It feels good to be the most SHL ready prospect in the draft. Even though my intentions are to go back to the SMJHL next season, it's nice to know that you are among the best in your entire class. Despite what is a slightly weak draft, there are a lot of solid prospects that will make some teams very happy.

There are but I don't think I have to worry about any of them taking me. I've said before that I don't really want to go to the Chiefs just because I've been there before for quite some time and wanted a different start. There are a few other teams I don't really want to go to because I'm not necessarily a fan of the direction they are going in. With all that being said, I am just looking forward to being drafted.

I am leaning towards a disciplined two-way player who is primarily a playmaker. I do intend to be a good finisher as well, but ideally I'd like to be someone who shows the vision to set up my linemates well.

With the likes of Quinn Stevenson, Prince Daniel James and William Zjang and myself coming back (along with Hippo), I do think we have a good chance of doing well. We also have multiple high picks to hopefully fill our major holds like goaltending, as of course not having Selena Bauer does hurt us.

I was a good friend of Ryan's, but I don't really see the correlation between him and I. Keep in mind, Ryan had a long career in the Victory Hockey League prior to being here so it isn't that surprising that he didn't last long here. In fact, when he joined, he said he wouldn't be surprised if he didn't get any farther than ten seasons.

Either way, I am much younger and I believe that I can be a long-term option for whoever takes me. Nothing about Ryan changes that.

My ultimate goal in the SHL is to win a championship. I would ideally like to win some individual awards and just have some really fun experiences with some good teammates. All in all, just want to create some memories and eventually win a championship. That's really what I have always wanted.

Not necessarily. However, with that being said, it did make me a little more offensive based at the moment. I do expect to be good enough to be efficient in every aspect. Instead of being a more well-rounded playmaker right now, I am a playmaker who is more adequate defensively, so all in all, I think the changes won't affect me too much. I am actually a big supporter of the changes.

Simply put, I have the best combination of bank and TPE in the draft. While Cartier has a ridiculous amount of money, he isn't quite as high in TPE. Meanwhile I am only one TPE behind Stevenson and I have more money than him, so I think that should put me ahead. Additionally, I also feel I am the safer pick too given past player's here. While Sullivan did not work as I hoped, he still was a 800 TPE player who found some success.

That's pretty tough because there are a few teams I really like. I did say before that there were two teams I really liked that realistically have no chance of acquiring me. They are the Hamilton Steelhawks and the Texas Renegades. The Steelhawks are so talented and are always in the hunt, and that just seems like a really excellent opportunity for me. The Renegades, on the other hand, have a bit of a reputation but there is nothing better than being disliked by the rest of the league. I will say that those are the top two teams on my list, but ignoring them and looking at more realistic options, I will list three teams I like in no particular order....the Manhattan Rage, the New England Wolfpack and the Seattle Riot. I like all three teams and I think they all have something about them, that I like more than the others.

I will be eating nothing as I expect to be in the crowd and being taken pretty quickly. I think I will grab some chicken and pasta before the draft with the family. We have already scouted out a pretty nice Italian place near by that seems pretty tasty.

Ideally, I'd like to be taken before everyone. However, going into the season, I considered Jackson Cartier my main rival so he would be probably the first name I list. Quinn Stevenson too in all likelihood, as he and I have been in a TPE battle all year to see who is best.

I predict Mia Landvik to go 1st overall after FORFEITED. I don't necessarily believe Landvik is the best player available, but I think the team really likes her and believes she will be the most loyal draftee to take with that first pick.

I think they were solid. Manhattan didn't really have a high pick after two so I think they made a real good pick with their other first rounder to select an active in Xavier Laine. I don't know much about him other than that he seems to be a pretty vocal individual at the moment, which is a good thing when looking for a steal.

Teammates have welcomed me in nicely. They were the only team to talk to me before the draft, so I'm not too surprised to end up there. Mainly Jorec and I have just discussed my intentions to stay down next year, as I would like some more time developing and a chance to help lead Detroit to a Championship.
