S31 Class - How you doin? S35 Update
#1

Hey S31 Class - How you doin?

(Current word count: 10,550 - READY TO GRADE - Im too tired to cover the goalies I'll be honest.)

The Spreadsheet

So here we are ladies and gents from the Class of S31. Another Season has passed and the master sheet I use to track and ridicule ALL of you has been updated. Where do we all stand in relation to one another? Who is the risers, the fallers, the retired, the inactive. Well that's why we are here to find out! (For those wanting their draft classes covered, I will do my best to sneak in a class or two I have yet to cover in recent off seasons, If you are S32+ you will have to wait as I will want more data to accumulate first, sorry!Wink.

I will be starting with the Overall TPE/ Bank Totals from July 11th 2017. Once the season and playoffs are completed respectively we will expand this article to include those totals.
but for now lets get the show on the road!

The TPE Race

Going over all the stats is a lot of fun I won't lie, and the first more telling one is TPE. The last update I had with this was back on May 11th so it's cool to see how far people have come over the last 8 weeks. Sadly I did not save people straight up TPE anywhere once I entered their new values, BUT I am sure with enough digging you can find last seasons post!

With that, lets dive right into it, and pick apart a the top 5 players currently as well as some interesting observations.

**These TPE totals were taken from team roster pages on July 11th 2017**

Rage Ace Redding - 1280 TPE

- Having a head start over the rest of his draft class has continued to pay off. Leading the pack in earned TPE (and hordeing more behind the scenes as per usual as he normally does, so tack on some more haha), Redding has enjoyed what looks to be a break out season this year. Never skipping a beat along the way, I fully expect as long as he keeps doing what he's doing to keep the #1 spot for the fore seeable future.

Jets Jason Visser - 1273 TPE

- Taking his spot at #2 its the first time Visser has been in the top 3. Using the lack of PbP done by Selich and LKS last playoffs he has made up valuable ground and now sits just behind Redding for 1st. Nothing shows him slowing down so remaining in the top 5 at the very least seems like a lock moving forward. Keep at er buddy.

Stampede Ludwig Koch Schröder - 1272 TPE
- Being narrowly edged out of the #2 spot by 1 TPE, LKS has continued earning almost any, and all TPE where possible. Trying to get back onto the PbP wagon would help him keep pace with the top 5 pack, but it will all depend how many social events his current Fiancee keeps volunteering him for (Seriously how many fucking pot lucks can you have in a year?), toss in <a href='index.php?showuser=1765' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-4'>Eggy216</a> sporadicly posting PbP claims....I kid I kid. Seriously tho LKS pick your shit up.

Dragons Joe Kurczewski - 1252 TPE
- The dragons late 1st rounder for S31 has kept pace with the pack. Not sitting to far behind he could eventually still catch everyone. The only down side compared to the rest so far? Even with 1252 TPE earned, he is still burried a bit in the Dragons Depth chart still not seeing 1st line minutes. Id fully expect Joe to finish top 5 before regression sets in and even challenge for a top 3 spot.

Stampede Eduard Selich - 1191 TPE
- Seriously. I worry about <a href='index.php?showuser=2285' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Tomen</a>. No one really know what happened to the poor guy but his player still will hold onto a large value for the team. Still holding onto a top 5 spot (that will change next season) it's sad to see such an active member go MIA but he at least left the Stampede with a great IFA winger who is still miles away from Regression.

Interesting Notes in Relation to TPE and Activity

Total Players drafted in S30 SMJHL Entry Draft: 93
Total Players drafted in S31 SHL Entry Draft: 63
Total Active Players Left in S35: 31
Total Active Retention so far: 33.33%

Players Above 1200 TPE - 4
Players Above 1100 TPE - 10
Players Above 1000 TPE - 14

- So what does this all mean? Well of the 93 players originally picked up in the 2016 Summer Reddit draft the league has retained 33 actives players onto the roster from it. Of those 33 players, 14 have acheived over 1000 TPE to date.
- So looking at this lets break it down some more. Of the 93 players originally taken 4.3% have managed to break the 1200 TPE mark. 10.7% - 1100 TPE. 15% - 1000 TPE.
- It's pretty safe to say most players over 1000 TPE have acheived SHL regular roster status. Maybe not 1st line Forward, or top 2 D pairing levels yet, but definetly a Top 6/ Top 4 D status on most teams. Of the 93 players, 4 have secured a top line role on their teams after only 5 seasons in the bigs. I would say it will take til seasons 7-8 into this all before we can truly gauge the overall value of this draft, but in relation of total players taken and those who have panned out lets compared to the NHL quickly.

- Currently we have 7 rounds x 31 picks. Thats 217 players taken. SHL has a success rate of currently 14 players of 93 being valued as a top 6/ top 4 role. in comparison that would be expecting 32 of the 217 turning into that for most NHL teams after 5 seasons. I feel like that is surprisingly fairly accurate to an extent with some drafts being stronger than others (2003 vs say 2012) So far the S31 class has done pretty decent so far.
- A few of the S31 class is close to cracking the 1000 mark (Leetch - Tusk - Laing - Westbrook - Kennedy) so this will change again S36/37 again.

Show me the Money $$$

Lets see how the high rollers of the class are doing. Who has made the coin to back up the longevity of their careers and keep the training and equipment flowing.

Stampede Ludwig Koch Schröder - Networth: $121,350,000
- Still rolling in the coin like a boss LKS has been cashing in on all the endorsements from Germany. From Sausages, Beer brands, Sauerkraut and many musical collaberations (Lou Bega - Lena Meyer-Landrut and Haddaway) has helped line this SHL players coffers with riches abound. Sitting a top of the S31 class by a long shot it will take a lot of inactivity, lack of media posts and buying ALL the equipment for this player to lose his spot a top of the pack here.

Blizzard Ryan Vas - Networth: $56,069,000
- 2nd Overall an fortunately for him moving forward more than likely to keep a top 5 spot, Why? Well he is currently Inactive. Not about to be spending any of the funds he has earned Vas will hold steady with contracts more than likely rolling in and no spending happening.
Stampede Eduard Selich - Networth: $ 41,885,000
- See Vas above. Inactive = no spending + regular contracts means he will keep moving up than down.
Jets Jason Visser - Networth: $41,495,000
- Not far off of 3rd place, Visser would need to pump out some more of that dank Media, coupled with maybe grabbing a few more sponsorships than just the 420 Shop in Winnipeg, he is still fanning himself with 100's on his days off.
Panthers Timo Haas - Networth: $35,400,000
- The richest of the net minders Haas has some buffer room to stay in the lead for TPE as well with a healthy bank. Having picked up some sponsorships himself with his recent investments in 'safe space' technology, he looks poised to stay ahead of the pack.

