MONTREAL IMPACT vs DETROIT FALCONS GAME 7
This game was HUGE!!! Elimination game for both teams it's a game seven and the winner gets to play for the Four Star Cup.....Just wow. Top teams of the league clashed. Detroit already the winner of the Four Star Cup last season, were looking to make it back to the finals to defend their championship. Montreal however was looking for their first Finals appearance in a while as they got kicked out of the first round by St.Louis last season. Complete opposite playoff stories from last year. Battle of the Titans. The game was a great game to watch, equal in all. Both teams with a great season on the line. Grit, glory, bragging rights. Who would win? Montreal came out of this game behind Detroit in the standings, Detroit was atop of league standings going into this as the former champions. Detroit beat Montreal in most categories but Argar and Blues built this team for the playoffs as it took them to the Eastern Conference Finals. Led by captain Evandrus Jesster Montreal looked for glory as the bEast champions. Taking out St.Louis was hard enough, but now they couldn't lose. They proved all the doubters wrong while beating the favorite for the S24 Four Star Cup, Detroit Falcons. Detroit was ahead of Montreal in most categories. Detroit was behind Montreal before a middle season surge saw them pass all teams to be atop of the league standings. With deadly and feared offense from the Detroit Falcons, it was an underdog story. As the Impact would win in 7 against the defending champions. Montreal beat the defending champions, why wouldn't they win the Four Star Cup. It's a dream to win a cup. Detroit had their fair share last year as champions, but for right now.....Vive L'impact!!! Words: 309 |
