Hamilton is looking to make a jump into the right direction into becoming a championship caliber shl team. We need the right leaders in place to lead us there. We are the youngest team in the SHL right now and there is going to be bumps along the road but I and gooney feel like these three players have the right attitude and the right work ethic to take us through the darkest time in Steelhawks History. We want to become one of the best teams ever. I feel like the three players who we will name our leadership group will lead on and off the ice. Show the league what it means to be a steelhawk. Gooney and I feel like its time for our younger members to finally take the charge in leadership for our hockey club.


Captain


Our captain for the S37 season will a former 3rd overall pick of ours. we believe he is going to be one of the best goal scorers in the SHL one day and he has the work ethic, the attitude on and off the ice on what it means to be a steelhawk. Noro Wozy is a guy who doesn't take shit from anyone that is one thing I have learned about him. I like that quality. He is also pretty chill and likes to joke around every once and awhile. Doesn't cross the line when he jokes around like I do. He is going to be one of the best players in the SHL and he will be a guy that will lead us out of this dark period here in Hamilton. He wants to win in Hamilton. He is willing to do whatever it takes to win in Hamilton. He has recently been named GM of the Detriot Falcons. He wants to be a solution to our playoff drought and that is why I believe he is the right captain for the Hamilton Steelhawks

Robert Phelps is a former 1st overall pick of ours and has been everything that has been expected of him when he was selected. He is a leader on and off the ice. He is one of the hardest working members in the SHL today. He is going to be one of the better pass-first centers in the SHL and is a massive member of our team. I know when we selected him back in S35, we will be getting a player that will change the franchise for the better. That's why I paid the price to move up and select him. I think if we had a team of Phelps we would be an unstoppable force in the SHL. I think he has the potential to be an all-time great in the SHL and in the history of the Hamilton Steelhawks. Who knows he might wear the C one of these days.

Angelo Odjick is another great young roster player of ours. He is again a very hard worker off the ice. He is a mature member of our team and I knew when I picked him up to 2nd overall pick. I was getting a power forward that will create space for other members on our roster. I believe that you need some grit in our team and he brings enough for it that we really don't need anymore. Again like his IRL brother Phelps, he is another rookie on our roster that is going to make a massive impact on why the Hamilton Steelhawks are going to be a championship team in the near future. He has a promising start to his SHL career.

Jakub Trocheck is a former 1st overall pick, that has been nothing but great for our organization. We drafted her to build our defense up from the shambles. We feel she is still improving every day right now and she will still become a top offensive defenceman in the league. She has been a great member in our discord when she comes on. We are still proud of her and we would definitely select her 1st overall if we did a re-draft.

Honestly, this took so long because I had no idea who to pick. We probably could've had 4 other members wear a letter than the four we named today. I am happy on where the direction of our rebuild has gone and we have a great roster of players. Who act like a family and I think these four players lead us to act like one. Our leadership core in the sim will be C-Noro Wozy, A-Robert Phelps and A-Jakub Trocheck