Interesting notes in regards to Money $$$

Average funds per Player: $19,136,830
Players Above the Average: 14
Player Below the Average: 27
Worst Bank Account: Ace Redding: -$1,191,000

- The top end of the group really pads the numbers for the S31 class. With only 34% of the total used players on rosters (41 players total) only having above the average funds for the class, the majority of the S31 class has enough for 1 seasons worth of gear + 2 seasons of training left in their banks before the Media section calls their names once more. Or they sign for big $$ in FA.

- Players who constantly tip toe the line (Gooney - Redding - Kosonen - Tusk - Reed - A.Kaiser) will have to pick it up this offseason if they want to keep pace with the rest. Redding and Kosonen haven't been hurt to badly yet, but if the trend continues might find it hard to keep up long term in TPE.
- It's pretty clear when the Banks are laid out who takes the time to write media who doesn't both for players and goalies. Some build their banks early and have been riding them, others overall activity can be reflected on their bank totals and staying afloat moving forward.

Best Pick ups, Biggest misses

There was a crazy amount of pick shuffling leading up to and during this draft, and....when I went to find transactions for this draft there was a huge time gap from S15-S32 in the processed transactions thread, so it's pretty hard to value the trades made to lead up to this point.....so this will be based on 'what ifs' more than anything had teams kept their picks.

SWING AND A MISS! - Hindsight is 20/20

8th Overall Renegades - Jasson Visser
- What could have potentially been for Texas @ the 8th spot. They would have netted themselves a now almost 1300 TPE center instead of waiting until the 21st pick to make their first selection. As we all know that truly didnt hurt Texas much as they still despite this pick being lost in trades have gained the 5th most TPE from players in the S31 draft currently on their roster.

10th Overall Chiefs Ludwig Koch Schröder
-The chiefs wiffed on thsi one huge. A franchise defenseman sitting there still on the board at 10 to pair with Garbanzo, they had yet to admit it was time to rebuild in S31 and didn't even pick in this draft leaving them completely empty handed.

13th Overall Blizzard Alexis Metzler
- The blizzard much like Minnesota were still selling off picks for the push of winning the cup (and they almost did) but selling off 1st rounders can always come to bite them in the long run. Portland possessing this pick grabbed the 2nd D man off the board, and another Franchise D man in Metzler. The Blizzard missed a huge piece with this pick being dealt and much like the Chiefs came out of the draft empty handed.

15th Overall Steelhawks Ronnie Westbrook
-It's funny how things work out, as Hamilton still eventually got their man in Westbrook a few seasons down the road, so this pick doesn't seem bad in hind sight, but they could have nabbed him from the start.

18th Overall Panthers Tovio Kosonen
- Apparently GM's were sleeping on the Defenseman this draft, as we had our 3rd Franchise level D man taken. Los Angeles having moved this pick missed out on a top pairing D man at the 18 spot as did many other GM's to this point all opting to load up on Goalies/ Forwards instead.

30th Overall :admirals: Corey Bearss
- Another player to add to their fairly broad S31 roster, the Admirals missed a chance for one of the Winnipeg Triplets. Bearss being a late join didn't have the hype that many of the other draftees of this class had, but Winnipeg nabbed themselves a diamond in the rough with this pick and made away like bandits long term.

32nd Overall Panthers Jeff Kirkstone
- Taken as late as he was is laughable looking back. Yes the Panthers got their started in Timo Haas but they had to trade up to get the guy they wanted when they could have realistically been patient and sat back til the late 30's to get a starter who by TPE value, and STHS stats so far, would have been almost as good of an option without paying a price.

46th Overall Panthers Jacob Renninger
- Maybe a bit of a slow burn compared to the rest of the class, Renninger has been a really bright spot for being such a low pick. Already passing many of those selected way ahead of him, this would have been the definition of a late round steal for the Panthers yet again.

51st Overall Rage Vasily Horvat
- The Rage who are hurting to fill their roster with younger skilled players could have used an addition like Horvat. Maybe not as flashy as most S31 players, this hitting forward would have been a great add to the Rages 2nd/ 3rd lines to match up with what they got at 9th overall with Redding.

Nice Pick Bud! - Kept picks that worked

3rd Overall :admirals: Kyle Wahlgren
- Sticking to their guns and their position with the madness that was pick swapping with the S31 draft the Admirals drafted their eventual GM and franchise goalie in Wahlgren. This being his 1st full season has his overall value being diminished a bit in comparison with other starters, but the Admirals had a target at 3rd overall and took him, and it has paid off.

5th Overall Jets Zach Evans
- A bit of a self critic to harsh amounts at times, the Jets made the right pick @ 5 with Evans. Now currently their Co - GM and breaking the 1100 TPE mark the value they got with their own pick was top notch. Props to the Jets for staying true and not moving the pick to grab a bonified top 6 forward moving forward.

7th Overall Riot Trevor Wilson
- Seattle took a forward with their 7th Overall and Wilson has been a great pick up for them. Breaking into their top 6, he has been a great player for them so far and continues to grow. As long as they can retain him he will be arguably their best home grown talent in sometime.

9th Overall Rage Ace Redding
- The steal of the draft, and the best pick the Rage made. Literally carrying the the S31 Rage draft class as being an overall success for the Rage, Redding will continue to be the gem of the draft for as long as the Rage can keep his services.

12th Overall Dragons Joe Kurczewski
- Seeing those taken above Kurczewski I can't help but think A) how deep this draft was and B) Man did a few teams miss out. No one can forcast if a player will become inactive long term etc etc. but only 1 pick before them, Hamilton missed out on a great player. Calgary won't complain though as they added another great forward to their regularly stacked roster.

22nd Overall Renegades Adam Kaiser
- Texas did not have any high end picks but the ones they did have they really knocked out of the park. Now over 1000 TPE, Kaiser looks to be a regular member to the slightly aging Top 4, so a more than welcome addition for them moving forward to keep their D core strong.

