When you think of the great franchises in sports history what exactly is it that makes them great? Is it championships? Or is it more than that? Some would say the truly great organizations build a culture first and the awards will follow.

Well in Montreal we take the idea of culture seriously, and we seriously win. Our victories and our defeats are shared, and we move together as one. There is something truly special about the atmosphere of our locker room and the legends who have called it home at one time or another. We have set records, and broken them again. We've won cups, we've had MVPs, and we've had a hell of a lot of fun doing it.

So, if you want to learn from the best, and join the Militia in their fight to avenge their most recent playoff heartbreak, please take a few minutes and answer the questions below. Let us know a little about yourself, and hopefully we'll call your name on draft day.

Have you ever played in a sim league before - hockey or otherwise? Which? I'm pretty much one of the oldest dogs here, that shows up out of nowhere. I debuted here back in S2.

Which aspect of the SHL sounds like the most enjoyable to you?

Are you interested in eventually holding a league job? No. I won't have the time to do that come summer.

Are you interested in learning to make graphics? When you're cash strapped, and still want to do graphic work, it's kinda hard. I gotta take a pass on that, sorry.

What do you expect out of your first season? Not much. It's not like I built a scoring machine, so I have to expect little from myself on the offensive end. You won't see my name much on the scoresheet, but it's the little things you'll notice on the defensive end.

Why do you want to play for the Montreal Militia? Because it's a junior team that is eligible for the S33 SMJHL Season. I have absolutely no preference in teams, I'll play for anyone. I hate answering this question because I'm completely unbiased in terms of teams at this point.

Would you prefer to have dinner in a large group or with one or two friends? Small group. People I know that will make me laugh because of my success and failures.

What did you do last weekend? Coached a mini boys basketball team on Saturday, played a men's league basketball game on Sunday.

Who is your hero? Interestingly, Stone Cold Steve Austin and Shaquille O'Neal. They made me feel like I can say anything I want because I am my own individual that doesn't need to conform to any systematic norm.

I understand the celebration done (which I think was from Yakupov), but I believe it was in a regular season game with not much on the line. He can't hold a candle to Theoren Fleury's ice slide celebration.

Which aspect of the SHL sounds like the most enjoyable to you? It's growing with teammates and the others players.

Are you interested in eventually holding a league job? Right now, I'm focusing on myself as a player. Maybe in the future, i might be interested to have a job in the league.

Are you interested in learning to make graphics? Yes, it's looks very fun and it's use a lot of creativity.

What do you expect out of your first season? Being an important player for the team and getting the championship.

Why do you want to play for the Montreal Militia? Montreal is legendary place in hockey. There's alot of players who won in Montreal and they've become a legend. I want to be part of this culture, it will be a great honor to join Montreal Militia.

What did you do last weekend? I have done some training to get ready for the SHL.
