Jasper Clayton Post-S24 Press Conference
#1

An hour after the final horn sounded in Detroit, Jasper Clayton steps out of the locker room. Cleanly shaven for the first time since the playoffs began and dressed in a freshly pressed suit, he sullenly walks up to the table and sits down behind the microphone.

He sits silently for a moment, before looking up at the crowd of reporters gathered inside waiting to hear from the Falcons' rookie defender.

"Before I begin this press conference," he starts, "I have a few people I'd like to thank. First of all, I'd like to thank Kyle Prince of the Prince George Firebirds. If not for the help and guidance he gave me during my first few weeks here before I was drafted into the SMJHL, I probably wouldn't still be here today."

"Second of all, I'd like to thank Tommy Creller of the Manhattan Rage. You did so much for myself and the rest of the Falcons this season. It's too bad that we couldn't win another Four Star Cup for you, but the work you've done this season is going to carry through for seasons to come. Thank you so much, and best of luck next season in your new position as Co-GM of the Rage."

"Next, of course, is our other GM, Vsevelod Nikitin of the Seattle Riot. You may have joined partway through the season, but you were a huge help in the locker room all year long. I really loved the scouting reports you did for people who wrote 1,000 words about the Falcons. While I didn't need a reason to keep on talking to the media, it definitely helped a lot of other players become a lot more active as the season went on. It was always nice to get your perspective on our builds through these reports as well."

"I'd also like to thank all of the veterans who helped and guided me all season long. Pejonis, your playoff performance was second to none. Kekkonen, I always thought you had the coolest name and was so excited the first time I realized you were on the Falcons. Mack, holy fuck man you're gonna be an SHL star. Tuzis, though we didn't see you much it was nice to have you stop by from time to time. Bowdy, also someone we didn't see too often, but damn son, you're a good goaltender. Esa, it was so nice knowing you were always in the locker room watching over us."

"And of course, our captain, Brandon Girard. I hope that one day I can be half the player that you are. A leader, who leads both by example and through his words. I've loved having you in the locker room and on the ice all season long. There were a few too many times that I had to fill your skates when you were in the penalty box, but that just means I'm ready to do it full-time next season. Best of luck in the SHL."

"Finally, I'd like to thank my fellow Falcons rookies. Burke, I'm so glad you decided to become active again towards the end of the season there. I loved getting to know you, and I'll be trying to set you up on the first line all season long next year. Lemieux, you were half of the best goaltending tandem in the league this year. It's going to be great having you between the pipes next season."

"Then there's Michael Burch. Your words about the Falcons at the start of this season will forever live on as the words that defined the S24 Falcons. Who would've thought such a simple point task would define the season this year. I've loved being a part of Team Brony with you all season long, and I hope that one day we'll be reunited in the SHL. I can't wait to make a Four Star Cup run with you next season."

Clayton pauses here for a moment, reflecting on the events of the last few days. "I'm ready to take your questions now," he says. "Questions can be about anything, whether that's the season, the playoffs, the draft, or my future."

Interview Favorite moment of the playoffs?

I'd definitely have to go with scoring my first career playoff goal on Earnest Ciarelli. I was firing shots on net from every angle, so to finally have one find the back of the net felt amazing. I had some great games in there, including a two-point night and scoring my second career playoff goal in a win, but no feeling compares to scoring that first one. That moment when my teammates surrounded me to celebrate that goal. . .it was just surreal. It felt great to know that I had been able to help my team out so much.

Interview Vancouver or Montreal?

I love looking at stats and breaking things down based on how the teams performed, but as of yet we don't have fully up to date stats to take a look at. I can give you a more certain and more accurate answer of my opinions after these statistics come out, but if I had to pick just solely on my gut feeling, I'd have to go with Vancouver. I said at the end of the regular season that I could see them dark horsing the West with their performance, and after their utter domination of the Western Conference I could definitely see then continuing this strong play in the Four Star Cup finals. But no matter who wins it, I can tell you this is going to be one hell of a series. Two great teams that had to work to get where they are today.

Interview What Impact do you think losing the Eastern Conference Finals will have on your draft stock?

I think the impact on my draft stock will be negligible, if not positive. I had a good performance throughout the playoffs, and definitely showed improvement in the areas I'd been working on towards the end of the regular season. I put up a decent number of points, and was throwing my body in front of shots left and right in order to keep pucks out the net - in game seven, I even injured my foot when I blocked a shot that was going in. I think the playoffs showed teams that I'm serious about my game, and any teams that saw how I did in the playoffs know what they're going to get with me.

