Yes, regression will finally be changed Towel

We'll be going with JackCross' idea, there was a lot of support for it not only in the HO, but also from the public.

Revamped Regression Scale
Season 1:
Season 2:
Season 3:
Season 4:
Season 5:
Season 6:
Season 7:
Season 8:
Season 9:
Season 10:
Season 11: *regression begins in the off season between 10 and 11* 10% TPE loss. Once they drop to 90, all non-strength stats cannot be boosted beyond 90.
Season 12: *regression* 10% TPE loss.
Season 13: *regression* 10% TPE loss.
Season 14: *regression* 10% TPE loss.
Season 15: *regression* 15% TPE loss.
Season 16: *regression* 15% TPE loss.
Season 17: *regression* 15% TPE loss. Once they drop to 87, all non-strength stats cannot be boosted beyond 87.
Season 18: *regression* 18% TPE loss.
Season 19: *regression* 18% TPE loss.
Season 20: *regression* 18% TPE loss.
Season 21: *regression* 20% TPE loss. Once they drop to 85, all non-strength stats cannot be boosted beyond 85.

This new regression system will be starting this upcoming offseason.

Cap on Banked TPE
In addition to our changes to regression, we'll also be putting a cap on the amount of TPE you can bank per season. This cap will be 100, preventing people from basically nullifying the effect of regression.

You will be responsible for keeping track of your banked TPE per season, same way you do with the PT cap.

This will go into effect starting next season.

New Enforcer Player Type
We'll be adding a template for this soon.

Strengths: Checking, Fighting, Strength
Weakness: Scoring

Fighting starting value: 62
Discipline starting value : 25

Hometown Discount
Simple change here, you'll now need 6 seasons with the same team instead of 5.

Money Transfer Rule
At no time can any team or player attempt to circumvent the salary cap. This includes but is not limited to: (player to player) or (GM to player) money transfers for the purposes of training costs and/or any attempt to provide a signing bonus that doesn't count towards the team budget and salary cap. Any team or player found to be in violation will be subject to severe fines. We understand there could be some gray area here, so if you are unsure if you are about to break this rule, just PM a Commissioner and ask them.

Championship Week
We will no longer be doing CW, this was an easy way to earn 20 TPE and it really didn't provide much to the SHL. Instead we will be replacing this with a team PT which will reward 10 uncapped TPE. More info on this will come from the PT team closer to the playoffs.

Typically that first season is back in the SMJHL So this basically makes it 5 years with that SHL team.

two questions bosses :unsure:

1st: Banked TPE after you spent all the TPE if you stay in SHL right? because I am a send down and If I would stay with only 100 banked TPE ... then VAN would be fucked!?

2nd: What is with the Regression of our new era and the Thing that some Players enter the SHL as full SHL Member after 2 send down seasons? how that effect on the Regression-plan?

Yeah I've seen Jala, gorlab, etc help new teammates with training sometimes when they don't have the cash, is that going to fall under "circumventing cap" now?

Your banked TPE balance has no limit. You simply can not add more than 100 TPE to your banked total each season. Example: if you have 250 banked TPE and earn 150 TPE this season, you can bank 100 making your banked total 350 and apply or forfeit the remaining 50.

Regression is based off of when you are drafted into the SHL from the SMJHL so being sent down for a second season has no affect.

Yes. You can still sell sigs but you can not pay someone else to train anymore. This discourages activity and encourages lower contract values. So if a player needs cash they need to ask for a larger contract or do some type of activity such as making and selling sigs or media of some kind.
