This shit started with the Whalers icing the puck and winning the ensuing face off in their own end. Corey Bearss moved the puck into the Colorado neutral zone on the stick of Alex Mbb -who lost the puck inside the Mammoths zone to Maverick O'Dooley for Colorado.

O'Dooley found Leetch who moved the puck into the Whaler end they worked it around to everyone before it made its was back to Leetch who fired a shot high and wide from the point that O'Dooley found -that bitch put one on himself, but he fuckin missed too, OH GOD! FUck me ssideways Leetch scooped up the loosey goosey and scored a goal ooooh maggic...

Damn this muthafucker scored his first goal after a series of turnovers in the neutral zone by both teams. Shit started out with Koch Schroder missing the net after the Whalers won a face off in the Colorado end -William Goddard cleared out of his defensive zone right on to the stick of Bearss who had his pocket picked by Tord Yvel's stanky ass.

Ludwig Koch Schroder intercepted Yvel's pass briefly before Walter Krysak took possession back for Colorado and sent Jack Dabkowski the other way. That fuckers missed shot left the Whalers scrambling in front of Wiener and Denis Lever was able retrieve the loose puck and deflect one in off Brynjar Tusk's juicy ass.

1 - Ekaterina Rudnikova (COL)
Shut the fuckin door on 4 pk's, so did Whener but this chick never cracked on the 20 shots she faced all night. Give her some peanut butter and a nice tortilla she should be able to perform like this all the time.
2 - Denis Lever (COL)
Scored their first goal in juniors and left the game with 1 fuckin hit in just under 10 minutes played. Real fuck up though lost the 1 face off he took so no first star today, buddy.
3 - Matthew Leetch (COL)
Tallied his 8th goal of the season this dude took three shots and blocked one in his own end, solid 21 minute performance for the captain of the Mammoths.

Some unsung bitches

Frankie Latta for the Whalers had 3 shots, won 13/18 face offs and didn't go negative like everyone else in his 18 minutes played. You are sung Frankie.

Maximilian Wehner didn't get any goal support, kept the team within striking distance saving 21 of 23 shots.

Period 1

The teams went tit-for-tat as Sepp Reiter of the Raiders, and Trevor Wilson of the Knights put up goals. Reiter scored his goal merely 4 seconds into the game, after gaining the rebound of Reed Laingâ€™s shot. At 9:44, Alexsander Komarov was sent to the sinbin after being called for Hooking, sending Kelowna to the powerplay for the second time. This allowed Trevor Wilson, with the help of Michael Burrows and Cara Hohenberg, to find the back of the net at 10:52.

A pair of penalties closed out the action for the 1st period. Reed Laing was called for roughing at 12:20 after trying to restore the Raidersâ€™ fan spirit. Then at around 16â€™ minute mark, Gauthier (GOAT) is called for hooking, sending Kelowna to their 4th powerplay which Raiders managed to kill off.

Period 2

The action intensified in the middle period -- in all, 5 goals were scored. Pietra Volkova got the scoring started with a powerplay goal, assisted by Reed Laing and Toivo Kosonen at 1:23. The 2-1 lead didnâ€™t last long, however, as Michael Burrows tied up the game with the Knights 2nd powerplay goal. With the score tied, Kelowna Knights went back on the offensive and made it 3-2 when Trevor Wilson picked up his second goal of the night. The scoring wasnâ€™t done yet, Cara Hohenberg makes the score 4-2 with the assist of Adriana Starosta and Samee Iqbal for Kelownaâ€™s 3rd powerplay goal of the night!. The arena lets out a collective sigh as Alexsander Komarov is called for yet another penalty, sending the lethal Kelowna powerplay back to the ice. But the Raidersâ€™ penalty kill gained possession of the puck and carried it into the Knightsâ€™ zone. Jean-Luc Reflieux, with the breakaway scores the short handed goal, cutting the lead to just 1. Kelowna 4 Raiders 3.

Period 3

The Knights enter the final period hoping to play a safe game and hold the lead. For roughly the whole period they played a shutdown game that was successful. But at 18:16, Pietra Volkova with Leif De Bruin and Hunter Johnson tie the game!