39th Overall Platoon Alex Light
- The 2nd biggest steal of the draft, Light at 39 was a sin to the day still. The crop of players taken ahead of them looking back is pretty halarious (look at you Winnipeg for Flower @ 19) so West Kendall will not complain in the slightest netting this forward where they did. He still has yet to replicate his SMJHL success at the SHL level, but in due time I feel he will truly break out.

Overall Player Value Ranking

End of S35 Ranking – Total Usefulness Grades

I will be covering the players first (sorry goalies, I will get to you I promise!!Wink. We will go from #34 and work our way to #1. The Ranking here works the same as every other season pass. Different leaders in different categories are awarded points for being in the top 5 of a category. For those who were not able to earn themselves recognition and are currently sitting at the zero mark, they will be ranked accordingly by points strictly. Yes those who have more of a scoring touch will be favoured for now, and GP will be a bit unfair, but realistically we are looking at the value of a player to their franchise, and one who has played 200 GP > 100 GP, it’s plain and simple. Like I have listed earlier, we had a total of 93 players taken in the original SMJHL draft then 63 with the SHL. Out of those 93 we currently are down to 34 players who saw time in the SHL (with 9 of those inactive and 1 Retired), and currently 7 goalies (with 1 retired). If any player saw some time on the time with an SHL team, and continue to be used inactive or not on this current list, they will continue to be tracked and ranked until they retired themselves or are dropped off to the free agency to never be used again. With that out of the way lets start with #34!

#1) Rage Ace Redding -@grimreaper
Points Earned: 73 - 1st in TPE - 1st in Goals - 1st in Assists - 1st in Points - 2nd in Points Per game - 4th in PIM - 1st in Hits - 1st in HitDif - 3rd in Shots per Min - 1st in PP points - 1st in GWG - 1st in PPG - 2nd in SHG
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN

- Dominante is all I can say. As you all saw with the past rankings leading up to this is how incredibly dominante Redding truly has been. There is nothing else really to say. The throne is his to loose and he sure has a hell of a lead.

Project Top End Role: Franchise Forward

#2) Stampede Eduard Selich - <a href='index.php?showuser=2285' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Tomen</a>
Points Earned: 51 - 5th in TPE - 3rd in Bank - 2nd in Goals - 2nd in Assists - 2nd in Points - 1st for Points Per game - 2nd in 3 Star Points - 3rd in +/- - 2nd in Mins Per shot - 4th in Power play Points - 2nd in GWG - 4th in PPG - 2nd in SHG + 6 Points for Award Nominations
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN

- RIP Tomen. I don't know how many times I can say it :( He was our best chance to challenge Redding it looked like but with his departure and his player officially becoming and inactive, he will be losing major points moving forward. With that said his player still continues to produce in the SIM for the stampede, and I would full expect him to hold onto a top 6 for the forseeable future, so he will continue to be a force on the list from stats alone. A great Inactive for Buffalo to have, but a major loss for the team long term.

Project Top End Role: Top 6 Forward (Top Line Foward - Medium)

#3) Stampede Ludwig Koch Schröder - Rabidsponge21
Points Earned: 37 - 3rd in TPE - 1st in Bank - 3rd in Assists - 3rd in Points - 5th in Points Per Game - 1st in Shot Blocks - 2nd in Power Play Points - 2nd in PPG - 2nd in SHG + 3 for award nominations
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN

- Barely clinging to the 3rd spot is LKS. Having a good TPE and Bank helps keep his ranking up, added in with some fantastic special teams play and the ability to block all the shots has him keeping his spot at 3. Long term I feel like he might drop a bit for the lack of physical play, and the rate many of the forwards are starting to score at, but I still wouldn't be surprised to see him end up as one of the top 3 Defenseman of this draft when it's all said and done.

Project Top End Role: Franchise Defenseman

#4) Steelhawks Kornel Kasparek - <a href='index.php?showuser=73' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Boomcheck</a>
Points Earned: 27 - 5th Best Assists - 1st best PIM - 2nd Best Hits - 2nd Best HitDif - 2nd Best Shot Blocks - 5th Best PP Points - 5th Best GWG - 1st Best SHG
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN

- Another Inactive who having the advantage of an extra season has built up totals that just simply need to be caught up to simply put. He will continue to generate stats with Hamilton seeming happy to use them in their top 4 until they can replace him. Time will have him fall.

Project Top End Role: IFA Top 6 D

#5) Blizzard Ieuan Llewellyn - <a href='index.php?showuser=1899' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>SethTrollins</a>
Points Earned: 19 -3rd Best PIM - 3rd Best Hits - 3rd Best HitDif - 1st Best Shooting % - 2nd Best in SHG
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN

- Being one of the few true physical players in this draft is what is keeping Llewellyn relevant, mixed with his strangely accurate shot has him in the top 5 STILL. Again with time, and his reduced role he WILL fall, but it will still take some time with the majority of the class not being overly physical.

Project Top End Role: 3rd - 4th Line IFA Forward

#6) Steelhawks Brennan Kennedy - <a href='index.php?showuser=2273' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-17'>bk1689</a>
Points Earned: 17 - 3rd Best in Goals - 4th Best in Points - 4th Best in 3 Star Points - 5th Best in Hits - 4th Best in Shooting % - 3rd in Best Power Play Goals - 2nd Best in SHG
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN

- Looking like he was bound to be an absolute steal for the Steelhawks has since fallen on a bit of tragedy. Losing another player from the S31 class to inactivity makes it so that out of the big 7 players they got in that draft, none remain active on the team. A big blow to them to be sure, Kennedy has still managed to produce for them fairly well, and I'd assume be use to them still moving forward. More than likely to fall with time sadly.

Project Top End Role: Top 9 Forward IFA (Top 6 Foward - Medium)

#7) Jets Jason Visser - <a href='index.php?showuser=2264' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-10'>ToeDragon84</a>
Points Earned: 13 - 2nd Best TPE - 4th Best Bank - 5th Best 3 Star Points - 1st Best SHG
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN

- Maybe not earning the SIM success of some of the fellow players in the same ranking range Visser's dedication to keep his player growing, mixed with having a healthy bank is nothing to scoff at. Dedication breeds success, and I expect nothing less for Visser. Having a very good season should be a indicator of things to come, and he will start to push his way into the top 5 in due time. The only thing holding him back is the build up totals of the Inactives in front of him nothing more.

