Welcome to another St.Louis Scarecrows season update. 10 games played. How did we do? Games 10 Montreal Militia vs St. Louis Scarecrows 5-4 L 11 St. Louis Scarecrows vs Lethbridge Lions 2-0 W 12 St. Louis Scarecrows vs Anchorage Armada 3-6 L 13 Lethbridge Lions vs St. Louis Scarecrows 4-3 L 14 Anchorage Armada vs St. Louis Scarecrows 4-1 L 15 St. Louis Scarecrows vs Montreal Militia 3-2 W 16 Anaheim Outlaws vs St. Louis Scarecrows 3-2 L 17 Kelowna Knights vs St. Louis Scarecrows 4-5 OT W 18 St. Louis Scarecrows vs Halifax Raiders 1-3 L 19 St. Louis Scarecrows vs Colorado Raptors 3-2 W Well not good, but could be worse i guess, 6 losses and 4 wins. Game Notes - In game 11 Billy Sorokin record his first shutout of the season. - From game 12 and onwards, there were some roster changes. Jerry Larry (a non-capped, 4th year junior winger) got demoted from line 1 to line 4. That means Gordie Boomhover, Fork Spoon and Filip Zadina all moved up one line. Jerry is still playing on the first powerplay unit. On defense Airi Yamaguchi (a 199 TPE, 4th year junior) got demoted to line 4. That means Isaac Yamada and Mattie Brunton moved up one line. - In game 17 we won another time against Kelowna Knights. Of the 19 points that we collected in total so far, 9 has been against Kelowna. Standings: 1. Halifax Raiders GP 19 / W 13 / L 4 / OTL 2 / P 28 8. St. Louis Scarecrows GP 19 / W 9 / L 9 / OTL 1 / P 19 10. Colorado Raptors GP 19 / W 6 / L 10 / OTL 3 / P 15 9 points behind the leader Halifax Raiders. We lost 1-3 against them. We are still meeting them 4 times though. The gap with the last team, Colorado Raptors is only 4 points. Who is on a hot streak? - Nicolas Fleming: Still producing well, 9 points in his last 10 games - Ty Hoover: Also producing well with 1 goal, 7 assists, 17 hits and +/- 3 - Fork Spoon: Still going strong with 3 goals, 3 assists, +/- 1 and 17 hits - Michael Fox scored 4 goals along with a plus/minus of +3 - Rookie Charlie Serpe heating up with 4 assists, 10 hits and a +/- 1 Who is on a cold streak? - Our third line suffers with the graduation of Spoon to line two. They have a combined -16 in their last 10 games (Zadina -5, Wawazat -6, Tikhonov -6) - Rookies Mattie Brunton and Noah Gallagher are still pointless in 19 respectively 16 games - Kiko Rytmyr is shaky with a -5 in his last 10 games. - Gordie Boomhover is not producing well despite being promoted to the first line. He added 5 points, +1 and 12 PIMS.