Overtime

The game nearly ends when Alex Reed wins a faceoff against Geronimo Otto and carries the puck into the Knights zone. Reed Laing fires a shot but Cara Hohenberg dives to block it. The puck comes loose and Marc LeClarc gains it on his tick, he rips a slap shot but Aittokallio gets a hold of it. No score in overtime.

Shootout

Knights send out Starosta first, sheâ€™s stopped by Pel! Raiders send out Sepp Reiter who misses the net. Knights send out Michael Burrows who is also stopped by Pel. Isaac Kaiser tries for the Raidersâ€™ 2nd attempt and he scores! Trevor Wilson goes onto the ice to keep the Knights in it. He scores! Pietra Volkova, with the game on her stick, shoots, she scores! Raiders win 5-4.

1 - Pietra Volkova raiders

Volkova came up huge in Game 50. Her two goals kept the Raiders in the game, and then her clutch shootout goal won it for the Raiders. The Raiders captain proved to everyone why she is the captain of this squad. Through 17:47 minutes she got off 3 shots, scoring on two of them. Her ability to score inspired the Raiders even when they were down by two goals.

2 - Trevor Wilson Knights

Also with two goals in regulation, and a shootout goal, Trevor Wilson played a huge game for the Knights. Had Kelowna been victorious, Wilson would have been the hero of the night. His offense kept the Knights energy high and allowed them to get ahead big during the 2nd period. Wilson played 18:24 minutes and had 5 shots throughout the night.

3 - Toivo Kosonen raiders

Playing 22:53 minutes and racking up 2 assists, Kosonen earns the third star of the night. Playing huge numbers on the powerplay and penalty kill, Kosonen proved valuable in all situations throughout the night. While taking no penalty minutes, Kosonen kept cool in heated situations, and by remaining calm and not sending the opponents to the powerplay, Kosonen helped keep the Knights to 4 goals.

Despite any early lack of shots and a strong first period showing from the Vancouver Whalers. The Prince George Firebirds showed their strength with three third period goals to take this important win in the Western Conference between one of their bitter rivals.

Game Summary
</div>

Prince George has struggled mightily this season. They are the definition of a team that plays two-faced hockey. The Firebirds seem to struggle from a confidence problem when more than one goal is scored on them in the game. Star goaltender Ben Waters has kept the Firebirds in games that they may not have had a chance otherwise. The team wavers between shutting teams out or getting blown out themselves. What this may say is that the team may not be ready to take the ice some nights. Could that be a coaching problem or just a confidence problem? The rest of the season will tell the story. Coming into this game the Firebirds are looking to steal some momentum away from the West Leading Whalers. The Whalers on the other hand seem to struggle with a much different problem. They have had trouble producing goals like the rest of the Western Conference up to this point. While their defense has held fast and the goaltending of Maximilian Wehner has been near the top of the league. Many of their losses have come due to an inability to produce on the offensive end. Losing many of their games in 2-1 and 1-0 fashion. Tonight we saw another offensive letdown from the Vancouver Whalers, as their goaltender could not match all the shots flying his way and the offense could not put any pucks in the net.

Vancouver came out strong in the first period. Outshooting the Firebirds by a total of 11 to 5. The Whalers looked hungry in the first period and netted a goal before the 10 minute mark. All signs were leaning towards a solid game for Vancouver. Offensive dynamo Conklin Owen lifted a puck over the right shoulder of Ben Waters and everything seemed to be going well for the Whalers. We saw clean hockey this period. No penalties were taken and the time just flew off the clock.

The 2nd period looked a lot more like the terrible Whalers that we have seen much of the season. Being outshot 11 to 6 by the Firebirds. The Vancouver offense looked lethargic and Prince George was flying around the ice. Especially forward Eduard Selich and rookie defender Noctis Caelum. The solid goaltending of Maximilian Wehner held the score to 1-0 for the Whalers. This were looking alright for Vancouver at this time but things would change next period.

