So, Crossfit how's the knee feeling after the crazy offseason you had with your off-ice rivalry with The Game HHH?
CJ: Well I was able to dispose of that imbecile HHH after he tried ending my career after a simple visit to SmackDown in St.Louis. Flem's feeling better after the beat down he suffered from John Cena as they patched things up at the WM After Party. The Doctors told me that would possibly miss more then half of the season because of the ACL and MCL tear in my knee, but putting in hard work in rehab going 3 times per day along with a healthy meal after each workout sped up the process, in order to get back to shape physically, game shape will take a while since the preseason is really only a testing ground for lineups and pairings and such
Care to comment on the Kit and JPL situation?
CJ: Both are nice guys and sucks that both guys will miss the first 10 games of the season, but what can you do when HO lays down the hammer you can't really do anything about it and learn from the mistakes you have committed and hope both those guys learn from those mistakes and come back and help the Crows get back into the playoff hunt once again.
Seems like you and Matthew Auston have been forming a nice tandem on the first line with absence of Kit, care to comment about the new found chemistry you guys have?
CJ: We like to call ourselves the Auston Matthews and William Nylander of the SMJHL as we have been firing an all cylinders ever since the GM put us together and Matthew Auston has been a great replacement, but let's not forget about the Fantastic Fin Rasmussen as he's finally getting the first line time he's been deserving and he was one of the key aspects of our team in the season, it's basically adding Jesse Pulijujarvi along with Auston Matthews and William Nylander, how cool would that be in the NHL?
So let's cut to the chase are you and Sasha Banks are an item, what's going on between the two of you as recently the media as leaked stories of you guys together and being shipped as an item...?
CJ: Where are you from? Are you with TMZ? Looks like you are, please media lady get rid of this stupid idiot and ban him from the Crows Lockeroom area immediently. This is a hockey related press conference not a huddle for gossip about my personal life and things I do outside of hockey. Mind you're business as she and I would like for the you guys not talk about us being together as we would like some respect for private lives.
I will be now opening the floor to the rest of the media to ask questions.
Hey Crossfit, who is your favorite active pro wrestler?
It's Seth 'freaking' Rollins of course, I'm intrigued on how's going to get booked after his match with HHH. It looks like he's going into a 2-3 month feud with Joey Samoey himself Samoa Joe and then what, he really reminded of my favourite Superstar all of time Edge during his heel run when he first broke away from the Shield and plus the Shield are one of my favourite groups of all time. I saw leak of him trying out his supposed new finisher in video of his dark match that he had last week. If you're talking about the blue brand it obviously has to be AJ Styles he's been one of my favourites since his days in the X-Division with TNA and him being in the Christian Coalition with Tomko and Christian. Really cheering on my boy Seth every time he's on Raw.
Who is the fastest rising player on the St. Louis Scarecrows?
It's gotta be Matthew Auston aka <a href='index.php?showuser=2548' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Dweaves08</a>, he's currently leading the team in points and he has really came into his own in the past few season he's been in the team. He's one of the silent leaders of them as he's leads by example on the ice for the rooks that are on the team and we've formed a great tandem sort of like the Matthews-Nylander tandem in Toronto along with Rasmussen who's basically the Hyman with a better scoring touch not that's a knock on Hyman but Hyman really isn't known for that as his job on the team is to get the puck to Matthews.
What does the future look like in 5 seasons for Crossfit Jesus, ideally?
I really see myself a Four Star Cup Champion with the Crows and a Challenge Cup Champion with the Rage. I know what you think, oh the Crows are still 'rebuilding' but I really think we will finally get over the hump of making the playoffs with this very talented roster. While MAN is looking to make the playoffs after being so very close last year being eliminated in the last day of the regular season. I'm hoping to insert their lineup next year or the year after depending on what the team needs where Kez thinks I can insert in. Would like to win a scoring title and MVP during those five seasons. I really can depict the exact future but I believe future is looking for me.
Who is your most hated opponent in the SMJHL? Can be a person or player, or both.
Can't really comment on that. Haven't been a heated playoff matchup yet in my career as that's yet to be determined.