Interview In your opinion, what do you think was the ultimate downfall of your team & how that Impacted their fate?

I think that the most impactful thing that affected us throughout the series was our lack of discipline. I mean, we were giving Montreal powerplay opportunities left and right, which is not something you can afford to know when you want to win a hockey game. Especially since we had some struggles on special teams all season long. When you look at the whole picture, we actually did pretty well on special teams, scoring more on powerplays than we had previously done and coming up strong on the penalty kill more than we'd done during the regular season. But in the end those shorthanded opportunities can really change the momentum of a game. If you look at our final game, we killed off a penalty with ease, but the second the man-advantage ended Montreal still had momentum and they were able to bury the chance. In the end your performance on special teams isn't as important if you can just play a more disciplined game.

Interview The S25 SMJHL entry draft is around the corner; what issue would you like to see the GM's address in terms of the roster and potential Impacts it could have?

I'd like to see us fill some holes in scoring. While that may seem weird since we were the highest scoring team throughout the regular season, we're going to lose quite a few of those players when a lot of our veterans move up to the SHL. Girard was a huge offensive force from the blue line, and I really doubt he'll be with us next year. Pejonis and Kekkonen will likely move up to the SHL with expansion creating more holes, and Mack probably should've been playing in the SHL for the last few years, so the chances of having him again next year are less than none. The impact of losing such great players is going to be huge when it comes to our scoring performance in S25.

Interview You guys are losing a lot of talent this coming season; who do you believe will step up and be an Impact player?

Well, on defense that's going to have to be me. Once Girard leaves, I'm the last active defenseman on the team. Because of that, I'm going to have to do a lot to lead the defensive core of the team, and hopefully inspire a few rookies to step up to the plate. On offense, I think you're going to see Burke and Burch step up as leaders. Burch has been a leader all season long in the locker room and on the ice, and next season it'll be his turn to be the veteran offensive presence. I think you're going to see Burke join him in that regard. He's been getting a lot more active in the locker room, and he definitely projects to be a leader next season. The two of them are going to be spearheading the top line together, so they'll have to lead both by example and with their words. I think these are the players who are going to have the strongest impacts as far as leadership goes next season.

Interview Are there any players you would like to see yourself get drafted alongside?

There are quite a few players I really want the chance to play with in the SHL. From the Detroit Falcons, I'd love to get the chance to play with Burch. The guy's going to end up being a franchise player somewhere, and I'd love for him to take me along for the ride. From the Kelowna Knights, as I've said many a time before, Maria Maximova. She's going to be a star in the SHL one day, and could you just imagine the two of us on the point together? We'd be absolutely unstoppable, and hopefully I get to play with her sometime down the road, if not immediately. From the Montreal Impact, Evandrus Jesster. The guy's a leader, both on and off the ice. He's going first overall for sure, and it's well deserved. Can't wait to see what he does in the SHL. From the Prince George Firebirds, I have two: Luke Fleming and Travis "Kuddles" Kudleychuk. Fleming is an amazing player, and I got the chance to play with him in the prospects tournament while we were both members of the Lions. Kudleychuk I've never had the chance to play with, but based on my interactions with him over the past season, both on twitter and otherwise, he seems like a funny and smart guy. I hope that we end up together. Finally, from the Vancouver Whalers, Zack Hoover. Hoov was on the Lions with myself and Fleming (as was Maximova), and I really bonded with him and with Luke. I know the three of us would love to play together again one day, as we were all disappointed that we were playing on separate teams this season.

Interview What are you going to try to improve the most heading into your sophomore season?

I'll have a better idea of what to work on after I get the chance to talk to Detroit's new GM and find out what he's thinking for me, as well as after I'm drafted and get the chance to talk to my SHL GM about what they want to see me do in the future, but, sitting here right now, I think the biggest things I want to work on are my offensive strengths. Going into the playoffs, I'd been working on trying to become a better player defensively - improving my play with the puck, trying to get down and block shots more often, and stuff like that. But now that it's the off-season, and knowing that we're losing a lot of those players who allowed me to concentrate on my defensive game over my offensive game, I'm going to try and make up for those guys we will have lost when the puck drops next season. It's time to show the league that I can be a top pairing offensive defenseman.