Prince George came out of the locker room flying int he 3rd period. With an early penalty on Vancouver defenseman Ludwig Koch Schroder, Prince George was able to capitalize within the first two minutes on a Power Play goal by second year forward Sven Wolf. Later in the 3rd on a great passing play from Eduard Selich, forward Frederick Boone was able to take the puck and slip it low on the towering Wehner. Things were looking bad for Vancouver now as they were being outshot extremely heavily at this point. The continued pressure from Price George awarded them a powerplay when Vancouver forward Ieuan Llewellyn slashed a Firebirds player. The Firebirds took no time to fire the puck behind Wehner for a 2nd power play goal of the game. Extending their lead and shutting the door on Vancouver.

Welcome to the George Sports Colosseum in Prince George where we will see the first game of this season between the Prince George Firebirds and the Detroit Falcons. Both teams have had very similar results so far leaving them at the top of their division standings.
The starting lineups:

This game was really weird Detroit had the most pressure in the game but was not effective with their tons of chances. PGF on the other hand scored on the few chances they had and won the game trough that and stellar goaltending by Waters.
Overall 35 shots to 23 for the Falcons. 3 goals for PGF and 1 goal for Detroit. The first period was actually in favor of PGF with 11 shots to 6 but both teams failed to score a goal. The Falcons were the better team in the 2nd period outshooting PGF with 14 to 6 but they got scored on twice. The last period was certainly an interesting one. Detroit almost trippled PGF shots with 15 to 6 and Zach Evans let his frustration out by skating into PGF goalie Ben Waters and fought with Ricardelli because of that.

Turning Point:
The turning Point is a combination of the ver good goaltending of Ben Waters and the 2 penalties of Detroit players Merica and Free that led to 2 goals for PGF. These goals gave PGF a huge momentum boost. These Goals combined with Waters godlike performance frustrated the Falcons because they were down by 2 goals but had more shots in the las 2 periods than PGF in the whole game

Actually a very confusing matchup. Waters had a godly save percentage but his advanced stats are the worst I have ever seen. McSieve's advanced stats are ok they are not good but acceptable. Waters on the other hand has really bad stats. Almost 42% of his saves resulted in rebounds and ALL of them were bad ones that gave the opposing team possesion. One of these bad rebounds actually resulted in a goal for Detroit so we have to ask ourself is that solely Waters fault or are his teammates also responsible for this? Not being able to chase a reboun.

3 Stars:
3rd Star:
Ben Waters. At first glance he should deserve the first star but once you look a bit further in his stats you can see that he just allowed way too many rebounds. The worst thing about that these rebounds were all bad ones and one of them even resulted in a goal. Nonetheless you have to respect his 97,14% save percentage on 35 shots.
2nd Star:
Frederick Boone. He had 2 points tonight which consisted of 2 assists. 1 shot on the goal and 2 hits while clocking at a total ice-time of 20.16 minutes. 3:59 on the PP and 5:24 on the PK. He also had face off % of 59,25%. Boone was overall a very valueable asset for his team in that game.
1st Star:
Eduard Selich. Selich was the most valueable player in this game scoring 2 goals on 3 shots and playing 20 minutes in total. 3:59 minutes on the PP and 5:37 on the PK the most out of anyone in this whole game. He was also a defensive presence with 4 hits.

Another disappointing showing from the Vancouver Whalers offense and a fantastic performance from Colorado goaltender Ekaterina Rudnikova leaves the Whalers seeking answers within their scoring.

The Colorado Mammoth have entered this season and surprised. While dipping to last in the West for a short while this season. The Mammoth have since seen a resurgence and have surprised much of the SMJHL. After an abysmal S30 season which saw a first round playoff exit and one of the worst records in the SMJHL for a significant amount of time. The S31 Mammoths look like a completely new team. They are an offensive powerhouse in a league filled with scorers and boast one of the best goaltenders currently playing. The Vancouver Whalers are bit of a quandry. At times they look like easily the best team in the SMJHL. Their defensive and goaltending play is probably the cream of the crop in the SMJHL but they struggle to find the back of the net with their forwars. Which can be a bit confusing considering that they currently ice some of the most deadly scoring threats in the SMJHL in Jon Ross, Conklin Owen and Steven Stamkos Jr.

The first period was not oring. The Colorado Mammoth came out firing. Peppering goaltender Maximilian Wehner with 14 shots in 20 minutes. The Goalie of the Year Candidate held strong and let nothing into the net. But the Vancouver Whalers were showing their inability to generate shots by only testing Rudnikova 6 times in the entire period. The Whalers looked like they were lethargic and the Mammoth looked ready to play. Surprisingly the period ended 0-0.

