact you before the draft?
Being contacted by a team is always nice before getting drafted, even if they aren't ending up drafting me in the end. I don't know how I would feel if I was drafted by a team without even being contacted beforehand. I rather have people contact me and after answering their questions tell me straight up that I am a fit or not, rather than have to wait and see.
Quote:Originally posted by Ferdy@Jul 10 2015, 04:09 PM
2) Are there any SHL teams you really wouldn't want to go to? (not asking you to openly say who they are, though.)
I don't have any prejudices against any of the teams in the SHL. As long as they are active and are building a team of good sane people, i'm cool with joining them.

Shut up baby, I know it!
<!--QuoteBegin-prettyburn@Jul 10 2015, 04:38 PM Also, I know you're tied to the roots you're putting down in Kelowna. That said, with a nice SHL contract, you could easily afford a winter house on the east coast and a summer house in Kelowna. Thoughts?
It's always an idea, yes. Or someone in Kelowna can write a letter about building a monorail all the way to the team that drafted, what could ever go wrong with that.
