Captain America reached out to me today. Nothing too big is going on. The City is having an Appreciation Day soon to recognize all the heroes who have played a role in saving New York over the past year. Obviously, something bad is bound to happen soon.

Cap and I have been working together a lot recently as a team. The two of us and a few others, nothing Avengers oriented, just small things. About two months ago Cap was on Excalibur with Spidey and The Beast from the X-Men. The three of them grew surprisingly close during that time, and since seeing Beast more I have to say he too has grown on me.

Cap told me he has heard rumors of Apocalypse possibly rising some time before the Appreciation Day. I hate when people ruin days dedicated to honoring me. Before I can even call the Avengers to assemble Spider-Man and Cap are off my radar. No worries, I am more concerned with contacting Beast, Storm, and her husband Black Panther.

Terrible news. Not only have the Apocalypse rumors been confirmed, but Beast cannot be found in Xavier’s Mansion. It has clearly suffered an attack. Students cried about a big grey man coming and kidnapping Beast, while others were talking about how the computers all started showing binary code before the attack. The first claim is clearly Apocalypse. He likely has kidnapped and brainwashed Beast into becoming one of his Four Horseman. The second one does not resemble Apocalypse at all, could there be another villain rising?

My fears were again confirmed. The Danger Room was overrun by a computer virus and trapped Storm and Black Panther there before the attack. There was never any hope for them. Ultron has risen.

Cap has contacted me again. We agree to meet back at the Avenger’s Tower and attempt to recruit allies. Spider-Man is still with him. Too bad he’s the most overrated <s>SMJHL rookie</s> Super-Hero ever*.

After searching the X-Mansion I have found some luck. Former Avenger and resident badass Wolverine came out of the battle unharmed and has agreed to come back to The Avengers for the inevitable fights to come.

On our way back from the X-Mansion Wolverine and I attempted to recruit one of the most iconic Avengers of all time: Hulk. With his hard hitting ways he would be sure to balance out the team. Banner would not Hulk out for us though, unsure of the actual threat itself and if he would be able to reign in his Hulk persona in another big city battle. A huge blow to the team without him.

After meeting back at HQ it was decided that tomorrow we had to bring in one more core member of the team. Someone iconic. Someone who truly makes the Avengers, The Avengers. Hawk-Eye.

Overnight a new foe arrised. It would appear that the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants were the initial threat we had worried about all along. They are already strong in numbers and we know what we are facing with them, but they are a tough group, and working under a smart mind in Magneto. Also discovered last night was that the Twins Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are still working for Ultron, while the Horsemen of Apocalypse identities were uncovered by backtracking a list of missing Super-Heroes: Gambit, Angel, Sabertooth. As for Ultron, it would appear he is not in as much control as initially thought, rather Dr. Doom has found way to program the supercomputer to aid him is his evil. The two have brainwashed Storm and Black Panther into joining their team. With heroes joining villains at every turn, this will be the greatest battle the world may ever know.

We arrive at Hawkeye’s home only to discover that being burned out by his latest adventure has forced the all too human hero into a temporary retirement. With the world on the line it is hard not to be angry, and with so many misfires it is beginning to look bleak for the Avengers, but lo and behold from the sky came our savior: Thor, God of Thunder.

Better TV shows? I'd rather drown in puke than have to watch another episode of The Flash. I'd rather pour acid in my eyes than watch one more second of Supergirl.

I'm comparing live action stuff here because I will admit I do not watch cartoons.

Oh god you are so wrong about everything here. Shield is good, Agent Carter sucked. Arrow owns everything though, and Flash is unreal.

Marvel has movies, Ill give them that.