Interview How does it feel knowing The Big Eazy and The Pound The Bodypact were able to beat your team?

Montreal plays a very defensive game, opting to try and keep their opponents from having the chance to play the puck. That paid off well for them this post-season, as they were able to sweep the Scarecrows and took out the highest scoring team in the SMJHL in a hard-fought seven game series. Their physical and aggressive style of play certainly got under the skin of our captain, Brandon Girard, as he let anger cloud his judgment and got himself thrown out of the game - an unfortunate situation, consider he was far and away the best player on our team throughout the regular season.

Interview Top 3 draft destinations?

My third choice team would be the West Kendall Platoon. I could definitely see them being a strong team in the near future, and I'd love to be a part of their team moving forward. While they had some struggles this season, I don't mind that. In fact, I'd like to be a part of a team that needs help moving forward - it puts me in a position to be one of the guys who can help them.

My second choice team would be the Buffalo Stampede. I was very outspoken about my interest in having a Buffalo-based team join the SHL next season, so having that team I would love to have the chance to play for them. I'd also love to play for an expansion team, as you have the chance to get in their and be a big part of their team right away. However, without knowing anything about the team or who is going to play on it, etc. I really can't put them higher on my list. There's just too many unknowns.

My top choice team is definitely the New England Wolfpack. I've gotten to know many of their players this year, such as Dean Colt and Connor O'Reilly, as well as their goaltending prospect Earnest Ciarelli, and I've heard nothing but great things about the team. My interactions with them have been overwhelmingly positive, and becoming a member of the Wolfpack would be a great way to end my first season, and start on my second season in the SMJHL.

Interview Why are you the biggest skrub?

Sometimes it's hard to be the biggest skrub. But then I wake up in the morning, and remind myself that it's an honor to be the biggest skrub. I go about my day, and people always avert their gazes. Nobody wants to look at the biggest skrub. But I keep on walking, my head held high, knowing that there is not, and there will never be another skrub in the world who is more of a skrub than me.

Interview How long until me and you go pro in Rocket League 2v2's?

Are you saying that we aren't already pro? Because I'm pretty sure are. I mean, have you seen some of the plays we make out there? It's fucking ridiculous at times, there's nobody who can possibly beat us. Except Bojo. Fuck Bojo.

Interview Best poni?

It's Rainbow Dash tbh. I mean, how could you really pick anyone else? Dashie is clearly the best of all of the ponies, not just the mane six. From her tail to the mane, and even her personality - every last thing about Rainbow Dash makes her the best pony in the entire My Little Pony multiverse by far.

Interview If the team that drafts you asks you to play with them next season, would you accept?

I don't really expect to be asked to play in the SHL next season, as I don't think I'm quite at a point in my development just yet where I should be playing up there. However, were I asked to play in the SHL next season, I would definitely consider the offer. I'd have to sit down and talk with the GMs to find out why they wanted me up as a true rookie and what role I would fulfill on the team before making a final decision on the matter, but it wouldn't be a definitive yes or no right away. While I want another shot at the Four Star Cup with the Falcons next season, it would be difficult to reject an offer to play as a true rookie.

Interview Like many captains, Girard will be playing in the SHL next season. Which Falcons player do you think has the qualities to be the next captain?

I think you're going to end up seeing Burch step up as one of the leaders next season. He's been very active in the locker room all season long, which is why you've seen such a steady improvement from his start on the third line to a first line player by the end of the season and throughout the playoffs. He was a huge pickup in the third round for the Falcons, and he's going to be going a lot higher in the SHL draft. He's going to be an inspiration for all of the young Falcons next season.

Interview Do you see a future between yourself and @katia?

I think I see a greater future between you and @katia tbh. I mean, you're the one who she reteweeted and thanked for your support even though she has no clue who we are.

Interview Eggy are you going to be disappointed when I draft you, and before you can sign any contract I get to demolish you 20 times in rocket league?

I like the Platoon, and that's why I have you guys ranked so highly on my list, but that second part doesn't sound all too fun. Unless it applies retroactively, in which case I'm pretty sure we're already well over that 20 demolitions mark.

Interview Also f rainbow dash

Um, security, can we please escort this man out? And make sure you take his cat too. Thanks.

