Hey everyone, I am here to answer any questions you have for me. I probably wont be able to answer most of these until tomorrow night. Ask away!

What do you think was the key to your success all year long?
Well we had one of the most stacked offensive teams, with send downs making up our whole top six except for me. It was hard for other teams to contain us, as all of our lines could score goals. We also had the best goaltending duo in the league with Austin Lemieux and Lee Bowden, and they are both only going to get better in the offseason, so they will be a force to be reckoned with. Our blue line may not have been that deep, but we had two studs on the blue line in Jasper Clayton and Brandon Girard. It was hard for teams to score goals against our top two pairings. The leadership of all the vets and the management team was also a major factor in our sucess. Brandon Girard is an amazing leader for this team, and Creller and Nikitin were always there for help and guidance if any of us needed it.

How did you feel about being named most improved player on the Falcons?
It was a pretty great feeling. I really improved my effort as the season progressed, so it was perfect to see my teammates recognizing this, and congratulating me on it. I really bumped up my activity in recent weeks, and along with having one of the highest TPE counts in my draft class and a healthy bank account, I think I have established myself as one of the top prospects heading into the S25 SHL draft. I think my draft class helped me in this aspect. There is so much competition, and I have to work my butt of if I wan't to be one of the best. I will be able to continue this level of work ethic once I get into the SHL due to this season, it has really been instilled inside of me.

Why do you think the Falcons fell short in the playoffs?
Our discipline. We are very physical out on the ice, with guys like Girard, Pejonis, and Kekkonen playing a hard hitting game. When you lay out the opposing team as much as we do, you are bound to cause penalties to be called. This was seen in Game 7 against Montreal, where we were leading but after a game misconduct against Brandon Girard, Montreal quickly tied the game, and this lead them to winning the game. We just need to learn to be more disciplined with our game, and I think we have learned that for next years playoffs. I think you will see us taking way less penalties in next years playoffs, which will go a really long way for us on the road to the Four Star Cup.

Who would you like to be drafted with?
My number one choice would be Jasper Clayton. I don't see this being probable though, as we are both top-10 prospects for the draft, unless a team likes enough to trade up in order to snag us both. Other than him, I would love to be on the same SHL team as some of the other rookies on the Falcons. Ending up in the same place with Lemieux or Burke would be great, and I would love to have some familiar faces in my SHL locker room. Even ending up on the same team as some of the vets on the team would go a long way towards making me feel comfortable in the SHL.

Overall thoughts on your rookie season?
It was a really good time. I couldn't have been luckier to end up on an organization as great as the Falcons. We have one of the best management duos in the whole league in Mook and mpc, who have both offered advice and leadership as the season has progressed. My teammates have also been amazing, with the vets on the team being very welcoming as soon as us rookies entered the locker room. Special thanks goes out to our captain Brandon Girard, who was super helpful and provided great leadership for us. I also bonded a lot with the other rookies, especially Jasper Clayton, Austin Lemieux, and Ross Burke. We have had lots of fun continuing the theme of #TeamBrony as the season has gone on.

Out on the ice, it was great to put up the amount of points that I did this season. I finished in the top 10 of all rookies for scoring, and also slowly climbed my way up the Detroit depth chart. I started out on the third line, and finished the season on the first line. It was a great feeling to be trusted with more and more responsibility as the season progressed.

Are you confident in the team, knowing Detroit is losing a ton of talent next season?
Yeah for sure. We will have a stud on the back end in Jasper Clayton, along with a star goaltender and forward with Austin Lemieux and Ross Burke respectively. I trust whoever becomes the new GM of Detroit to put together a solid draft for us, and bring in active players who will help to fill out the rest of our roster. I am not really worried when we have management as great as ours. Detroit has a history of success, and I expect this to continue next season.

Thoughts on Mook leaving and what type of GM you would like to have in Detroit?
I was pretty shocked and saddened to hear the news. Mook is an excellent GM, and we only got to have him for one season. However, I am very excited for his future in SHL management, and I wish him the best of luck with it. I don't think it will be that far in the future where he will be a SHL GM, and I hope to one day be able to play under him again.

We need a GM to come in who can find some steals in this upcoming draft. We are losing most of the star power on this team, so we will need a bunch of great rookies to come in and help us out next season. I would be very happy if mpc was named our next GM. He is a great guy, and we have loved having him as Co-GM on the team this season. I think he is more than ready to help keep Detroit's winning reputation alive.

Favourite moment of S24?
Probably clinching first place in the East in our last game of the season. We had such a tight race with St Louis to finish out the season, which really made the sim time each day very exciting. I would frantically update the index, looking to see if Jack Cross had updated it yet. When I saw that we lost in SO, but still came in first place, I was so excited. We had worked so hard as a team to get there, and we finally clinched it. It was a truly special feeling.

Other than that it has to be the reaction I got from my teammates after writing my first point task. I went all out with a crazy My Little Pony idea, which caught on with my fellow teammates. Jasper Clayton especially ran with this, and he has taken on the role as the team brony very well so far.