Projected Top end Role: Franchise Forward

#8) Jets Zach Evans - <a href='index.php?showuser=2327' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-69'>ztevans</a>
Points Earned: 13 - 4th Best Goals - 5th Best PIM - 5th Best HitDif - 3rd Best Shooting % - 4th Best GWG - 2nd Best SHG
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN

- Pulling even with last years ranking Evans is slowly but surely improving. His scoring touch mixed with what appears to be physical game as well is starting to earn some good totals. If he can keep up this pace he might just got head to head with Redding and Laing over the seasons. He keeps trending upwards as the seasons go, and I expect the trend to continue. Likely to go as his 2 team mate Bearss and Visser go, the success of the Jets young 3 core will be dependant on team performance and each others chemistry. So far things seem to be working as 2 of jets are sitting in the top 10.

Projected Top end Role: Franchise Forward

#9) Stars Reed Laing - <a href='index.php?showuser=32' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>GroupMeIsKindOfOkay</a>
Points Earned: 12 - 3rd Best Points Per Game - 3rd Best 3 Star Points - 1st Best Mins Per Shot
Positions Lost/ Gained:+5

- The only new member of the Top 10 from last season, Laing comes barrelling in full steam. With no other TRUE power forward in the class Laing is looking to challenge Redding I beleive long term. With all the tools to succeed and the growth to back it up, I see it being very likely Laing retains a top 10 spot moving forward. Her growth is a little behind the main group, but with her particular build it doesn't seem to phase her to much. S36 like it is for many player will be a good indicator of the skill level of Laing to see if she can replicate the performance moving forward and climb the rankings.

Projected Top end Role: Top Line Forward

#10) Stampede Alexis Metzler - <a href='index.php?showuser=2271' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-10'>Avakael</a>
Points Earned: 11 - 4th Best Assists - 3rd Best Shot Blocks - 3rd Best Power Play Points - 4th Best Power Play goals
Positions Lost/ Gained: EVEN
- Holding steady and remaining in the Top 10 for another season is the Stampede Defenseman Alexis Metzler. Enjoying his most succesful season yet, he has held off those climbing around him and even gained some points this year (+2). Sitting just outside the Big 5 for TPE, 5 points from top 5 points, and climbing his way in more than a few offensive statistics he has really started to make a case for himself as a true Franchise Potential D man for Buffalo. Fleeced is the only word when it comes to looking back on their trade to acquire him and as long as they can keep him, they have themselves a bonafied Top 2 D man who can play the big moments they need. I think at this point it would be pointless to bet against him, so I see him keeping in the top 10 long term, and even moving up eventually. S36 will be a good final indicator I feel in the exact player the Stampede have long term.

Projected Top end Role: Franchise Defenseman

#11) Stampede Brynjar Tusk - <a href='index.php?showuser=1245' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>ThatDamnWalrus</a>
Points Earned: 10 - 2nd Best PIM - 4th Best Hits - 4th Best HitDif - 4th Best SB
Positions Lost/ Gained: -1

- Looking to develop into one of the dominate players in the defensive/ physical side of the game, Tusk is using his skill set (one many of the players in this class don't utilize) to prove his worth and make an impact in places other than the score sheet. He will probably never challenge in any of the scoring catergories but where he will always steal some points will be with his physical side of his game. I don't expect him to move much from the spot he is, maybe slightly rising or falling, but keeping him locked in the top 15.

Projected Top end Role: Top 3 D (Top 2 D when Needed)

#12) Wolfpack Toivo Kosonen - <a href='index.php?showuser=2309' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Toivo</a>
Points Earned: 7 - 5th Best Power Play Goals - 1st best +/-
Positions Lost/ Gained: +3

- The Star in the making Wolfpack Defenseman, Toivo Kosonen has been a fast riser ever since joining the big league. Sitting 1 season behind the bulk of the class, Kosonen didn't let that deter him. Sitting among the top PointPerGame players of his class, he is keeping pace regardless of the Games Played difference. Only 7 points from the 100 mark, and sporting the best +/- so far has his game looking plain impressive. Unfortunately the +/- is the main thing propping his score up, so as long as the Wolfpack keep on top that should be a strength of his to lean on. Good play on the special teams as well helps bring his stock up. Much like Leetch he will need to round his game out a bit more to steal some more Top 5 spots, but is close with his assists totals and shot blocks. Could fall a bit, but has the potential to keep climbing next season.

Projected Top end Role: Franchise Defenseman

#13) :admirals: Geronimo Otto - <a href='index.php?showuser=2279' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>tweedledunn</a>
Points Earned: 5 - 2nd Best Shooting % - 5th Best Points
Positions Lost/ Gained: +7

- Making his return on the list moving up rather than down, Otto had a very good bounce back year to toss him back into the talks for one of the potential top players in this draft. Nabbing one of the top 5 spots in points shows that very fact, and he isn't far from moving even further up. With a few more solid seasons Otto will more than likely climb his way up the list in a few categories and more than likely steal a top 10 overall spot. His Shooting % is propping him up a bit currently, and may not be sustainable BUT I fully expect him to make the points up elsewhere as we move forward.

Projected Top end Role: Top Line Forward

#14) Blizzard Ryan Vas - <a href='index.php?showuser=2277' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-17'>KleslaR</a>
Points Earned: 5 - 2nd Best Bank - 5th best SB
Positions Lost/ Gained: -2

- After being born again unto the SHL world, Vas has left this worldly plain once again, but not before cashing out. Being propped up on the list by his bank alone this will be the last season I will count the bank totals for truly inactive players as a point earning factor for them, so expect a hard drop for him next season. He still steals anothert top 5 for shot blocks which if he continues to be used might be a sustainable stat, but with more active D men still going in the class this too should fall in time.

Projected Top end Role: IFA Top 4 D

#15) Platoon Alex Light - <a href='index.php?showuser=2325' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-69'>Zoone16</a>
Points Earned: 4 - 3rd best GWG - 5th Best Power Play Goals
Positions Lost/ Gained: -2

- The Junior phenom Alex Light. We are still waiting for that true break out season! A victim of massive line shuffling this season I feel, Light just couldn't click, and find chemistry at a high level to really break out quite yet. Still a respectable year, Light and much of those around I feel want more. I feel like some true consistency in his position on the teams lines and a real opportunity to play with someone who works with him will help him move forward. His clutch goal totals show he knows when to score and Power play goals that when given the chance and expectation to score he does. Falling a bit due to the depth of talent being pushed forward this year, he could go either way at this point. Another Meh season will potentially see him dip a bit more, a break out season will watch him spring forward. S36 will be one to watch for Light.