Second period play between these two teams bogged down even more. The entire period saw a total of 13 shots but what it lacked in shots it made up for in goals. Vancouver defender Ludwig Koch Schroder opened the scoring 10 minutes into the 2nd period with a laser of a shot that beat Rudnikova. Not long after the Mammoth defense responded with a beautiful goal from Maverick O'Dooley, leveling the game at one each. After an interference minor from Whalers defensive defender Brynjar Tusk, Mammoths star defeseman Matthew Leetch fired a fastball right through Maximilian Wehner to give the Mammoth a 2-1 lead. That is all they would need in this game.

The third period was much better for the Vancouver offense. Generating 12 shots throughout the period put pressure on goaltender Ekaterina Rudnikova, but unfortunately for the Whalers none of the pucks could hit the twine and Rudnikova proved again why she is one of the best goaltenders in the SMJHL.

The Halifax Raiders and Vancouver Whalers began the season as the favorites to meet in the S31 SMJHL Finals. Both teams have stacked rosters with SHL prospects just about ready to make the jump to the big time. Both teams are loaded with talent from front to back. Sporting veteran forwards on both teams, solid defensive units with future superstars and two of the best goaltenders in the SMJHL. With the way this game played out, it would be a wonderful series if these two did meet in the SMJHL Finals. These teams are closely matched and could take it the distance.

The first period saw the Vancouver Whalers strike out with a fairly quick goal. Only 7 minutes into the game Whalers defensive stalwart Brynjar Tusk struck with a beautiful shot to beat Georgette Pel. The first goal of the season for Tusk couldn't have come at a better time as he put the Whalers on top and set the tone of the game. The Halifax Raiders had a tough first period with only 3 shots on Wehner the entire period. The whole first seemed to be swarming around the young Pel. Who did well to not let more goals in than the first.

Second period play continued to be slow for the Halifax Raiders. Unable to find their feet, they only put one more shot onto the Vancouver Goaltender than in the first. With only 7 shots in the first two periods, it was unlikely that they'd score on Wehner. Which happened to be the truth. Meanwhile, another first goal was achieved for the Vancouver Whalers. Physical Winger Ieuan Llewellyn notched his first goal of the season to put the Whalers up 2-0. Both first goals of the season could propel the Whalers to a victory in Halifax. Being outshot 19-7 through 2 periods did not bode well for the Raiders.

The third period of the game exploded open. Shots were being taken from every angle by each team. The Halifax Raiders finally showed signs of life. Their first and second line began getting the breaks they needed to pressure Wehner. Only 18 seconds into the 3rd period, Halifax Captain Toivo Kosonen took a rocket of a shot and beat Wehner. Bringing the Raiders within one of the Whalers and opening the door. Much of the rest of the period was shot after shot by each team. Both goaltenders robbing the skaters of many chances. The break that Halifax needed came with only 4 minutes left in the game. Alex Reed took a breakaway and deked out Goaltender Maximilan Wehner for the leveling goal. We were going to overtime!

Overtime proved quite dull due to the lack of chances that were had for either team. The real excitement was about to come. The shootout between the Whalers and Halifax may be the greatest of the season. Both goaltenders matching each other save for save. Finally on the 8th shooter in Vancouver Rookie defender Alex Mbb found a way to solve the nigh unsolvable Pel to give the Vancouver Whalers the win in the shootout. What a beautiful game.

Another close game between two of the best teams in the SMJHL comes down to the wire. Tons of shots and lots of goals presents an flipped version of the first meeting between these teams just a week ago. When goaltenders Maximilian Wehner and Georgette Pel dueled until the 8th shooter in the shootout. Vancouver goaltender Maximilian Wehner holds on for his team in a nailbiting 4-3 win.

The Halifax Raiders and Vancouver Whalers began the season as the favorites to meet in the S31 SMJHL Finals. Both teams have stacked rosters with SHL prospects just about ready to make the jump to the big time. Both teams are loaded with talent from front to back. Sporting veteran forwards on both teams, solid defensive units with future superstars and two of the best goaltenders in the SMJHL. A game of complete opposites from their meeting the week before leads us to believe that a Halifax/Vancouver final would be a thing of beauty.