Who do you hate the most in the SHL? Can be a person, player, or both.
Easily Samee. He's a fucking attention whore, who gets wrecked in the thunderdome on a daily basis and he's an irrelevant Sens fan who actually thinks the Sens are bonafide playoff contender when they're so fucking trash and lucky with that bitch Melnyk ruining the olympics but sucking off Bettman in the owners meetings and such. Anyways he's probably the biggest piece of trash on this site as he just comes here to stroke is already big ego. Don't really like talking negative about people but the question needs to be answered
What is your greatest goal that you want to achieve in your hockey career?
Winning the Challenge Cup, that's the most important thing to me and the sole reason I entered myself in the SMJHL Entry Draft to begin with. Like when the American Dream Dusty Rhodes told DDP when DDP was really doubting himself when winning the big one in the WCW World Heavyweight Championship. After DDP went on rambling about his career but then he mentioned he wouldn't win the title, Dusty stopped him in his tracks and then asked what he was doing all this for if Dallas doesn't think he's going to be winning the championship. I was refer to that story whenever I think about giving up in the SHL as they are many people especially who push me to be better.
What makes you a good prospect in your opinion?
Well besides my meteoric rise in point production and my leadership qualities being awarded Captain for the Crows for the S34 Season, I really have the intangibles that seperate me from the others. I put my teammates first instead of me as even though I'm a Sniper I always survey my options on the ice before I put the puck on net to the goalie and sometimes I puck the puck on net as an intentional rebound for one my teammates to capitalise on leading to a goal. It was evident last year that I score my goals bunches as I had a really slow start to begin the season last year and was able to muster up a respectable 20 points in 50 games. While this season has been amazing as I so far have 6 points in 5 games as my line has been killing it so far in early n the season, it's still early though but I have a real good feeling about it. But most importantly dedicated to making my self the best player in the league and no one will stop me
Would you fight a fellow St. Louis Scarecrow to the death for Sasha Banks hand in marriage?
Bros before hoes man, you know the rules even though she's far from it but it'll probably take me a good week for me to not stop talking about her. She's changed the way I look at women as less of a symbol and more the actual human being we have a lot similar characterstics and are really good friends, so that's all I have to say about this topic. I heard some crazy stuff with Charlotte and our GM <a href='index.php?showuser=2310' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-10'>JKortesi81</a> you may need to talk to him about those stories to see if they're true or not.

Ummm, clearly you can't stop drooling over her again :lol:. JK but she is one of the hottest females on the palent and probably has gotten a lot of D in the fair share years . But in all seriousness she's been a role model to many little girls and women as she's showed that she can be sexy and strong at the same time
Why do you think the head office refuses to update our rookies?
THE VOODOO, it's just laziness by the HO and since Kit is on our team they gave us a random penalty of not updating our rookies. I'm glad our rooks raised their voice and concern to HO and Allen about our rooks not getting updated, but that isn't the huge concern as we're on a massive winning streak at the moment so it's the least of their worries at the moment.
What is your favorite cereal, and why is it Captain Crunch?
Cause I'm Captaincy material . I'm not a big cereal guy but when I do eat cereal it's usually Frosted Flakes or Fruit Loops and do love some Fruity Pebbles just like a certain WWE SuperStar.
What are your plans for this season?
Gonna state five of my goals for this season. The first is goal is to lift the Four Star Cup over my head. Second is to score 20 goals along with at least 20 helpers. Also to be more disciplined and take less penalties. Take more shots on net as that will create more chances for my teammates. Finish off the Space Mountain Series and think of a new series to do on. I might need some help from the media after this presser is done.

Do you feel that your weight is up enough? Do you think you could get your weight up even more?
I feel like my weight is fine, but I also feel like my strength can go up a little so I put a beating some defence men with the odd power move or so, but so far I like the build I have so far I might consider putting 10 pounds of muscle and take a small hiatus in Crossfit to work on muscle mass. My build in the SHL is sort of like the build I had when I used to play hockey except the Skating is much better then what I have now for my player as I used my speed instead of strength to get by players.
