I'm looking for mentorship and a sense of brotherhood from my teammates.

I'm not looking to set any individual records. I'm not here for the tv deals and endorsements. I'm only here to win. I'm the player that opposing fans absolutely hate, but secretly hope I sign with their team next year.

4. Is playing time important for you in your rookie season?
It's important, but I do what's asked of me. All I need is to develop into a player that can succeed at the SHL level, and become a leader.

5. What's more important to you: Winning/Team success or an active locker room?
Team success comes first, but at the end of the day, it's a lot more fun to celebrate a victory with people you care about.

6. Tell us an interesting/funny fact about yourself.
Lived next door to a current NHL player for 15+ years.

I'd say an 8. I'd love to be able to stay within Canada, and I like the direction this team is headed.

Between an 8-9. I'll do my best to pick up on things quickly.

I'm looking for a team that will give me the opportunity to show off my defensive/offensive skill set.

I'm actively improving to become a shut-down center who will compliment a good defense, and use my frame to create offensive opportunities.

4. Is playing time important for you in your rookie season?
I think playing time is important for everybody if I'm lighting goalies up I would expect playing time. But of course, I would understand starting off low and earning the minutes.

An active locker room.

Playing time is important, but should be earned. The best way to get better is on the ice, but there has to be a reason to get that time in the first place.

An active locker room is more important to me. Having fun is what this league is all about. While, winning is important, that's not the only factor here.

I'm a massive harry potter fan, and while I haven't done so in a while, when I was younger, I had read the full series 23 times.

i made a rookie defenseman once in the smjhl. scored 48 pts in 50 games. No one has replicated that since.