Interview A lot of hype surrounds this draft class, which means that many questions you receive focus on it. Instead, I'd like to ask about send-downs: of the non-Falcon send downs, do any stick out in your mind as ones you want to play with, or don't want to play with, in the SHL? How about Falcons send downs?

That's a very good question, and definitely a very unique one that I have actually never been asked.

To answer the first part, of the non-Falcons send downs I most want to play with Kyle Prince. He was a great mentor to me when I first joined the site, and I'd love to be reunited with him someday. I'd also like the chance to play with Earnest Ciarelli. He's a pretty cool guy, and I really like what I've gotten to see from him both on and off the ice. Well, mostly off the ice. He seems to get pulled a lot (Love you storm :wubSmile

For Falcons send downs, the person I most want to play with is pretty clear - Brandon Girard. He's an offensive defenseman in every sense of the word, and someone I'd really love to play with again someday. If I do end up getting the chance to play with him once again, that would be a dream come true. He was a great guy in the locker room as well, which makes the prospect of getting to play with him again an even better one than it was already.

Interview Where do you see yourself among the other prospects ranking wise and what stands you out over the rest?

I think I see myself as one of the top five prospects going into the SHL draft. Where I go in the draft really depends on what teams are looking for, whether that be a forward or a defenseman, but I definitely think I rank somewhere in the top five. As far as what makes me stand out, I'd say it's my activity. I'm really active (honestly probably a little too active at times), and as a result I have one of the largest bank accounts in the SMJHL. I already have enough money to fund a good chunk of my SHL career without having to write a single other article, and could probably fully train myself for the next three seasons already. That right there I think is what puts me above the rest - the fact that I'm super active, and plan to be for a long time to come.

Interview Make your case for the number 1 overall pick.

The first overall pick is going to be Evandrus Jesster. I think you'd be hard pressed to find someone who believes otherwise. He's a class act all around - he's a leader both inside and outside of the Montreal Impact locker room, and he's a really friendly guy who anyone would love to spend time with. He's also one of the best players on the ice in our draft class this season. I think it wouldn't be a stretch to say that he's the only player than you can call a "safe pick" with the first overall, because what you see is what you guys. With Jesster, you're getting a friendly, clean-cut guy who you can easily make the face of your organization moving forward.

Interview Throughout a long season playing the same teams, have you made any friends with any players on any other teams?

I'm going to take this question to mean specifically players who I was not friends with before the season actually started (that is to say, not players who I befriended through the prospects tournament or for other reasons before the puck actually dropped on game one of the season). If that's the case, two players definitely come to mind. First is Earnest Ciarelli of the Montreal Impact. He's a really friendly guy, and I've enjoyed the chance to get to know him. We spend a lot of time playing Rocket League together, and have actually become surprisingly good at it with practice.

I'd also have to go with Travis "Kuddles" Kuddleychuk of the Prince George Firebirds. We really didn't talk much at all until the new twitter format came into fruition, and we started tweeting far more than most of the others who decided to use the new format. While I think he jokingly considered me a "twitter rival" at first and we didn't really talk much, I've gotten to know him a lot better in recent weeks and he's a really cool guy. I'm glad I've gotten to know him better as of late, and he's definitely one of my better friends on a non-Falcons team.

Interview What are some words of advice you have toward the upcoming class on S25 SMJHL prospects headed to Detroit?

While we're a bunch of weird and quirky guys, we're all really friendly and just like to have fun. We really don't shut up. Ever. So don't be intimidated about the fact that we all really like to talk. Also, you guys might want to brush up on your My Little Pony knowledge, because the Detroit Falcons and the My Little Pony multiverse have become kind of hard to separate. The biggest message to those guys is really just to have fun. That's why we're all here, and it's what we all do best. If they come in looking to have a good time, then they're going fit in quite well here in Detroit.

Interview Lastly, are there any SHL teams you absolutley do not want to go to?

There are a few teams I would prefer not to go to, but I won't say which ones they are. There are no teams that I would refuse to play for if I was to be drafted to, however. Whichever team drafts me I expect to be there for quite a few years, and who knows - if it's a team I wasn't too keen on at first, maybe things will get better with time.

Interview What do you think the Falcons should look for in the S25 SMJHL draft?

I definitely think the biggest thing for the Falcons to look for is players who are motivated and looking to have fun, but as well I think we really need to look for scorers. We're going to lose a lot of the people who scored most of our goals this past season which is going to hurt. We can't ignore defense, however - if things go the way I'd expect them to (as far as players being called up to the SHL from the Falcons next season), we're going to want to draft one or two defenders as well, as I'd be left as the only active defenseman on the team, which is not something you want going forward.

