You have to play this while you read otherwise you are a bum

Alright boys and girls, boys who identify as girls, and girls who identify as guys, lizard people, dogs, and most importantly, friends. This is an emergency hangover as there is something I'd like to address... I am no longer a member of the Anchorage Armada.

This is a different kind of feeling. I remember bugging my buddies, Steve McGirthensons and Doug Dimmadome, to sign up for the league. Like everything else we do, we were late for the draft and became free agents in Season 40. This gave us the power to play together for any team willing to put up with us. The team at the team was the Prince George Firebirds. They promised us first line minutes and a bright future. It was a no-brainer for the three of us to join this club as undrafted free agents and we were dubbed the Buffalo Boys. We all know by now the other two ended up falling out of the league, while I went on to be honored with back to back to back nominations for the Captain of the Anchorage Armada.

I played in the final game in Prince George. I played in the first game in Anchorage, I played in the first playoff game in Anchorage. My family helped me become the player I am today, and without them, I would probably still be trying to figure out this league. When I say family I mean my teammates, my managers, and my alumni. If you're an outsider looking in, I recommend joining that locker room, it's a pretty groovy thing. But today, I take my World Juniors Gold medal out of my locker, and I pack my bags for Detroit.

I'm very excited for this opportunity to play in Detroit and have one last run at the Four Star Cup. I'm very excited for the new friends I hope to make in that locker room in my short time there. I'm very excited to learn new things from these welcoming people. Detroit is a hell of a lot closer to my home in Buffalo too, and a hell of a lot closer to my big league club Minnesota.

But look guys, it's late. I'm sure everyone's reading farewells and hellos tonight. I just wanted to give one last Thank You to this team, I am extremely grateful for what you have done for me. I'm excited you got some kind of asset for me. @ml002 there is no love lost brother, and I know we will cross paths again.
