For their conduct in the JP Punishment thread, kit and JPL have both been given a 2 week forum suspension, a 10 game suspension, and a $5,000,000 fine. The time that they have spent off the site so far counts for their time served, so they will be able to post again next Saturday.

Excerpt from rulebook:

a. Personal attacks, excessive trolling and trolling in a malicious way, baiting and spamming, racist or homophobic remarks and [b]any other types of comments that are meant to slander members of a certain religious or ethnic group will not be tolerated.
i. The punishment will be a mixture of game suspensions, fines and posting restrictions, judged based on the level of severity of the offense.
ii. Repeat offenses will be punished more harshly. Accomplices to any punishable offense, including ganging up on a specific member, can face up to as harsh of a punishment as the original offender.
iii. Please keep in mind that while the rules are more lenient in the Thunderdome, you can still get suspended for behaving too extremely in this sub-forum as well.[/b]

While this is Kit's first time being suspended, we recognize his actions around the boards have been becoming extremely aggressive. We are also taking into account the him making light of one of the most tragic events in history in the JP Suspension thread, which has no place on the SHL

JPL was warned previously after making his atomic bomb post, and continued in the JP thread with inappropriate comments much like kit. However, due to the previous warning we feel that the punishment should be the same for both kit and JPL.