The first period of the game proved be fairly exciting as both teams would put nearly 10 shots on the others goaltender. Challenging and pushing the other team to match aggressiveness. The Raiders struck first with a beautiful goal for forward Nicklas Flower, his 8th of the season, as he took the puck and danced around the Vancouver defense to beat Wehner. But not long after on the powerplay, physical forward Ieuan Llewellyn placed a perfect shot to beat Georgette Pel to keep the game level.

Second period hockey was even more exciting. The offensive game started ramping up for both teams. But Vancouver took it to another level. Peppering Pel with an impressive 17 shots in the period and putting two into the net. The first of which came on a 2nd power play and a monster shot from veteran defender Victor Lindstrom. Sandwiched between the two Vancouver goals was a beautiful shot from Isaac Kaiser which beat Wehner and leveled the game at two. The final goal of the period came on a blistering shot from offensive star defeseman Ludwig Koch Schroder. A beautiful pass from Steven Stamkos found Schroder at the point and he unleashed. Beating Pel and putting the Whalers up by one.

As we went into the 3rd period, the Halifax Raiders knew they had to do something to pull this game even again. Unfortunately for them they were not ready for the dazzling show that Steven Stamkos Jr. was about ready to put on in front of their defense. With an amazing outlet pass from Adam Kaiser (not to be confused with the Raiders Isaac Kaiser), he danced and pirouted around the Halifax defense. Making Georgette Pel lose his movements and he blasted it passed her and into the net. The Raiders weren't done but it was a little too late as Leif De Bruin, a rookie for the Raiders, scored for the first time this season on a brilliant shot. But despite the best effort of the Raiders, this game belonged to Vancouver.

Game 60: Vancouver Whalers 2 (10-5-0) at Detroit Falcons 5 (6-5-3)

SETTING THE STAGE

The Whalers are coming into the contest having lost their last two games. Prior to that short losing streak, the Whalers had won six games in a row. The Falcons come into the game having just ended a five game losing streak. The most important force in this game may be regression to the mean, with the Falcons also having the home ice advantage. The Falcons had given up four goals in three of their losses during the recent losing streak. They squeaked out a 4 to 3 victory against the Scarecrows in their last contest. The Whalers had two shutouts in during their recent winning streak, but only managed to score 3 goals in the last two games.

GAME SYNOPSIS

The Falcons dominated play in the first period from the opening faceoff with eight shot attempts in the first few minutes of play. The momentum swung to the Whalers for a couple of minutes until the the approach of the midpoint of the period, when most of the play stayed near center ice. At about 11:30 of the first period Brock Bailey intercepted a Steven Stamkos Jr. pass and hit Wiljiam Zjaing in stride. Taro Tsujimoto knew that he could not win a foot race with Zjaing, and took him down with a hooking penalty at 11:40. The Falcons capitalized on the penalty at 12:37 when Luke Atmey 4 scored from Alexis Metzler and Jari Sinikka. Less than two minutes later, it was Sinkka’s turn again from Metzler to make the score 2 to 0 in Detroit’s favor. The Falcons outshot the Whalers 16 to 7 in the first period.

The Whales scored right off the 2nd period opening faceoff to get back in the game on Ludwig Koch Schroder’s 5th of the season from Frankie Latta. Both teams played passively through the first ten minutes of the period, but at 10:50 and at 16:03 Kyle Kylrad scored his 5th and 6th goals of the season on the only two shots on goal to that point of the period. The two goals chased Max Wehner from the net and brought out Mikael Greene in relief. With 55 seconds remaining in the period, Prince Daniel James let the shot go from the point and it beat Greene for the perfect 100 percent shooting for the Falcons in period number two. The score was Detroit 5 and Vancouver 1 at the end of two.

The Whalers played for pride in the third period and outshot a Falcons team that was playing a passive prevent defense 15 to 4 for the period. Frankie Latta got his 3rd of the year at 14:27 for a morale boost heading into the next game. The final score was Detroit 5 and Vancouver 2.

