TASK TWO: What has been the biggest game of the playoffs so far? Can be either SHL or SMHJL, 150 words.

I think the biggest game of the playoffs had to be Game 1 of the finals, between the Calgary Dragons and Manhattan Rage. The Dragons got off to a tremendous start in the 1st period, after letting up the first goal to go down 1-0. The Dragons scored 5 unanswered in the 1st, to take a 5-1 lead after only one period. They instantly proved to the Rage that they meant business, and that they were here to show what they were made of. They carried that momentum for the rest of the game, eventually winning 7-2. No nonsense there for Calgary. Hell, the team leader for many seasons, Esa Anrikkanen scored 4 goals himself, solidifying himself as one of the best players of today in the SHL. With the whole league watching, Calgary destroyed Manhattan in Game 1, and the infamous VLAD McZehrl was pointless with a -2. Talk about playoff hockey. This definitely stunned the Rage, as the Dragons went on to win the series in only 5 games.

TASK FOUR: Who is your choice for MVP? Must be 150 words.

My choice for the playoff MVP, after all the post-season is said and done, is none other than Calgary Dragons goaltender Hunter Wong. There are other players who could have won this award for Calgary, like Alex Mack's 7 points in those 5 finals games, with 3 assists in the final game. Or even Tommy Creller's 6 points, where he had 4 goals and 2 assists in those 5 games against Manhattan. Esa Anrikkanen made a big splash in the finals as well, where he had 6 points, and all of them were goals. Obviously, for this MVP nod I'm talking solely about the Championship Finals performances. I have to go with Hunter Wong, because he stopped 109 out of 118 shots, giving him a save percentage of 0.924%. Not once did Wong allow 4 goals against Manhattan either, who has a lot of offensive players, including VLAD McZehrl. In two games, Hunter Wong allowed 1 goal, and in two games, he allowed 2 goals, with 3 goals only happening once in their only loss. This all gave Hunter Wong a goals against average of 1.80. I think against the Manhattan Rage, those are stellar numbers, and Wong deserves MVP.