Is it true you are the original Brony?
Yes it is true, I was the originator of #TeamBrony starting with my first written point task this season. But the true original brony is a different story. Me and Lemieux work with a guy who is a hardcore brony, like all he can talk about it My Little Pony. Him talking about it gave me the idea to write my rookie hazing point task with a My Little Pony premise. I had one of the rookies to make a brony in the story. After much deliberation, I chose Jasper Clayton. The rest is history. I am just glad it gained the amount of traction it did with my teammates. It really made this season a lot more funny and enjoyable for us. The incoming Falcons rookies better be ready for the second season of #TeamBrony

What are your plans for the Draft?
Well now that Detroit is eliminated from the playoffs I can put all of my effort into getting ready for the SHL draft. I am out on the ice every day, working on my skating mostly. I want to be one of the fastest skaters in the entire SMJHL, and eventually SHL, so I need to put in work to get to that level. I want to be a speedy playmaker who will be able to blow by defenders, getting into prime scoring locations to set up my teammates for goals. I have also been working on my overall fitness level, as I was starting to get winded at the end of the season there. It was tough at some points adjusting to life in the SMJHL, and I want to improve this for next season so I can be impactful out on the ice for the Falcons all season long. I am sure that this will be attractive to SHL teams as well, as I place a large empahsis on my fitness level. I hope to easily make the jump to SHL level play.

How high do you want to go?
I think every prospect will say that they want to go as high as possible in the draft. I would love to go anywhere in the first round. I think it matters more what team I end up on though. There are a couple of teams that I am very interested in going to. No matter what number I am picked at, if I end up on a great team I will be happy. There are so many other talented guys in my draft class, there will still be great players being chosen at the end of the first/start of the second round. So even if I was to fall to this point, I would still be in the company of some pretty great players which would be an honor. I think that I am going to fall in the 6-9 range, and that would make me very happy to be drafted in those spots.

Where would you want/ Not want to go?
I am really interested in the West Kendall Platoon. The team is just finishing off a rebuild, and have a lot of talented youngsters in their pipeline. It would be a honour to be able to join that group of young guys, and help turn the Platoon back into a playoff contender again. The team has great management, and a very active locker room which is what I am looking for in a SHL team. Besides West Kendall, I would love to go to the Buffalo Stampede. I am a Sabres fan myself, and know the passion that Buffalo fans share for hockey. I would love to play in a market as great as Buffalo, and being very close to my hometown at the same time. The teams with ex Falcons in management positions are also attractive as well. I have seen some of them pop into the locker room from time to time, and they really left a good impression on me. It would be awesome to be drafted by the Dragons or North Stars, and be under the management of Esa or JNH. There aren't really any teams I don't want to go to, as I'm sure that all of them will be a good experience for me. I am really willing to go anywhere, I just want to win and have fun on here.


Top 3 in the draft? Who are they?
My projection for number one is Evandrus Jesster. It is a close race between him and Robb Wind, but I think Jesster edges out Wind in terms of his experience. Jesster has already had a hall of fame player, so the ceiling is sky high for Evandrus. Even though Robb Wind has a huge bank account and is one of the most active players on the site, Jesster has the edge in the fact that he is more of a guarantee than Wind. It's going to be interesting to see who goes first out of the two. For the 3rd spot, I am going to go with my homer pick and say Jasper Clayton. The guy is an absolute machine in the media, having one of the largest bank accounts in all of the SMJHL. Along with that, he's the most active rookie on the site besides Wind, but Clayton is quickly catching up. He would have been a clear number 1 in any other draft. The dude is going to be a stud in the SHL, and whoever drafts him is going to be a very lucky team.

Are you at a point in your development where you would draft yourself if you had the choice?
Yeah for sure. I think that I will be a very attractive player to SHL teams on draft day. First off, they are looking for activity. I fit this criteria for sure, as I am on the site posting every day and contributing to the community of this site. I also have a good TPE count along with a very healthy bank account, so I think that there will be several GM's looking to add me to their team. Besides that, I am a very friendly member of the site who gets along very well with everyone I interact with. I think this positive presence would be great to have in the locker room, and for the team's reputation around the league. I learned from the classiest organization in the SMJHL, so I plan on continuing this into the SHL.

What is the SHL looking for at your position?
Well with the right wing position being so stacked in my draft class, and with the majority of them being playmakers like me, I have to separate myself from the rest to make myself attractive to SHL teams. I think they are looking for a high activity level, combined with a healthy bank account and a good TPE level. I also think that they are looking for people that fit well into their locker rooms, so people who are friendly and get along with people well. Having more leadership in the locker room would be good as well, so I can see them looking for that too.

Do you fit the mold?
Yeah I think I do. I am one of the most active rookies in our entire draft class, along with one of the highest TPE counts and a healthy bank account at around 14 million. I believe that I fit the majority of what SHL teams are looking for in a player. I think once the big 5 are gone (Jesster, Wind, Flacko, Maximova, Clayton), it is going to be interesting to see who goes next. There are so many people that can go at 6, so I am pretty excited to see what happens at the draft.

Who have you learned from the most on the Detroit Falcons?
This is a really tough question to answer, as so many of the members of the team have helped me out. Firstly, I would say Mook. I wasn't really sure in what direction to take my player once I got drafted by Detroit, and Mook helped me to figure out what I wanted my player to be like, and then gave me a blue print for what I should be investing my TPE into. mpc and Jasper Clayton have also been very helpful. I had a pretty low bank account like a month ago at around 4 million, and they let me know that it would be helpful for me in the draft to have a much higher bank level. This made me really motivated to earn more money, so I went pretty hard in writing articles after that to get my account larger. I feel like I am sitting at a good level right now, so I can thank those two for helping me out in that regard.

Do you have a favorite teammate?
I'm going to say Jasper Clayton. He just impresses me every day at his level of dedication to this league. I would say he is the hardest working player in our draft class besides Wind. He is a beast in the media, and is a constant positive voice in our locker room. I know that he is going to be the Captain of the Falcons next season, and I think that he is the perfect successor to Brandon Girard. He is going to be a great influence on our incoming wave of rookies that will be coming through the S25 SMJHL draft. Even though we will be losing lots of talent this offseason, I know that Clayton will be one of the guys that will make sure Detroit will remain a winning team.