TURNING POINT

<div align="center">With about four minutes remaining in the/second period, Josh Merica won a faceoff in the Vancouver Whaler’s zone and got the puck to Kyle Kylrad who beat Wehner to put the game out of reach.

This was a dominant performance by the likely Rookie of the year. Kylrad kept firing away, and in the second period he and the Falcons were perfect as all their shots found the net.

2 - Jari Sinikka (DET) 1 Goal,2 Assists, 3 Shots on Goal, 2 Hits, 1 Blocked Shot, +1
Sinikka factored in on the first three Detroit goals including an assist on the game winner by Kylrad. Sinikka worked hard on the forecheck on that play to gain possession after a dump in by the Falcons. In addition, Sinikka anchored blue line for the Falcons perfect penalty killing unit.

3 - Frankie Latta (VAN) 1 Goal, 1 Assist, 4 Shots on Goal, 2 Hits, +2
Any time your team loses by three goals and you post a +2, you should get some sort of honor. Latta and his line never quit and it shows in his stat line.

TARO’S HONORABLE MENTION (THE FOURTH STARS)

Llewellyn’s hitting help to drive the play while he Latta, and Owen were on the ice. Llewellyn did a nice job retrieving a loose puck after Schroder was hit by Alexis Metzler. The play eventually led to Latta’s third period goal.

Merica’s greatest contribution was in winning nearly 59 percent of his faceoff opportunities. One of those faceoffs was won cleanly to Kylrad, who potted the back breaking fourth goal for the Falcons.

A interesting game that had a nice turning point in the middle of it. The power play of PGF came through for them and had a large impact in this game. Vancouver again had to many penalties against them just like in the playoffs last season. Both goalies showed us a good performance. PGF outshot VAN with 30 to 23 shots and 3 goals to 1.
The Whalers dominated the first period in shots and had a lot of pressure which peaked into a goal that gave them the lead. The only exciting thing in the 2nd period were the penalties and the resulting power plays which gave PGF a lot of scoring chances that weren't used. The whole course of the game turned in the 3rd period with PGF scoring 3 times and winning the game because of stupid penalties by VAN which led to PP goals.

Turning Point:
The turning Point in this game are the penalties done by VAN players in the 3rd period Ludwig Koch Schroder took a holding penalty which resulted in a power play goal for PGF that tied the game and gave them some hope, confidence and momentum. Ieuan Llewellyn's slashing penalty also resulted in a PP goal for PGF that was the nail in the coffin for this game. The VAN players were tired from all the PK time. This was effectively exploited by PGF allowing them to score 3 goals in the 3rd period.

A really good goalie matchup which does not deserve a loser. Both goalies had an outstanding performance. Both had amazing stats but there has to be a winner and that winner is Ben Waters. He had a 95% save percentage and the same good save percentage, granted yeah he had 1 bad rebound but that was his only one and it did not result in anything important. So yeah this is one of the best goalie performances in this season so far and there really shouldn't be a loser. Wehner did everything he could but his teammates didn't really help him defensively.

3rd Star:
Maximilian Wehner. He did everything he could to keep his team in the game and secure a win. Posting an elite statline with a save percentage of 90% and elite advanced goalie stats. But there is only so much one person can do and that was his downfall today.
2nd Star:
Barak Obrana. The only player that had 2 points today. He scored 1 goal on 3 shots today and also had an assist. Obrana was the key person for PGF today because he played 23 minutes and 37 seconds today. He was a game high 4:36 minutes on the ice for PGF's PP and clocked 1:42 PK minutes. Obrana also was a defensive presence delivering one hit.
1st Star:
Ben Waters. A prime example of a goalie winning the games for his team. From all the games I have covered I never saw someone posting such a good statline. A 95,65% save percentage and only 4,55% of the shots he saved were rebounds. This is something every team wishes that their goalie would do for them. He certainly let in 1 goal which is a black spot on this bright game for him. His low rebound % might also have something to do with his teammates only allowing low% shots on him.

Welcome back ladies and gentleman to tonights post game show, tonight we will be covering a tight affair between the St Louis Scarecrows and the Colorado Mammoths.

The game started off with early scoring, less than 2 minutes in the game gone, Vincent Garland smacked home a rebound off Jack Dabkowski's shot, Oliver Lake created the play when he picked off the pass in the defensive zone and created a counter attack.

