Toronto Hype Train
#1

The Toronto North Stars hype train is about to be real for Season 42 and beyond in the SHL. The team, who has been the bottom dwellers for the past few seasons are about to make a huge splash and it’s all thanks to General Manager Symmetrik. Toronto has been stock piling draft assets and letting them sit in the minor leagues, but not anymore! Symmetrik is ready to make a huge splash and the best way he knows how is mass call ups.

We will start with Paddy Kane-Reilly. PKR was a Center in Prince George but then traded to the St. Louis Scarecrows this past season for Prince George’s rebuild. GreyGooseVodka is the agent of this player, and has PKR seen a lot of work in the gym. Sitting at 485 TPE, he is going to hopefully make a sudden impact as the second or third line center for the Toronto North Stars. PKR has been super active in the locker room, and continues to talk back and forth with the team to figure out ways improve his player. We can’t wait to see what he does up here in the big leagues!

Next player to be called up, is Tommy Tuck’s Frienemy Mikhail Lokitonov. His agent ml002 saw him traded to the Kelowna Knights this previous season, also due to the Prince George rebuild. Mikhail has been a wonderful Right Winger for Kelowna, killing it throughout the regular season and playoffs. Some would say that he disappears in the playoffs, which what happened in previous years, but this year he turned it on. Some say it’s due to game planning, while others say it’s finally because he got his head out of his ass. Either which way, another gym rat, logging in roughly 622 hours. Besides the player being outstanding, his agent does a lot for the North Stars. He does a lot of pre-draft work, and actually has some jobs around the SHL. Lokitonov is going to be a huge addition to Toronto and the team is excited to see him as a second liner.

Luuk Kraaijkamp was a rookie this previous season, drafted by Toronto at 4th Overall. Those are some pretty big shoes to fill for Luuk. Luuk spent the previous season in the minors with the Colorado Mammoths. Playing Right Wing down there, Luuk had an impressive rookie campaign. As a rookie, he was 7th overall in goals, sitting at 22. To go along with those 22 goals, he had 20 assists. This man is on a mission and his agent InciteHysteria has nothing but good things to say about him. Another member that is going to bring a winning attitude up to Toronto, Luuk looks to probably be a third line wing until he moves up the ranks. He has also been quite the gym rat, logging an incredible 407 hours already!

Next is Luuk’s linemate, Florence Clijsters. Florence was also a rookie this past season in Colorado, drafted by Toronto with the 7th overall pick. Florence played Center down in Colorado, on the same line with Luuk. Sharing a line with Luuk, Florence saw 15 goals and 23 assists. Florence had also helped Colorado develop into a dangerous team, and I can only imagine that Colorado will be missing both of these players. Florence has been seen in the gym often with Luuk, piling up a nice 421 hours. Florence’s agent, enigmatic, has been seen around a lot in Toronto’s locker room, and is very excited about seeing this team be brought up together.

Defensemen was a huge problem for the Toronto North Stars and their goalie, Tommy Tuck. Bob Bergen is on his way up, to hopefully shore up that defensive problem they were having. Even though he is an offensive defenseman, with 17 goals and 22 assists, 9 of those goals were Power Play goals, and 4 of those goals were actually game winners, he was in the top 10 of shots blocked at 67. He also served 62 penalty minutes, but sometimes these defensemen got to get rough to keep the goalie happy. Detroit is going to miss this man in the locker room and on the ice. Bob has been seen a lot recently in Toronto’s locker room, as well as the gym up north, already pouring in 564 hours in the gym. Bob is looking like a good second line defenseman, and hopefully he can continue to work his ass off in Toronto. His agent, Nobody, has done nothing but talked praise on this man, even saying in emergency situations he can play as a winger.

To continue to help shore up the defense, Richard Physt is being called up as well. This man is a brute, brawler, just a thug (In a good way.) He will help turn Toronto’s defense into a defense that will be feared. This man was a monster for the Kelwona Knights last year as He had 65 minutes in the penalty box last year, as well as he was second in the minors with five total fights. This man is a monster, and Toronto hopes he can show that aggression in the major leagues as well. His agent, CptSquall has come to Toronto and told them that Physt has been in the gym all off season, and he has racked in 499 gym hours. A second line pairing of Bergen and Physt is bound to be nasty.

Toronto wasn’t done bringing up defensemen, as Ti-Guy Emond has been called up. Another player from the Colorado Mammoths origination, Ti-Guy was a backbone down there. Another enforcer like Physt, Emond was second in the minors with 73 total penalty minutes, as well as he won one of his few fights he had. Emond is a locker room presence and Toronto is trying to make a huge splash this season, so he will be a much needed asset. His agent is as talkative as the rest of them, but don’t sleep on gaby, because once Emond comes up we know he’s going to tear the league up. Gaby has stated that Emond has been spending a lot of time in the gym, sitting at a lovely 447 hours. Emond is projected to be a third line defenseman with the next man on this list.

Rounding out the defensemen being called up is none other than Gilmore Tuttle. Tommy Tuck’s “supposed” half-brother, and yet another Colorado Mammoth. Gilmore Tuttle has not been seen in the gym nearly as much as his other teammates, holding only 276 gym hours, but do not count this guy out. He is going to have a chip on his shoulder, after spending much time as a fourth line defenseman in Colorado. His agent has stated that Gilmore is not the biggest, or the strongest, but damn does he have the heart. This defenseman is going to leave it all on the ice, day in and day out, and looks to round out the third line of defensemen with Emond.
Gilmore Tuttle

Last but not least, is the backup goalie that Toronto is calling up. Steven Moore, goalie for the Halifax Raiders is going to sit behind Tommy Tuck this season. Tuck has a lot to pass on to this young goalie, and plans to hit the gym with him early and often. Moore has only racked up 165 total gym hours, but that doesn’t mean much. His agent, maxcrazy, has been around Toronto a bit, and is excited to see Moore play behind Tommy Tuck. This is going to look like a good season for Toronto.

That’s all of the call ups for Toronto, but another huge event happened on draft day. Symmetrik decided to make a huge trade to shake the league up. His was mind blowing for Toronto, and everyone is excited to see what will come of it.

Toronto Sends:
#3 Overall
#17 Overall
Season 43 2nd round pick

New England Sends:
Jasper Clayton
Season 42 1st round pick

Jasper Clayton is a huge addition for a team that struggled defensively last season. Jasper has been a force in New England for the past 15 seasons. Just this past season alone, he was top 6 in minutes, playing a staggering 1,262 minutes. He was also one of the few players to score a short-handed goal, and win one of the few fights he was in. His agent, Eggy216, has stated that Jasper still lives in the gym, even after fifteen seasons, and has logged 1,245 hours in there. Jasper looks to shore up the defense as a top paired man, and looks to help bring Toronto into the playoffs this upcoming season. We cannot wait to see what Toronto brings, but this hype train has no breaks. It really comes down to what these rookies can do in the big leagues, and they have their work cut out for them. Thankfully there is a lot of veteran leadership in Toronto, and this team looks like it might make an impact right away.

Who is that Cligsters person you speak of?

It's payback for not being able to spell your player's name correctly for like 5 months?
