Watch for the Oilers to play a different system/structure then the last few seasons, and not just because they hired Todd. Ian Herbers was put in charge of the team systems ever since his hiring.

Herbers was the old U of A coach who just won back to back CIS titles and coach of the year. Impressive how the Golden Bears dominated and how they played the game. His style of play fits right into the Oilers speed and skill.

I'm excited this year not only because of McDavid, but because of little things like that. Finally the Oilers will be making some ground this season.

Nikitin isn't in the top four. He's battling it out on the 3rd pairing with Ference/Gyrba/Nurse/Reinhart

Although having Schultz in ur top four wont help either unless he figures out his own zone this season.