This set the tone for the period, but not in the way you think. St-Louis turned on the defensive guns, and played trap the rest of the period, they managed only 5 shots on target, but Rudnikova was perfect. St Louis' defensive strategy paid off on their end of the ice, only allowing 2 more shots all period.

In the 2nd period, St Louis continued their great defensive play, they only allowed 5 shots all period, however, they managed to turn the great defensive play into some scoring chances, managing 11 shots on goal in the 2nd. Rudnikova was excellent however, but the Crows found a way past her late in the 2nd, with William Godard in the box, Visser was manning the blue line, setting up Weber with a one timer, and King Hanley got a piece of it, leaving Rudnikova with no chance.

Much of the same happened in the 3rd, St Louis only allowed 3 shots against, and they increased their offensive output, with 15 shots in the period. Late in the game, St Louis putting tons of pressure, and Kristians Rozentals took a penalty, giving the Crows a powerplay for the last minute and 9 seconds in the game, St Louis tried to clear the puck in the dying seconds but Visser blocked it, passed over to Weber who fired a laser to the back of the net, with just 9 seconds left in the game, to give St Louis the 2-1 win.

The 3 stars for this game were;

1 - Max Weber (STL)

Weber had a great game, he was a beast on the score sheet, his 2 shots on goal came on the power play, and a 3rd effort resulted in a deflection for the first goal, and his final shot won the game for the Crows.

2 - King Hanley (STL)

Hanley had a goal in the 2nd period, which was much needed for the Crows as they couldn't find an answer to the Mammoths excellent goaltending, he also managed 3 shots and a hit.

3 - Oliver Lake (COL)

Oliver Lake was trying to lead by example tonight, in a losing effort he gets the 3rd star, but he might have gotten the first star had his team won the game. With the onslaught Colorado was enduring, Lake managed an assist on the first goal, had a great hit, finished with a +1 and had 4 incredible shot blocks.

A matchup between the juggernauts of the Western Conference. The high flying Kelowna Knights come into Vancouver to face the lockdown defense of the Whalers. While the Knights showcased their offensive firepower early with a load of shots and early goals. The Whalers showed they can keep pace with anything Knights throw at them and goaltender Maximilian Wehner proved which team had the better goaltender.

The Western Conference is loaded. The Colorado Mammoth are an up and coming team with a bright future. The Prince George Firebirds are down and out but won't continue to be that way. They know how to scratch and claw every year. But when you talk about the cream of the crop, the best of the best in the West. You talk about the Vancouver Whalers and the Kelowna Knights. Both teams are packed with talent and can strike at any moment and put a game away. So when you get two teams like this meeting you'll end up seeing a ton of fireworks.

The first period was all Kelowna Knights. They came out absolutely flying. They were up and down the ice and Vancouver looked lost. Just three minutes into the game Knights rookie rifled a shot passed Wehner for the first goal of the game. Looked like it was going to be a long night for the Whalers. Ten minutes after the first goal the Knights struck again and this time it was one of their deadliest skaters. Geronimo Otto took the puck and slipped it passed his German teammate Wehner to put Kelowna up by 2 and looked to be firmly in control of this game.

The second period slowed down quite a lot. The Whalers were looking able to settle in a bit against the speedy Knights. The defense started to clench down on the quick forwards of the Knights and shut down the passing of Cara Hohenberg. Vancouver finally counterpunched when rookie Taro Tsujimoto took the puck and slipped it past the #4 overall pick in the SHL draft. The Whalers looked like they were settling in nicely for a change.

Third period hockey was the most exciting in this game. As the shot count was huge. With a total of 24 shots between both teams, this period was going to cause some damage to the scoreboard. Kelowna struck first in the 3rd period with a fancy goal by S30 rookie goal leader Trevor Wilson. Putting the Knights up 3-1 and looking to possibly seal the game for the visitors. But a hooking by Cloud Strife would change everything. Having the man advantage, Conklin Owen knew what to do. He fired a shot and beating Aittokallio and pulled the Whalers within a goal. As the period carried on another penalty by the Knights would change the balance of the game. Having rookie Cory Knouse in the box for 2 minutes, the Whalers capitalized again with their tenured defender Victor Lindstrom beating Aittokallio. Tying the game at 3 each. But the Whalers weren't done yet. As only 30 seconds later Steven Stamkos Jr. took the puck and hit the twine behind Aittokallio. Winning the game for the Whalers.