If you had to reroll and make one of your strengths a weakness, what do you think you would do?
This is a very tough question as all the attributes are very important in their on ways in the SHL cause of the simulation and how each category affects your player in the sim. I've realised that Defence is very important aspect so I wouldn't change it. Maybe Speed but that means I would just be a spot shooter on the PP or a one tie specialist. I haven't really seen anyone with low speed do well in the SHL maybe I'm wrong but having decent speed is key. I'm actually baffled as I really can't figure what would I change, but if I had to it may be just Skating, I actually don't know the answer.
Do you like Discord more than the forum locker room, or is it just where you go because everyone else is there?
I feel like the Crows Discord is the best place to be at the moment. We get past and present alumni talking together at once with a flowing conversation while for MAN the forum locker room is the place to be as the conversation lives there for each team either the Discord or forum locker room is either the place to be. It's good that teams have two options of talking about life, sports and the SHL life. And plus more private chats can be done on Discord then on the SHL forums and such.
Did you enjoy The Buzzkill? Compare it to a TV or radio show.
I just listened to the first episode of this season and I must say I really enjoy it though, I prefer content over quality and this show has really delivered. I would like to be a guest on the show as it would be interesting what questions the fans would have for me and my antics off the ice as well as the constructive criticism or compliments that the fans have for me so far in the season. I would compare this show to the Steve Dangle Podcast, The Buzzkill is really the Steve Dangle Podcast of the SHL except there's only you instead of two other people. I must say this the #1 SHL Podcast around. Well done!
Stepping into captaincy this season is going to be a big task with big shoes to feel. How do you plan to fill them?
I'm filling in pretty big shoes as <a href='index.php?showuser=1263' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-59'>kit</a> was a great captain to our team even though we didn't have the personnel to make the playoffs. I plan to fill those shoes by exceeding the expectations given by the GMs and giving more motivational talks before games. The quote I use in the locker room this year is from Mike Babcock from the Toronto Maple Leafs is that to start on time. The Leafs this season have been one of the best 1st period teams in the NHL just because of starting on time and grabbing a lead. Granted they're known for their chokes in the 3rd. But they're in a similiar spot likes us with young guns leading our core and our team atm. And that quote has lead to an amazing start to the season exceeding our expectations.
What are your thoughts on your SHL team, the Manhattan Rage's, chances on the challenge cup this season?
After a disappointing season last year I'm pretty sure we're going to be rebounded for a big year. Aittokallio is a great goalie, Wollker is a stud dman and guys like Harry Hans and recent call-up Jorec are the guys who I think who can make big splashes this year for the Rage this year. I'm hoping for a deep playoff run for this and get back to the finals just like we did two years ago, unfortunately we didn't strike gold this year and last year was just heartbreaking last day of the season but not qualifying but decided their fate through luck. Overall, I expect a big year for the Rage although we probably won't be winning our conference, but hey anything will happen in the playoffs.
Who are some of your favorite teammates to play with? Anyone you don't like suiting up with?
Everyone are my favourite teammates. Like I said earlier I'm really feeling something special with Matthew Auston and I we are fucking killing it Bulju 2.0 in Rasmussen on the first line and our depth has improved a lot with our rooks and with Carric going to the down to the second line to bring up those guys. And plus imagine the team with Kit bawh gawd almighty we are a legit threat to the SMJHL. And of course Wagner just taking a complete 180 this year who's been standing on his head for this team. I love this team and I can't wait for what's to come this season.
And on the other side, what are your thoughts on the strong start to this Scarecrows season? What's going right, what could be worked on? Is this an indicator for future success?
It's still early on the season but I think is the year we come over the hump to be honest, honestly there isn't much that can be worked on as were an very good oiled machine and with Kit coming back either on the 2nd line on the first line we have a very good chance of making the playoffs and possible a Four Star Cup but they're teams like Kelowna, Montreal and Prince George etc. that are standing in our way, so we will have to see what's gonna happen next.
What does it feel like after your first week with the "C"? do you think it has gave you more confidence?