Interview Who do you think would be a good replacement for Mook as GM for Detroit?

My top vote would be for mpc. I really think it would be best to promote him from his position as co-GM up to the GM position, as he's already in the locker room and knows what kind of atmosphere we've had all season long. Moving him up into the GM position would keep things as fun as they are now, rather than risking affecting the balance we've had all season. If c were to be passed up for the position, then my vote would go to Mac. He's a great guy, who really deserves a shot at an SMJHL position and I know he's been trying to get one for a while. He deserves a chance to be a GM somewhere, and I think he'd be a worthy replacement for Mook next season if mpc didn't get it.

Interview Do you see yourself being captain material next season?

It's not up to me to decide if I should be the captain next season, but I definitely would not feel out of place if offered the position. I've tried to be a leader all season long, both on and off the ice, and have tried to both encourage and push my teammates, and I will continue to do that next season whether or not I end up being named the captain of the S25 Detroit Falcons squad.

Interview Who's your favourite updater, and why am I not it me?

What is the end of that question. I mean, seriously? "Why am I not it me?" What does that even mean? I don't know what is you not it you, BECAUSE THAT SENTENCE DOESN'T EVEN MAKE ANY SENSE. But I'm willing to answer the first half of that sentence. You're my favorite updater because without you I wouldn't have been able to do anything all season long, and all my work would have been in vain

Interview Gif or Gif?

Jiff is peanut butter. Gif is a moving image It's that simple. I don't know why there's any argument going on about this >.<

Interview Describe Falcon Pride.

Falcon pride is that feeling when you get up in the morning and just want to get the day started right away. It's that whoosh of energy when you're doing something you hope never ends. It's spending time with each other, even though one person only wants to drink tea and everyone else wants to get drunk. It's bonding over something that was supposed to be a horrifying hazing incident, but ended up defining the entire team's season. It's not letting the fact that you've been knocked down keep you from getting back on up again. It's knowing that, no matter where you are or what you're doing, your teammates will always be right behind you, following you every step of the way.

Interview Who is your favorite pony.

It's definitely Rainbow Dash. I mean, come on. How can any other pony ever even hope to compare to Dashie? IT'S NOT POSSIBLE, MAN. I'M TELLING YOU. NOBODY CAN EVER COMPARE TO RAINBOW DASH.

Interview What is something you want to improve on in seasons to come.

I want to be one of the top shot blockers in the SMJHL before moving on to the SHL. It's something I was working on a lot going into the playoffs, and I think I did pretty well when it came to putting my body in front of shots to keep them out of the net. I know I'm not the most physical player out there, and for some people that's not a good thing for a defenseman. So to make up for it, I'm going to do by damndest to keep pucks out of the net in every way I can - even if that means I go home every night bruised and battered from putting my body out there in front of shots.

Interview What do you think about playing for Toronto?

I would love to play for Toronto. It's a great city, I've been there multiple times myself seeing as I live in Buffalo, just across the border. They're an established team that did pretty well for themselves this season, and were I to join Toronto I know I could make a major impact down the line for the team. It would definitely be fun to spend my SHL career. It's a city that knows and loves their hockey, and there's always something to do even when you're not playing.

Interview Anything you've learned from My Little Pony that has helped your play on the ice?

Most players primarily want to score. I mean, think about it. If you were to offer most people the chance to either be the one who singlehandedly wins games for teams, or be the guy who's always listed second or third on the scoresheet, wouldn't you more than likely choose to be the guy who carries everyone? But My Little Pony taught me a different message. From watching the show, I realized that the most important thing for everyone to understand is friendship. Friendship will get you much farther in life than being greedy, or self-centered. And because of this, I learned to work with my teammates more often than try to do things on my own. Sure, I'll join up on the rush or try to line up bombs from the point - I'm an offensive defenseman, it's just what I do. But in the end, when I have the puck I'm primarily looking for my teammates who are in position to thread the needle. I'm going to set up those guys who are in the best position to score, because that's what Rainbow Dash would want me to do.

Interview What's one game or moment that will stand out to you looking back on your first season on the SMJHL?

