The Portland Admirals have place Cartier on the block, a reliable source out of Portland confirms (lmao not me). The Admirals and Jackson Cartier were unable to reach a contract extension - the Admirals general managers had offered Cartier the minimum contract, and were not willing to give him more than the minimum, while the Cartier camp wants more then that. The Admirals claim that they have 4 "other defenseman" and they don't need Cartier on the team, and will try to flip him for picks before the S36 SHL Draft.

Cartier was previously on Seattle, before being traded to Portland for Teodors Cukurs.