Projected Top end Role: Franchise Forward

#16) Panthers Matthew Leetch - <a href='index.php?showuser=2241' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-10'>NYRangers3061</a>
Points Earned: 4 - 2nd Best +/-
Positions Lost/ Gained: +10

- One of the weaker defenseman TPE wise for this class (and let me tell you 900 TPE still isn't even that 'weak'Wink Leetch has been making the most of his minutes on the Panthers making sure what minutes he does get they are ones with positive influence with the outcome. He plays a sound phyiscal game to match that, but lacks that offensive touch to pair with it all. Lagging a bit behind in the offensive side of the game will hurt his ability to truly climb the rankings, but that may just come with time. If the Panthers slip and have a truly poor season his one Ace may disappear and cause him to slip, so he will need to play a more complete game if he wants to keep climbing.

Projected Top end Role: Top 4 D (Top 2 D - Medium)

#17) Steelhawks Ronnie Westbrook - <a href='index.php?showuser=2261' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-13'>Gooney</a>
Points Earned: 3 - 4th Best PPGame - 5th Best GWG
Positions Lost/ Gained: -1

- Honestly one of the more surprising players for this class when it comes to sheer production. Jumping into the fray a season later than the bulk of the class Westbrook has been on the most cosnsistent scorers of the S31 class. A Point per game average of 0.706 is 4th best amongst the class, and he doesn't seem to be slowing down despite being on a weaker Steelhawks team. More likely to dish than score himself, Westbrook is in the thick of things with his assists totals, and not far out from those ahead of time. He is one of the players who with continued production will continue to climb up the rankings with time, but any dips will send him back quite a bit. Westbrook needs to keep maximizing on his lower TPE total (in comparison to the class) or those with that extra 100-300 more might start to over take him.

Projected Top end Role: Top 6 Forward (Top Line Forward - Medium)

#18) Dragons Joe Kurczewski- <a href='index.php?showuser=2310' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-10'>JKortesi81</a>
Points Earned: 3 - 4th Best TPE - 5th Best +/-
Positions Lost/ Gained: -1

- A victim of team depth until this season really (and even getting some decent minutes still had a okayish season) Joe K keeps plugging away regardless. Creeping up on the those infront of him constantly Kurczewski refuses to go away in the race to reach his max build and be an elite player in the league. Hopefully his hard work starts to pay off sooner than later, and can feed off the likes of Randleman, Anrikkanen and Gagner. Having a balanced production so far, Kurczewski seems to be content with scoring and setting the play up. He runs a fairly balanced physical game as well to add to it. I feel like it's just a matter of time until he truly breaks out, the league and SIM just need to be a bit kinder to him. Considering all his hard work, I hope he isn't out of the top 15 for long.

Projected Top end Role: Franchise Forward

#19) Jets Corey Bearss - <a href='index.php?showuser=2338' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>CBear</a>
Points Earned: 2 - 4th Best +/-
Positions Lost/ Gained: -6

- Dropping down the list 6 spots is the all around forward Corey Bearss. Much like Wilson he is a victim of a strengthing class more than anything than poor play. Bearss sits only 3 points away (97) from the century mark and is still part of the top 15 point producers for the class. The only real downfall is he isn't really a stand out as of this season in any real particular categories to nab any top 5 points. He is 4th best for +/- currently, and has a shot with assists with 1 really good season, but generally is pretty even across the board. He has the makings of a top line forward in the future who will compliment those around him. Maybe not as flashy as most but a much needed piece to any succesful team.

Projected Top end Role: Top line Forward

#20) Riot Trevor Wilson - <a href='index.php?showuser=2293' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>twils</a>
Points Earned: 2 - 5th Best Goals - 5th best shooting %
Positions Lost/ Gained: -4

- Losing a bit of ground from last seasons rankings falling 4 spots is Seattles Trevor Wilson. More of a reality of his fellow class mates picking up their production around him than anything, Wilson is still in the thick of it. Sitting currently 1 pt short of the century mark (99) he played on a weak riot team this season which hurt him a little comparitively. He still sits in the top 12 for total production dispite having up to 200 less TPE than some of those above him. I don't expect him to fall much at all if it happens and see him more than likely trending upwards rather than down in future updates.

Projected Top end Role: Top line Forward

#21) Dragons Taro Eichelele - Eichelele
Points Earned: 1 – 5th best MinsPerShot
Positions Lost/Gained: -10

- The now Inactive Steelhawks pick has since been trade to the dragons as a depth addition. He went from a Top 6 role in Hamilton to now filling a roster spot on Calgary. Only time will tell if he is used anymore for any team really, but as it stands he is poised to fall hard down the list as many actives catch him as can be seen by the biggest loss of the group @ -10.

Projected Top end Role: 4th Line IFA (Top 9 Forward – High)

#22) Platoon Pietra Volkova- <a href='index.php?showuser=2238' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-59'>Pris</a>
Positions Lost/Gained: -1

- After a very successful season (Finally!Wink Volkova looks poised to finally climb the chart for her respective draft class. Still not top 5 in any statistical category for the class she is still on the outside looking in, but remains at least the most productive member of the class without any Top 5 finishes. She will more than likely take a spot here and there as we move along and develop into a Franchise level Winger (I have no doubts in my mind) but will have to continue producing if she wants to make a case for herself as one of the greats of the S31 class.

- Projected Top end Role: Franchise Winger

#23) :admirals: Jacob Renninger - <a href='index.php?showuser=2331' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Shadowz1797</a>
Positions Lost/Gained: -1

- A slow grower who has has spurts of high growth, Renninger has had a pretty up and down career so far. Finally seeming to come into his own, it might be the start of something tangible for him career wise as soon as next season as his build starts to come into it’s own and he can start to truly produce at the SHL level. Do I think he will become a Top 6 forward? Maybe. It depends if he can crack the 1000 mark in the next 2-3 seasons. If he can’t then he will most likely remain a very serviceable Top 9 forward.

Projected Top end Role: Top 9 Forward (Top 6 – LOW)

#24) Rage Marc Leclerc- <a href='index.php?showuser=2275' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-17'>suir</a>
Positions Lost/Gained: EVEN

- Inactive. BUT that’s CUP WINNING INACTIVE TO YOU. Let that sink in S31 class. Let that sink in. Playing as the Rage’s on again, off again Top 4 D man (usually bottom pairing), Marc Leclerc is currently looking to have a long career at the rate of usage by the Rage since drafting him. Sadly though the total potential for this player is done, and what you see, is what you get. Leclerc will most likely continue to earn stats across the board, but will eventually tail off as those who put in the work start to pass him, as it stands though, this inactive has a top 25 spot, and is making some of those below look a bit silly.