It'll definitely be that moment in game seven when we all stood there motionless and silent as we watched the referee escort Girard to our bench, and watched him walk down the hallway into the locker room. I knew right then and there that I had to be the one to step up. We'd just lost our captain, and our top defenseman. That was the moment when it was all came to reality. We already knew we were probably losing him next season, and I knew that I'd probably be called upon to replace him on the top pairing next season. But having it happen in such a high pressure situation. . .I'm no Brandon Girard yet. I wasn't ready to step up yet and be the same guy he is. But now that I've been in that position, I know what it's like. I know that next season I have to be stronger, and more ready to fill that role. Because I can't afford to blow it again. My team's going to be counting on me, and it won't just be for one game - it'll be for every game.

Interview Are you now a player that you would take in the upcoming SHL draft?

I would definitely take me in the SHL draft. I had some troubles for a while, but I really turned this around by the end of the season, and I had the best performance I could've asked for in the post-season. Any team that takes me is going to get an offense-first defenseman, who's not going to forget that there's two ends of the ice. Some offensive defensemen will focus so much on their offensive play, that they fail to get back and defend. But not me. Wherever the play is is where I'll be. I'm going to be right up in the action as long as my coach has me on the ice.

Interview Was there ever a moment where you felt you were underperforming or not SHL Material?

There was a time in the middle of the season where I had been working on the wrong aspects of my game. I was working too hard in practice every week on my offensive skills, when I should have been focusing more on how I play with the puck - possessing it, stealing it, blocking it, and stuff like that. I talked to my coaches, and we worked out where the problems in my game might be, and after that I was able to fix everything. Since then I've shown a lot of improvement, and I don't think there are any questions about my performance anymore.

Interview Who do you want as Co-GM?

If I'm going to be completely honest, if mpc ends up moving up to be the head GM of the Detroit Falcons, I am going to be applying to be the team's co-GM. I believe I'd do pretty well in the position, in my time since joining the league I've learned a lot about how the sim works, and I love being someone that other people can look to for help. I received a lot of help from Mook and mpc when I first joined this site, and I want to return the favor to the incoming Falcons' rookie class. And if I were to miss out on this chance to someone else, I can tell you right now I'll be coming back again and applying the next time an opportunity is available.

With that, I'd like to call this press conference to an end. Thank you everyone for all of the support you've shown to me throughout this season, and in the days leading up to it. I look forward to seeing you all at or after the draft. Or whenever I decide to put out more media, which will inevitably be sometime soon because, let's be honest, I can't stop writing the stuff sometimes.

How does it feel knowing The Big Eazy and The Pound The Bodypact were able to beat your team?

Top 3 draft destinations?

Why are you the biggest skrub?

How long until me and you go pro in Rocket League 2v2's?

Best poni?

Interview What Impact do you think losing the Eastern Conference Finals will have on your draft stock?

Interview In your opinion, what do you think was the ultimate downfall of your team & how that Impacted their fate?

Interview The S25 SMJHL entry draft is around the corner; what issue would you like to see the GM's address in terms of the roster and potential Impacts it could have?

Interview You guys are losing a lot of talent this coming season; who do you believe will step up and be an Impact player?
=D>

Interview If the team that drafts you asks you to play with them next season, would you accept?

Interview Like many captains, Girard will be playing in the SHL next season. Which Falcons player do you think has the qualities to be the next captain?

I hope I can be a groomsman, if not I'm sure she will let me into her half of the wedding party. We are close like that. Simply platonic though, don't worry.

Did you see that she responded to us today? Said we probably have the wrong person but she appreciates the support? lol.

Whatever you want. Lol. Maybe the change in my game from the regular season the playoffs? Because my playoffs performance showed more of the player I'm trying to build now that I figured out what I was doing.

Also, updated. Still taking questions on the eve of our 4-3 series loss to the Impact.

A lot of hype surrounds this draft class, which means that many questions ou receive focus on it. Instead, I'd like to ask about send-downs: of the non-Falcon send downs, do any stick out in your mind as ones you want to play with, or don't want to play with, in the SHL? How about Falcons send downs?

First off, congrats on your season.

Where do you see yourself among the other prospects ranking wise and what stands you out over the rest?

Make your case for the number 1 overall pick.

Throughout a long season playing the same teams, have you made any friends with any players on any other teams?

What are some words of advice you have toward the upcoming class on S25 SMJHL prospects headed to Detroit?

Lastly, are there any SHL teams you absolutley do not want to go to?