It's definitely gave me confidence but most importantly it's provided me the opportunity to show my leadership qualities to the team to as the rest of the SMJHL who are really doubting us to being a good team. It really baffles me that some of the league think that the Whalers are a team to watch out for over the Crows no offence to the Whalers as they have bright future ahead of them but this season is our season as we've missed the playoffs back to back years and that hasn't been done ever in the history of the SHL and this season has to be the season that will overshadow the previous two years of failure for this team. I really think me wearing the "C" has instilled confidence in the team as well as the myself.
Do you think you are going to hit the 50 point mark this season?
Well, if I keep it up at this rate I could possibly get 50 points in this season. The line mates that I have this season can really hit that milestone too with the way were going at the moment. I'm really just looking for an above average season points and it's not about me and it's about the entire team and if the team isn't winning games then me hitting the 50 point mark in this season really doesn't matter as we I failed to help the team in a big way.
If you had to pick one guy to model your game after in the NHL who would it be and why?
This one's tough but currently I'm modelling my game around two players which are Auston Matthews and Alex Ovechkin. My Sniper build really shows the both of them with Ovechkin's shot and the amount of shots that he puts on the net as well as Matthews as he's one of the best two way forwards in the game as when he's not contributing offensively, he's helping out defensively and that's who the players I model my game of off, one guy who's one of the best in present in Alex Ovechkin and one guy who's going to create a huge legacy in my opinion in the future with Auston Matthews.
If you could make one all-star line out of the SMJHL players who would be on it?
That lineup would be from the Kelowna Knights Leafer Reilly, the Crows Matthew Auston and myself, Teddy Kesler who's having an unbelievable season so far for the Mammoths and Fearghal who's Sorator player who's been of the consistent players in the league for a little while now along with Jimmy Wagner in net who like I said before has finally found his groove in the SMJHL after working really hard in the off season to improve is game and even worked with American goalie legend Mike Richter in the off season as his personal goalie coach.
Who is going to take home the Stanley Cup?
If I had it my way it would be the Blues and the Leafs in the Stanley Cup finals with Leafs doing the impossible and winning it, but realistically speaking even after their poor start in the playoffs I think Chicago will win it over the Caps in the finals. The 2nd round will really determine who's coming out of the East and for the West it won't be until the end of the 3rd round. I know most people I know are thinking the Caps are going to win it all but Chicago has the 3 Cups as well as the majority of playoff experience in the finals so yeah I still think Chicago is winning the entire thing.
How do you feel about some of the new guys that are starting to step up for the 'Crows?
The rookies have been great like Louie Garrett and Chuck Goody Jr who was really performing in the pre-season and once their updates start to kick in you will see more of them. Riley Zalko has been really showing great strides in his game and look for a big year from him. The rooks are the future of this team as well as they provide the much needed depth needed this season that we lacked last season when pushing for the final spot in the playoffs as we were getting close but the depth was lacking and we starting to give up valuable points in key times last season.
Do you think the "C" on your chest is going to get to your head and effect your game at all this season? Or on the other hand, do you believe it will be a motivation factor for you?
I won't get to my head that I'm the Captain or it'll effect my name. The C just means that players will look to you to lead by example on the ice and off the ice with team activities and behaviour. I just gotta keep on doing things that got me to the Captain of this prestigious franchise and prove the haters wrong that don't think I'm Captaincy material. It motivate me a ton to contribute to the team more then I'm already am at the moment as well help mentor the rookies who trying to find their league and help them adjust to the SMJHL as my end goal is to help my teammates to get places and to win the Four Star Cup.
What team in the SMJHL do you love playing against? Which do you hate? And why?
I love to play the champs from the previous season to test their ability as they have everything to lose while we don't have anything lose which makes them vulnerable and us to just our game and dominate at our best. So for now it has to be the Militia and also like playing the Knights as they have been the standard barrier for the league for a very long time and the guy that recruited me to the SHL and friend Leafer Reilly is on the team so it's always nice to knock him off and I can't wait until I get to the SHL to make Samee a meme even though he's already a meme.