- Projected Top end Role: Top 6 D

#25) Steelhawks Martin Svensson - LosGlennos
Positions Lost/Gained: -2

- After what seemed like a promising start to his career Svensson soon fell of the map and has sadly retired. Leaving the Steelhawks with nothing, was sort a dick move, in that he could have just said goodbye and left with with at least a roster plug but instead left them empty handed with a hole on the roster, and rode off into the sunset. Sadly for some of those below them this retired player still hold the last spot of the top 25 but will be passed sooner than later.

Projected Top end Role: RETIRED

#26) Chiefs Cikgnar Konstantinov- <a href='index.php?showuser=2321' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>cikgnar</a>
Positions Lost/Gained: -1

- The long gone inactive has still been holding down a roster spot on Minnesota and although he is sub 400 TPE and truly a fairly uneffective player he still has a spot in the SHL currently and is outscoring 7 other actives in the S31 class. 251 GP will do that. It will be interesting to see if he kept on peoples roster long term and stacks up against the class at the end of it all.

- Projected Top end Role: IFA 4th Liner

#27) Steelhawks Isaac Kaiser - daBenchwarmer
Positions Lost/Gained: +3

- After bouncing around and having less than stellar outings thus far, Kaiser is finally showing some signs of promise. Again not one of the more impressive members of this class TPE wise, he has found a role on a young steelhawks team and is finally getting some reps and minutes in to move himself along. Close to moving both up and down the list depending on his next season Kaiser needs to keep growing his game if he wants to push his way into the top 25. Should make a solid Top 9 forward for any team.

Projected Top end Role: Top 9 Forward

#28) Panthers Tord Yvel- <a href='index.php?showuser=2295' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>TrazanApanzzon</a>
Positions Lost/Gained: EVEN

- The 2nd Panthers D man to make this list Yvel has been a long standing project. Having spent the max time in Juniors to develop he finally has earned a full time roster spot on Los Angeles the last two seasons. Having the slight edge on Kaiser (due to the +9 even with equal points) he looks to be the perfect fit for their bottom pairing. Unfortunately that might be close to his max potential with his slow growth. I still would be surprised to see him make it to the Top 4 for the team, but as a bottom pairing D man he will useful for the Panthers for the future.

Projected Top end Role: Top 6 D

#29) Renegades Adam Kaiser - <a href='index.php?showuser=2262' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-10'>Kaisonious</a>
Positions Lost/Gained: EVEN
- A victim of the long Juniors stay, Kaiser has been serviceable so far on a very deep Renegades squad. Many had hoped he would have begun to have more and impact at this point, but only 100 GP into his career it’s hard to call him a steal or a bust just yet. Time will tell how much of a role Kaiser will play on Texas currently buried from being a top 2 any time soon. Offensively minded, he needs to start cashing in on offensive chances more and proving his worth as a scoring D man on the teams specialty teams and even during 5v5. Would be a Top 3 D on some teams already, a victim of sheer depth as discussed before his players total impact over the career may be less than what it could be.

Projected Top end Role: Top 2 D

#30) Platoon Travis Jeziak - <a href='index.php?showuser=2301' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Leppish</a>
Positions Lost/Gained: -1

- Staying active and very slowly plugging away, Jeziak has been staying alive amongst all the inactive drop offs. Still a good deal behind even some retired/ inactive players, Jeziaks potential isn’t as high as some of those around him. Spending his max time allowed in Junior, he just hit the 100 GP milestone this season. Not producing at a high level, but not at the worst pace (33 pts so far) he may be a great depth/ role player for West Kendall as the seasons move forward, but not much else. There could still be a chance he hits a top 6 role before regression, but at the current pace seems highly unlikely. A Top 9 role seems more likely with 4th line minutes to be expected currently. Good depth pick for WKP, but Jeziak has most likely hit his ceiling.

Projected Top end Role: Top 9 Forward (Top 6 – LOW)

#31) :admirals: Alex Reed - <a href='index.php?showuser=2250' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Alex Reed</a>
Positions Lost/Gained: -4

- Easily the most disappointing pick in the S31 class so far, Reed has yet to achieve expectations since arriving in Portland. Posting just 29 points over 155 GP as an offensive forward just isn’t going to cut it. Having passed the 800 TPE mark this year, he has little excuses as to why he hasn’t been able to perform quite yet and needs to start sorting things out soon if he wants to even be considered a top 25 pick at this point. Falling 4 spots since last season and still being behind 7 inactives and a retired player is less than ideal for this player. The one positive outlook so far is the ability to play the physical game effectively, but it’s immediately eliminated by his terrible +/- play. Projections still show he could end up being a Top 6 forward for the admirals but if he intends to fit that role, he needs to start playing like one.

Projected Top end Role: Top 6 Forward

#32) Renegades Vasily Horvat - <a href='index.php?showuser=2269' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>Slowpoke</a>
Positions Lost/ Gained: NO CHANGE

- One of the players I feel eventually might be better than many expect. A slow grower who has been still plugging away slowly but surely Horvat has been a great pick up for the Renegades and looks to be a perfect fit for their 3rd line. I can see him maybe eventually pushing his way into a 2nd line role for the team, but expecting him to be a Top 3 forward is a bit of a pipedream. A physical forward who does a better job of being physical but staying out of the box compared to Komarov, he knows his role and has been filling it so far. Maybe hoping for a bit more of an offensive touch moving forward, he will be a great depth player for many teams moving forward. As far as his ranking? He might move up a bit if he stays on the rosters long term, but won’t challenge for the top 15.

Projected Top end Role: Borderline Top 6. Top 9 Most Likely

#33) Renegades Michael Burrows - <a href='index.php?showuser=735' rel='nofollow' alt='profile link' class='user-tagged mgroup-3'>prikulis5</a>
Postions Lost/ Gained: NO CHANGE

- Long inactive, Burrows showed signs of maybe developing into an effective player long term turned sour when he stopped developing. Boasting some of the worst totals for his draft class, he will likely settle into a fill in IFA role for teams down the line but will never crack anything higher than a 3rd line role with a spot on the 4th line seemingly much more likely. 27th overall looking back comparatively was a poor choice long term, but at the time seemed like a decent pick up.
Project Top end Role: 4th Line fill in

Hey S31 Class - How you doin?