It was all started by Eduard Selich > turning the god damn puck over deep in the Kelowna zone, the Knights were being a bunch of dirty fuckin cheaters and got caught trying to spring Otto up the center of the ice. Never pass in front of your own goal especially when you suck to begin with. Selich found the puck back on his stick after Cloud Strife held the zone on Kottbulle's stretch pass. He missed from the left wing boards but this chick had the errant shot ride the wall around to her where i don't fuckin know she shot it probably, but what if there was time to skate back to Ben Waters flash her titties then go coast to coast. OH! I can see it now! O'Sullivan with the puck on a string gets both nipples fully exposed before curling around her own net with tons of momentum. Fuuck another penalty, this time Yaneder the child Dilder went off for thrashing and slashing his wrists. The Knights PP worked for a little over a minute before getting a whistle to that left a draw to the left of Aittokallio. Otto who's 53.85% on the face off dot this season with his fuckin 61 ST 61 FO won it back for Bergalk who scored who knows, maybeeeee he just ripped one in while there was traffic in front after the draw... But whaat ifff.... right before the face off Bergalk went.. went itnto a different dimension where he was again a child, reliving the time his dad told him to stop being such a fuckkin pussy and just fight the kids calling him names at school... So he went to school but got to scared to fight... he knew without a doubt he would lose. Then Bergalk just wiped his ass with napkins at lunch and stuck them in a few kids folders while they ate. Then with that thought he laughed at Ben Waters for having sniffed a little of his shit and put one home on em to win the game.

oOoh a goal aaaand an assist my oh my Lykke went out with two shots a hit and a mufuckin blocked shot in 20 minutes played. Spend 4 mins on the Pk that surrendered 0 goals.
3 - Tomas Csonka (KEL)
Goddam 7 minutes played, but the game winning goal was on this dudes stick. He won 5 of 10 face offs and might have caught a rash on the bench ya know what i maennnn. he was jerkin it cause he didn't play alrighhht

Frederick Boone went 11/20 on the dot with a +1 rating hit 5 bitches and took 3 shots on goal and 1 to the dome off the stick of Alex Light in the 3rd period.

Vasily Horvat took 3 minors in the game the Knights killed off, he hit 5 people in 19 minutes played.

Pimp Trick Gansta Clique Edwards only played nine minutes but spent 4 in the box, took 3 shots tho.

End of the god damn first period, both teams scrambling around just trying to find a hole to stick their dick and calm down and oddly enough Reed Laing is going to be just the character to set things straight for the Raiders.

The play began on the stick of Hocolate behind the Halifax net, Collin Banning found the face of pussy power Reed Laing moving into the neutral zone. She weaved into the Vancouver end and and sent one onto the stick of Reflieux a simple give and go at the blue line that saw Volkolva picking up the one touch pass was enough for the speedy Russian to break in behind the defense and beat Wehner on the backhand.

Ouhhee 5 mins into the 2nd and the Raiders score the final goal of the game. Leif De Bruin won the face off against Seppo Repo in his own end to break the Raiders out. He took a hit from Repo later in the sequence to hit Niklas Flower in the neutral zone. He led the Raiders into the attack zone and held on for a moment before swinging one around the boards to Kosonen. That fuck pivoted after fishing the puck free and sent one right into the wheelhouse of De Bruin at the top of the right wing circle just a few feet away and De Bruin made no mistake with the shot. Kept it hard and low and was lucky enough for it to go in off the body of a Whaler defender.

The future Dragon and his sexy dark lips shut the Whalers out on well. 15 fuckin shots, but nonetheless first star in the game.
2 - Leif De Bruin (HAL)
Dude won 11 of the 18 face offs he lined up for, hit some bitch and took two shots for his third goal of the season. Played a little over 15 and a half minutes with a decent spread on both the PP and PK. What a guy
3 - Pietra Volkova (HAL)
Scored the game winner in the first period took four fuckin shots in under fifteen minutes played so good god damn production eh.
