Now that the holidays have come and gone most of the populous has gone back to work and their daily routines, except those SMJHL players still on holiday break before the season starts. But it does seem that a couple of the Halifax Raiders are mixing in some work with their fun. We snapped a couple pics of Raiders rookie Defensemen Touncie Bitties and rookie goaltender Mike McKorsy getting in some extra practice time at a local rink.

Later that night Bitties and McKorsy were spotted bouncing between the bars and clubs, enjoying the nightlife before cracking down for the season. Atleast that's what we hope for Bitties. Touncie went undrafted largely inpart to his excessive partying back in Austria. He played very inconsistent which lead to his dropping off the draft charts. Though the next day after another practice session with McKorsy, Bitties was seen bar hopping again with his long time girlfriend Ivana Smirnov. Smirnov moved to Halifax with Bitties to try and enhance her modeling career here in Canada and the United States.

Hopefully distractions off the ice won't be a problem for Bitties this season.