Welcome to the Snipe Show

Rage Ace Redding - 96 Goals
- With his 50 GP advantage over the majority of the draft class Redding has used his extra time to create a gap amongst the class and start to pull ahead. With his break out season this year, coupled with Selich becoming IFA status, the title for top scorer for the S31 class is his to lose. Sitting over 43 goals ahead of the next active draft class member, he has some buffer room before being truly challenged unless IFA Selich light it up.

Stampede Eduard Selich - 84 Goals
- Sadly Tomen seems to have officially gone MIA. Sad as Selich was looking to be a premier talent. He still is churning away at elite levels breaking the 80 goal mark this season and carrying the highest points per game totals across the board. He may very well out do many of the actives having set his player up to be a great long term IFA solution for the stampede for seasons to come.

Steelhawks Brennan Kennedy - 63 Goals
- A promising player that has since fallen of the activity train. Kennedy comes in at the #3 spot and will continue to produce for the foreseeable future for Hamilton until they find higher TPE active players for a true long term solution. Until then expect Kennedy to be in the talks for top scoring as he will be leaned on heavily by Hamilton for a few more seasons until the S34-36 class draft picks can catch up and de throne him.

Jets Zach Evans - 53 Goals
- Off to a bit of a slow start the Evans train has begun to gain some steam. Proving he can be the high level sniper that he was touted as back in the S31 draft he is really starting to come into his own and showing he can be a complete player. Breaking the 50 goal mark was a good start this year and the Jets and Evans himself hope the trend can continue upwards looking for the 30 goal mark for a season and onto the next goal of 100 for his career.

Riot Trevor Wilson - 52 Goals
- On a now down swing squad, Wilson has been one of the few bright spots for a franchise in a bit of confusion and what seems unsure state. Regardless of the dealings of the team and where it's intended to go, Wilson keeps going up and using his shooting skills to put up goals for the Riot when possible. Onto the next mark of 100.

Breaking down the Snipas

Average Goals Per Player: 29.9
Players Above the Average: 15
Players Below the Average: 19
Average GWG: 3.8
Average PPG: 5.7

With the majority of the draft class averaging 175 GP across the board, it's a bit surprisingly how little it seems they have been manage offensively when it comes to putting up goals. A seemingly forward heavy class, the average for goals for this class sits currently at the 30 mark roughly with less than half of the class being able to stay over it. Time and development will surely raise this mark, but currently it seems a lot of the snipers of this class are still under performing. Mix in the average for Game winners, and PPG production and there is a lot left desired from the S31 so far as a whole.

HEY! Pass it along!

Rage Ace Redding - 108 Assists
- Sitting at almost an equal amount of assists as he does goals, Redding shows that he it a multi layered player who can dish out the puck as well as he puts it away himself.

Stampede Eduard Selich - 96 Assists
- Keeping pace with redding dispite the large point total difference this season Selich is keeping his name in the talks for one of the top draft picks in this draft dispite his departure from the site.

Stampede Ludwig Koch Schröder - 91 Assists
- The first Defenseman to grace the board LKS comes in at the 3 slot just barely edging out team mate Metzler. Known as more of a shoot first D man LKS still does not shy away apparently from feeding the puck up the ice to fellow team mates to get the job done.

Stampede Alexis Metzler - 90 Assists
- Slowly gaining ground on LKS, Metzler is making a case for himself of being the potentially best D man taken in the draft. Making some more ground on LKS this season look for these 2 D men to cotinue to feed off one another as long as Buffalo can keep them both around. Would not be the slightest bit surprised if he surpasses LKS sooner than later.

Steelhawks Kornel Kasparek - 78 Assists
- Still clinging onto some spots on the top of the list, this long since inactive player continues to produce for his team and still remains the current top value IFA to come out of this draft. With other recent departures, I feel he will loose the title soon enough but the steelhawks have still gotten top level value out of this player.

HEY! Pass it along! Analysis

Average Assists Per Player: 49
Players Above the Average: 17
Players Below the Average: 17

- A class that seems more willing to dish the puck than put it in themselves, the dividing line seems to be right down the middle, with half of the class surpassing the average and the rest sitting below it. Judging by trends I could see more ending up over the average than under eventually, but as it stands we are sitting even stevens.

Well Shit! I guess you got a Point

Rage Ace Redding - 204 PTS
- Simple math with the last two categories would have made it fairly obvious who was in the #1 spot. Forming a bit of a gap between him and Selich this year has given him a bit of breathing room. The extra season at the SHL level helps as Selich's Points per game is above Reddings (.891 vs .816). But again with Tomen gone, the door is wide up for Redding TPE wise to utilize and maximize his player.

Stampede Eduard Selich - 180 PTS
- Still putting in work Selich keeps putting up the points. Having a bit of a down year compared to last, he will put up respectable totals and as long as he can continue to crack the 35+ point mark he will sit near the top for some time.

Stampede Ludwig Koch Schröder - 127 PTS
- The only defenseman on the list LKS has been living up to the promised title of "Offensive" Defenseman and continues to piles on the points. In a forward heavy draft class he has managed to keep a spot in the top 3 for S31 and doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon with his 4th season putting up more than 27 pts.

Steelhawks Brennan Kennedy - 124 PTS
- The Steelhawks 'Selich', Hamilton is left with a steady producing winger to use for some time in it's top 6, so Kennedy will have every opportunity to keep piling on the points should the Steelhawks use him in a top tier role.

:admirals: Geronimo Otto - 124 PTS
- After having a down season Otto bounced back for the Admirals and continues to be their one true bright spot from the S31 (Goal tenders aside). If Otto can keep up this pace as he has in S35 he will develop into a ture #1 Center for the team and be the go to guy for seasons to come.

Well Shit! I guess you got a Point - Analysis

Average Points Per Player: 79
Players Above the Average: 16
Players Below the Average: 18

- Another close career total average. Points have the slight majority sitting on the outside looking in. There is a pretty definitive line as the gap starts at 72 and ends at 93. So there is a bit of a buffer zone in the middle of the pack still. Looking at the players under the middle mark, I'd fully expect the average moving forward to balance out down the middle, but honestly don't expect the majority of the class at this point to sit over the middle. With so many of the players having later starts than some, and then not performing in the sim as they may have hoped, the gap might be forming to large of a hole for many to pull themselves out of.

