Ladies and Gentleman of the media, it is with great pleasure that I that I may announce the much anticipated Captain and Assistants of the Vancouver Whalers.

First and foremost I would like to announce the Assistant Captains starting with the second Assistant, Rookie Joe (@joslaker )Ackroyd. Drafted in the third round Joe has continued to prove himself as an important asset on our back end. Joe is not only leading the team in blocked shots, but also the league, showing his team mates that he's on this team for more than just his name in lights, but to help wherever he can.

Our First Assistant Captain for this season is Casimir (@Daco) Stevens. Drafted in the early fourth round of the season 45 SMJHL entry draft Casimir has worked as hard as anyone to improve his skill and stake his claim as our starting netminder. Casimir was drafted 45th overall in the season 46 entry draft to the Minnesota Chiefs Chiefs

and can be seen starting in net for them when their starting goalie is being rested.

Last but certainly not least it's my honor to announce Borromini (@ArGarBarGar) Cannellini as our captain oh captain for the remainder of the season. Cannellini, drafted 7th overall but the Vancouver Whalers in the Season 45 SMJHL entry draft, then later 10th overall by the Los Angeles Panthers

during the Season 46 SHL entry draft, has during the start of this season almost carried this team on his shoulder offensively. Cannellini is currently leading both the whalers and the league in goals, and shots, and is second in the league for plus/minus behind linemate Petr Mikulak with a +13 rating.
