So a member of my Locker Room asked me how to download and use Simon T so I did and for the newer people who may want to or the new GM's in the WJC I hope this helps.

1. Go to http://sths.simont.info/Download_En.php and download SimonT Hockey Simulator V3 : Version 3.1.7

Once you download that to wherever you have it you want to create these folders

You want to create those folders.

You open Simon T and then go to File -> Open -> whatever SHL or SMJHL file you are opening

From there you want to go to
League -> Output Options -> Folders

And you want to reroute those folders to your newly created folders you had.

After that you can simulate and you can get outputs and stuff.

If you are done simming for that season you can go through playoffs and you can sim to the offseason where you can create another season, and you can change the games to as many as you want, to get better results

HOWEVER. Following that guide doesn't work unless you change in critical step at the end.

When you have opened Xsomething, instead of typing the command line given in the guide you need to instead type this one:

mono --arch=32 SimonTHockeySimulator-v3.exe

I have no idea why that one works and the other doesn't . But it does . If someone can explain why, let me know.

(Also Xquartz, might now be called X11 or something)

Hope that helps any Mac users access the client. (Client only not main sim engine, client will allow you to submit lines and strategies as a GM/coach).

Yep, they copy over through the off-season

As far as I know lines are wiped in the offseason for the official SMJHL and SHL files however

Excellent guide. Do one on outputting results to a website like you guys do for the results here because I've tried to figure it out and it's confusing as fuck. Smile