They Came in Like a Wrecking Ball
Rage Ace Redding - 862 Hits
- Oh look another category Redding is leading. Not only leading but destroying at. Sitting 246 hits ahead of the next best Hitter (who is an Inactive) and 396 ahead of the next active player shows how ridiculous of a power forward he has been so far. It's a no contest right now and might be moving forward.

Steelhawks Kornel Kasparek - 616 Hits
- Doing his job being a servicable D man for the Steelhawks.

Blizzard Ieuan Llewellyn - 489 Hits
- Surprisingly effective 'enforcer' that is still seeing playing time in Edmonton, LL has been effective at his role and continues to be of some use across the league.

Stampede Brynjar Tusk - 466 Hits
- Slowly climbing his way up the charts Tusk has finally started to fufill the role he is expected of and should challenge for the #2 spot in seasons to come. Redding might be to far ahead to catch but only time will tell for this Def D man.

Steelhawks Brennan Kennedy - 379 Hits
- Doing his job being a servicable D man for the Steelhawks much like Kasparek.

They Came in Like a Wrecking Ball - Analysis

- The next two stats are interesting when paired up together in that the majority of this class hasn't even met the average number of hits laid, but as you can see the hit differential below many are above it. What does this mean? Well that the people who hit a lot, hit so much that they inflate the average across the class making many of the other players seemingly timid in comparison.

Hit Differential Average: -51
Players Above the Average: 20
Players Below the Average: 14

- Well the average for hits dealed vs taken is negative, so it shows the majority of the class isn't very physical overall and spend the majority of their games being hit more than hit themselves, yet more than half of them still clear the -51 mark. So maybe many are closer to actually being even in general than less/more physical which would make sense, but there are a few players who inflate this average pretty badly much like those dealing the hits.

The Stars shine Brightly Tonight

Rage Ace Redding – 141 Star Points
- Surprise Surprise. Look who it is again. Another 1st place finish for Redding as he makes a big gap from himself and Selich this season. Only 2 points apart a season ago, these two now sit a large gap from one another. With the next closest active player sitting 80 points or so back (so those wondering quick math, that’s 20 1st star nominations) Redding will need to stumble hard to have anyone catch him at his current pace.

Stampede Eduard Selich – 94 Star Points
- RIP Tomen once again. Generating only 11 points this year, Selich drops back hugely.

Stars Reed Laing – 61 Star Points
- Vaulting up the charts quickly, Laing has made a point for herself very quickly and might be the true challenger for the #2 spot amongst forwards in this class before it’s all said and done. Hopefully she can replicate this pace for a few more seasons and really cement a spot in the top 5.

Steelhawks Brennan Kennedy – 55 Star Points
- Still keeping himself in the top 5 despite the total lack of growth really all season, Kennedy’s time amongst the top here is maybe something that won’t last for much longer.

Jets Jason Visser – 49 Star Points
- Just barely stealing the last spot in the top 5 Visser is starting to show some great strides for the Jets proving to everyone once again why he was a top 10 pick. He isn’t far ahead of those behind them just yet, so he will need to continue the pace he is currently plugging away at if he wants to keep a spot in the top 5

The Last Line of Defense - Looking at it all

To be honest I could take each individual stat and break them down like I do the players but I feel a goalies stat line is better when looked at as a whole and easier to really tell who has posted the more impressive numbers overall when it's all laid out. This is strictly the regular season performance of the goalies no playoff stats are taken into consideration until we look at that at the end of S36. With some many of the class not having a shot a playoffs yet, or many games to begin with, I want to wait a bit more til we have some more stats to pour over so we can truly compare how everyone fairs in the post season. So without any more delay lets dive right into the 'Top 5' and break down why I have people where they are.

Panthers Timo Haas
110-48-16
SV%: .910% - GAA: 2.63 - SO: 12 - Win%: .632

-The king of the mountain still for the S31 class. Another strong season has him forming a pretty respectable resume and gap between the rest of the class (for regular season accomplishments). A winning % that is leaps and bounds ahead of the rest, the title is Haas's to lose at this point. Sporting closer to the top save % and top GAA, added with shutouts makes this a no brainer. Still the best goalie off the board as of the conclusion of S35.

Stars Jeff Kirkstone
58-46-14
SV%: .906 - GAA: 2.98 - SO: 4 - Win%: .491

- Picking a #2 was really hard between the next 2 goalies but I have to give the edge to Kirkstone. Yes Aittokallio absolutley dominates him in career wins currently, and has a slight edge with winning more of his starts, BUT Kirkstone holds the edge in Save % and GAA. I feel like those are much more telling stats of a goalies performance and shows dispite maybe not having as many W's he still is performing in each game at a higher level than Aittokallio is career wise right now. It's a slight grasp on 2nd, but it's his for now.

Rage Jason Aittokallio
88-69-20
SV%: .899 - GAA: 3.09 - SO: 8 - Win%: .497

- The only things keeping Aittokallio from pushing his way into the 2 spot is his main 2 stats. Averaging 3 goals + a game against isn't a pedigree for a long successful career and shows that Manhattan has been proping him up a bit with their offense. Aittokallio will have to improve on those numbers he if doesn't want to be caught by the rest of the class who appears ready to steal away even the #3 spot from him.

:admirals: Kyle Wahlgren
43-33-8
SV%: .911 - GAA: 2.70 - SO: 6 - Win%: .500

- Making some massive strides this season finally accepting the role of starter for the Admirals. Wahlgren posted some impressive numbers in the games he did start. Remedying his poor stats from the past few seasons as back up, Wahlgren has really started to make a case for being one of the top 3 of his class. If he can continue the pace which he has set this season he could be behind Haas quickly, only time will tell if this season was a future look at the goalies career, or a flash in the pan.

Renegades Gerogette Pel
51-34-9
SV%: .900 - GAA: 3.04 - SO: 3 - Win%: .542

- Another goalie who has been a bit of a benefactor of her teams strong play allowing the W's to be recorded Pel hasn't been the worst so far, but hasn't shown the ability to challenge for the best. Having a long drawn out start to her career she is finally the starter for Texas and will look to take another stab at the post season this season. Improving her base stats to match with her winning starts % would go a long way to challenge those above her.

Mostly Updated for what I can cover now until I can get ahold of the 3 stars points, once those are updated in the Bojo Machine we will have the current 'value' rankings for the Class at it stands at the conclusion of S35. B)
